Six people hospitalized after head-on collision on Clara Barton Parkway

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. () — A two-vehicle crash on Clara Barton Parkway left multiple people hospitalized on Friday afternoon, first responders said.
Pete Piringer, spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS), said in a post just before 1:15 p.m. that the collision happened near Cabin John Parkway and the D.C.-Maryland line.

There, two cars collided head-on, igniting a fire and trapping some passengers in one of the cars, officials said.
The fire, Piringer noted, was well involved and spread to surrounding brush.
Six people were taken to the hospital, two of whom had traumatic injuries. Luckily, all injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, according to officials.
