Game, duet and match – Andrea Bocelli records song with tennis ace Jannik Sinner
The song, Polvere e Gloria (meaning Dust And Glory), features world number one Sinner repeating parts of his winning and losing speeches, which he recorded at Bocelli's studio in Tuscany.
The track, which features both Italian and English lyrics, is described as a 'musical dialogue between two Italian icons', blending opera and storytelling.
Sinner said: 'I am very happy and honoured to be part of this project with Andrea, who for 30 years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag for our country in the rest of the world.
'I could never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs. It's extremely moving.'
The accompanying music video features personal and archive images from the duo's childhoods, along with scenes filmed as they collaborated at Bocelli's estate.
It will be released on June 20 on Decca Records/Universal Music.
Sinner is the first Italian to reach the top ranking.
Bocelli began his career in 1994 with the album Il Mare Calmo Della Sera, having previously worked as a singer in piano bars.
He has gone on to sell almost 90 million records worldwide and has performed at major events across the world including the Olympic Games and the World Cup.

Newest trattoria in town opens soon
The Hoxton Edinburgh is set to open on 1 July along with its modern Italian restaurant Patatino which is inspired by the trattorias of Sorrento. From 1 to 6 July the restaurant is offering 50% off all food. Patatino takes its name from an Italian term of endearment (literally 'little potato') and will offer 'joyous hospitality and a laid-back romantic atmosphere', and the menu combines hearty Italian dishes with local Scottish produce – many with a creative twist, including: Deep fried spaghetti squares with tomato and spicy basil pesto Linguine with shellfish bisque, Eyemouth crab and Amalfi lemon Pizza with 'nduja, haggis, jalapeño, hot honey and fior di latte Panettone pudding To start, menu highlights include Deep Fried Spaghetti Squares with Tomato and Spicy Basil Pesto; Arancini with Slow-Cooked Brisket, Pea and Smoked Tomato and Charcoal are followed by pastas including Linguine with Shellfish Bisque, Eyemouth Crab and Amalfi Lemon and Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, as well as sourdough pizzas topped with Scottish Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Pesto or, for the more adventurous, 'Nduja, Haggis, Jalapeño, Hot Honey and Fior di Latte. Desserts include a traditional Tiramisù, made to a recipe shared by the Hoxton's chef in Florence and Rome, and a Panettone Pudding, an Italian take on a bread and butter pudding. Seafood – including lobster and Scottish langoustines – is sourced from John Vallance fishmongers, while meat comes from third generation family butcher John Gilmour, which sources grass-fed beef from sustainable farms in Scotland. The drinks list offers creative spins on quintessential Italian cocktails, including spritzes – from the classic Aperol and Hugo serves to a refreshing Grapefruit and Olive Spritz – as well as 'House Special' negronis, finished tableside with a choice of peach, strawberry or Amalfi lemon mist garnishes. These sit alongside a signature selection of 'Made in Italia' serves created for Patatino by The Hoxton's bar teams in Rome and Florence, including a Pata-tini with Gin, Cocchi Rosa and RinQuinQuin, and the Solemn Pomace with strawberry-infused grappa, lime and sugar. The all-Italian wine list is split by region, mixing bottles from Italy's most respected winemakers with wines from up-and-coming artisan producers. To reach the restaurant diners may enter through the hotel lobby or from the street entrance which will be unmistakable with a scalloped stripe awning and dramatic florals. Inside the decor is vibrant hot pink with dramatic lighting. At its heart, a bite-sized interpretation of a Baroque-style Italian fountain is surrounded by banquettes upholstered in rich tones of mid-blue velvet, navy leather, and dark-stained timber. Photos from the celebration, shared on social media by Daisy's half-sister Betty Goffey, 18, offered a glimpse into the intimate evening. Guests gathered around a candlelit table set up outside the trattoria, creating a warm, celebratory mood. One photo showed Daisy wearing a classic off-the-shoulder white gown with her hair half-up, captioned simply by Betty: 'Da bride.' Daisy stunned fans as she later posted a string of shots from an Agent Provocateur shoot, in which she wore sets of VERY racy lingerie inside her room at the five-star Lanesborough hotel. The star wore a veil with the getup, as well as a giant white bow, and a cake between her legs. In their Instagram caption, the brand wrote: "And for the wedding night... "Daisy Lowe for Agent Provocateur, captured by Claire Rothstein." Earlier that day, her mum Pearl Lowe shared a family photo taken on a quiet residential street before the couple headed to exchange their vows. Also in attendance were Pearl's husband Danny Goffey, Daisy's half-siblings Betty, Alfie and Frankie, and her godmother, musician Zoe Grace. Inside model Daisy Lowe's adventure to the US with boyfriend Jordan Saul Jordan's family, including his parents, were also part of the celebrations. One notable absence was Daisy's biological father Gavin Rossdale, the frontman of rock band Bush. Though he wasn't present at the London ceremony, the pair remain on good terms, and he's expected to attend a larger wedding celebration the couple are planning in Somerset later this summer. Daisy and Jordan share a daughter named Ivy, who the Strictly alum gave birth to in 2023. 5 Daisy with husband Jordan Saul Credit: Getty 5 Daisy had a sexy lingerie shoot ahead of her special day Credit: Agent Provocateur 5 The sexy shoot left little to the imagination Credit: Agent Provocateur She announced her pregnancy in October 2022, after announcing their engagement in September. I'm oscillating wildly between excitement & nervousness with a dash of morning sickness thrown in for good measure! Big love to all of you." Daisy found her happy ever after with Jordan after a series of failed romances with famous faces including Dr Who star Matt Smith and DJ Mark Ronson. She also dated One Direction's Harry Styles and rapper Tinie Tempah.
