Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty reiterated Egypt's absolute rejection of Israel's declared intention to impose military control over the entire Gaza Strip, emphasizing that Israel, as the occupying power, is responsible for allowing humanitarian aid into the Strip.
During a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart in the New Alamein City, he said, "The displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and areas in the West Bank is a red line that we will not allow to occur."

S. Korea Cuts 17 Military Units Amid Falling Birth Rates

Israa Farhan Official data released today reveal that South Korea's armed forces have shrunk to 450,000 personnel, falling short of the 500,000 minimum troop level required under the current armistice conditions. This shortfall leaves the country facing a deficit of 50,000 soldiers. According to figures submitted by the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Manpower Administration to lawmaker Cho Mi-ae of the ruling Democratic Party, the military has lost 110,000 troops since 2019. The Army has borne the brunt of this decline, leading to the disbandment or consolidation of 17 military units at the division level. The steep drop in South Korea's birth rate has exacerbated manpower shortages, forcing defense officials to restructure the military's organization and capabilities to maintain operational readiness amid demographic challenges. The downsizing highlights South Korea's urgent need to address recruitment and retention issues as it continues to face security threats from neighboring North Korea. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani

Chad Opposition Leader Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

Israa Farhan Former Chadian Prime Minister and prominent opposition figure Succès Masra has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of disseminating racist and xenophobic messages inciting violence, Reuters reported on Saturday, citing his lawyer. Masra, a staunch critic of President Mahamat Idriss Déby, served as prime minister in Déby's interim government for nearly five months before running against him in the May 2024 presidential election. The charges stem from a violent incident in May in the southern town of Mandakou, where dozens were killed during clashes. The Chadian prosecutor's office opened an investigation into Masra that same month. In addition to the prison sentence, the court imposed a fine of one billion CFA francs, equivalent to about 1.8 million US dollars. Masra's legal team has confirmed plans to appeal the ruling. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani

14 Terrorists Killed in Military Operation in Pakistan

Israa Farhan Fourteen militants were killed in a military operation carried out by the Pakistani Army in the southwestern province of Balochistan, according to an official statement released today by the military's media wing. The operation took place in the Zhob district, where army forces seized a significant cache of weapons and explosives from the terrorists. This operation forms part of a wider clearance effort by the Pakistani Army in coordination with security forces to prevent infiltration by terrorist elements across the border from Afghanistan. Over the past two days, the number of militants killed has risen to 47. On Friday, the Pakistani Army reported that 33 militants attempting to cross into southwestern Pakistan from neighboring Afghanistan were killed during a night operation in Zhob. The army described the militants as members of the 'Khawarij,' a term used by the government to refer to the Pakistani Taliban. The operation is ongoing as security forces continue to search for remaining insurgents. Pakistan has long accused the Taliban-led government in Afghanistan of turning a blind eye to militant activity near the border, allegations Kabul denies. The Pakistani military also claimed the militants received support from India, though it has yet to provide evidence to substantiate this assertion. Pakistan, in turn, has accused New Delhi of backing the Pakistani Taliban and separatist groups in Balochistan. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani
