Holly and Ari were previously kidnapped by some dangerous people who are looking for Doug III as he owes them money. Today on Days of Our Lives, we see the girls locked up in a room. They try to stay calm but things take a shocking turn when Ari reveals that she is romantically involved with Doug
Doug, meanwhile, tries to gather information about the girls from the kidnapper. Tate adds to his worries when he demands to know what is going on.
Gwen asserts her authority, gets into a fight with Kristen
Meanwhile, Gwen reappears at the DiMera mansion and tries to assert herself. She says that she belongs here as she married into the family. Gwen's unannounced arrival irritates EJ and Kristen, who give her an earful. She, however, stands her ground.

Later on Days of Our Lives, Gwen sits for a drink with Kristen to sort out their differences. Things, however, turn ugly in no time. Kristen questions her true intentions. Gwen responds by reminding her of her association with the DiMera family.

NBC's Brilliant Minds is back in business for a second season, and it is bringing some fresh talent along for the ride. TV Insider confirms that Days of Our Lives actor Al Calderon has joined the ensemble as a series regular. He will play Nurse Scotty Silva, a sharp, well-connected caregiver who seems to know just about everyone's secrets. Deadline first broke the casting news on July 29.
