Robbie Williams fans gobsmacked as singer faces unlikely 'stage invader' on tour
Robbie Williams is in the middle of a mammoth 37-show tour in support of his latest album, Britpop, which has seen him play a number of shows in the UK and across Europe. But during one recent gig in Germany, the former Take That star left fans gobsmacked as he was seen bravely fending off an unlikely "stage invader" who tried to interrupt the show.
A video of the incident was shared on TikTok by The Lottery Winners, a pop band who have been supporting Robbie on his tour throughout the UK and Europe. The clip begins with Robbie inviting his "new best mate" and Lottery Winners lead singer Thom Rylance on stage, before the fellow musician alerts him to the unwelcome guest on stage with them.
But the stage invader isn't an overzealous fan, but is instead something that could be even scarier - a wasp.
Thom tells Robbie in the clip: "There's a wasp right on you."
As the Angels singer moves out of the way, the wasp flies between the two, and Thom can be heard screaming while Robbie tells the insect to "f**k off". He then also jokingly tells the crowd to "finish the gig yourselves" as he attempts to run off stage away from the angry wasp.
WARNING: The below TikTok video contains strong language.
The crowd descends into laughter as Thom lifts his guitar as a weapon to fight off the wasp, before declaring to Robbie that he's "so scared". Robbie then stated: "I'm not. I'm butch."
Robbie asks Thom if he would be willing to play guitar for some of his songs, but is cut off mid-sentence as the wasp comes back for more and he's forced to pull off the scarf he's wearing and throw it into the crowd to try and deter the insect.
The video then cuts to Robbie and Thom performing Take That's hit Relight My Fire together, before Thom once again has to run away as the wasp returns to taunt him some more.
Commenters on the video were left in stitches by the duo's antics, as people joked they needed "security" to escort the wasp off stage so the musicians could get back to the show.
One person said: "Where's security when you need them?"
Another added: "When the best concert ever becomes a stand-up comedy show."

Destination X thrown into chaos as police interrupts next episode of BBC show
Destination X fans were left in stitches as the BBC reality competition is thrown into chaos BBC's fresh globetrotting reality series Destination X descended into mayhem after Italian authorities disrupted production. Fronted by Welsh comedian Rob Brydon, the programme follows 10 contestants on an epic European journey aboard a coach with tinted windows, visiting stunning but enigmatic destinations. During each episode, participants face trials to secure hints that might assist them in solving one crucial puzzle: precisely where on Earth have they landed? Competitors build partnerships and feuds throughout their quest, all vying for a substantial monetary reward. At the conclusion of Thursday's episode (August 14) of the programme, audiences received a preview of the forthcoming instalment which spiralled into disorder when local authorities disrupted shooting, reports the Express. As the group neared a border checkpoint, Italian officers seemed to stop the coach, declaring "you have no permit". It was then that BBC production staff informed the team: "Just bear with us please, we're having some issues with local authorities". Police subsequently enquired: "How many people on the bus?" before a crew member was spotted conversing with them prior to yelling: "We need to find the paperwork now". It wasn't long before supporters flocked to X - previously Twitter - to voice their theories online. One viewer wrote: "Not the police getting involved, my word" whilst another quipped: "The next location is Venice jail [laughing emoji]" as a third added: "Messy TV at its finest [cry-laughing emoji]." However, some viewers were sceptical about the police intervention. One viewer scoffed: "Not falling for that! [cry-laughing emoji]" while another chimed in with: "Not real police I reckon." A third viewer noted: "That police happened on the US version too" and a fourth quipped: "Yeah sure there are cameras everywhere and the Italian police would definitely allow it to be filmed as they raid the bus." Executive producer Dan Adamson previously told the Mirror: "We crossed a lot of borders and there was always a chance that we were going to have officials trying to board the bus, and so we had to have plan Bs, which we had fake uniforms that we would then do a second boarding of the bus to try and pretend it was just part of the room.' The dramatic twist followed an episode that left fans feeling short-changed when Rob announced that no contestants would be leaving the reality show that night. Viewers quickly took to social media to vent their frustration. One disgruntled fan blasted: "What an absolute waste of an episode" and another concurred: "What an absolutely, pointless, waste of time this part of the show has been. Honestly don't see any point to it other than filler." Another viewer agreed, stating: "So if you skip this episode apart from the first five minutes you wouldn't miss any of the game process" while a third lamented: "This format is nonsense? Poor man's Traitors." Destination X is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

Dancing With the Stars fans FURIOUS as controversial wife of A-List actor is rumored to be on this year's show
Alec Baldwin 's wife Hilaria Baldwin has sparked rumors she is joining the season 34 cast of Dancing With The Stars. The full list of celeb contestants has yet to be revealed, and the experienced yogi, 41, kicked off chatter she may be next in line after she posted a dancing video to her TikTok account on Tuesday. But it was a comment she singled out that has really prompted the speculation. 'Girl can dance!! Getting ready for DWTS?' one TikToker posted with two grey heart emojis in the comments section. Not only did Hilaria, 41, like and thank the fan for their message, but she even posted a second dancing video responding directly to that particular fan's DWTS suggestion. She uploaded a video of her busting a few more moves with the TikToker's message tacked into the corner of the clip. While this isn't the first time Hilaria has sparked DWTS speculation, the timing of this particular clip is noteworthy considering Dancing With The Stars will be premiering next month. Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Hilaria, Alec, and DWTS for comment about the casting rumors but have not yet heard back. While many fans were thrilled by the prospect of Hilaria - who shares seven kids with husband Alec, 67 - joining the show, not everyone was in agreement. 'This would be insufferable,' one posted. 'Give it up!!' another commented. 'This is sad,' one weighed in. One TikToker said they have had enough of the famous family: 'Am I the only one that's really tired of the Baldwins? I literally couldn't get through their reality show. She's incorrigible.' Another appeared to take issue with her desire for the spotlight: 'LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! Must be exhausting for family members!' The video got one viewer rolling their eyes. 'Lawd,' they wrote along with an eyeroll emoji. 'Grifter is gonna grift,' another wrote, appearing to reference the controversy surrounding Hilaria's background. The prospect of Hilaria joining DWTS divided fans in the comments section The majority of the comments, however, were positive, with one even suggesting they begin a petition to convince DWTS to cast Hilaria. 'I would love to see you on DWTS,' one wrote. 'Definitely should do dancing with the stars,' another fan said. 'We need to start a petition that hilaria should be on DWTS!!' one posted. Thurs far, only four celebrities have been unveiled for season 34 of DWTS, set to debut in September. Hilaria, pictured in June, sparked the latest round of speculation after a fan praised her dance moves Robert Irwin, the son of the late Steve Irwin, social media influencer Alix Earle, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt. And an insider recently exclusively revealed to Daily Mail that reality TV royalty could be taking to the coveted ballroom in a few weeks. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have both been asked to join, according to an insider. But the deal isn't set in stone just yet, as it will reportedly take a major paycheck for the couple to sign on. 'Spencer and Heidi have both been asked to join the next season of DWTS, and they could sign on the dotted line if the money is right. It is all about the money,' the source said. 'Negotiations are hot and heavy right now.' The couple, who have been married since 2008, have been in need of a financial boost after losing their $2.5million Pacific Palisades home in the devastating Los Angeles fires earlier this year.
