WWII vet turning 104 invites 'favorite president' Trump to celebration, and discusses his secret for long life

Fox News03-04-2025

Denver Moore has a big birthday coming up and a big guest in mind.
Moore, a World War II veteran who lives in Canal Fulton, Ohio, is turning 104 on May 15, and he hopes President Donald Trump can come to his birthday party.
"So far, he's my favorite president," Moore told Fox News Digital. "And Biden was my worst."
Moore first shared his birthday wish in a TikTok video posted on March 23 by a family friend. The video quickly took off, amassing over 700,000 views in 10 days.
"President Trump… I'm gonna be 104 in May, and I'm inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton," he said in the video. "I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more."
Since the video was posted, people from all over the country—and even as far away as Africa—have reached out to him.
"It's been quite a ride," Moore said.
Moore has been a longtime supporter of the president and says he agrees with most of the actions he's taken.
"He may make a mistake or two, but he's doing most everything right," he said.
Moore lives at Danbury Senior Living facility in Massillon, a town just south of Cleveland.
He grew up on a farm in Noble County, Ohio before he entered the service and spent three-and-a-half years in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
After serving his country, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service and raised three children with his late wife Thelma, to whom he was married for 75 years before she died in 2022 at age 95.
Kelli Beckler, executive director of Danbury, told Fox News Digital that since the video was posted they've been flooded with messages and birthday cards from people all across the country cheering the veteran on.
Moore is still sharp-witted and stays physically active, his family and Beckler said.
Even at 103, he can still say the alphabet backwards, as he proudly demonstrated to Fox News Digital.
"I learned that over 80 years ago," he said with a grin.
The centenarian said the secret to living a long healthy life is staying physically active.
"I was always active, doing something. I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm. We did everything. And if we didn't have anything to do, we created something. So it's just this: stay active," he said.
Moore had one more nugget of wisdom to pass along:
"Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life," he said.
Chick-fil-A will be catering the birthday celebration, Moore said, and it will take place at the SAM Center in Canal Fulton. There will also reportedly be a parade in Moore's honor.
The White House did not return Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Miley Cyrus makes surprising nod to ex-boyfriend's famous father Arnold Schwarzenegger in new visual album

Miley Cyrus features one of her ex's parents in a major way in her new visual album. The 32-year-old musician premiered the movie musical, "Something Beautiful," which accompanies her ninth studio album of the same name, at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film acts as a visual album, showcasing the record's 13 songs with visuals and music videos which enhance the album's overall message and theme. Among the visuals included in the film is Cyrus strutting down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, before lying down on top of "The Terminator" star, Arnold Schwarzenegger's star on the historic sidewalk, as part of the music video for the song "Walk of Fame," featuring Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, per People. Cyrus famously dated the actor's son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, for one year, from 2014 to 2015. The "Hannah Montana" star previously opened up about filming on The Hollywood Walk of Fame during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in which she told the talk show host her "leg began to disintegrate" after filming. "And then the doctor goes, 'Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?'' she said on the show. "To have a surgeon look at you and say, 'Yuck…' They open up cadavers. They see inside the guts of humans and they're looking at me, telling me I'm disgusting. And they do brain operations!" After the film's premiere on Friday, Cyrus sat down for a Q&A panel, where she was met with hecklers demanding she sing, with one fan shouting, "We thought this was a concert! We paid $800!" as heard in a video posted to X. Following multiple other outbursts from fans, Cyrus began to sing her 2009 hit, "The Climb," and the whole thing turned into a sing-a-long, with the crowd joining in. Since their breakup in 2015, Patrick has appeared in many projects, before starring in season three of "The White Lotus," telling Fox News Digital "it's been a wild journey" since the show premiered. WATCH: PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER TALKS 'GREAT CONVERSATION' WITH DAD ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER He and his dad recently appeared on Variety's "Actors on Actors" series in which they discussed their respective careers. "It was a great conversation. It was kind of a really cool moment for me to be able to have that conversation with my dad, hear about his kind of journey at the beginning of his film career, and how our different careers differ," he told Fox News Digital about the conversation. "What it was like for him to work with certain directors and writers like James Cameron, how they differ from Mike White." His parents, the "True Lies" star and journalist, Maria Shriver, separated in 2011 after 25 years of marriage after Arnold confessed to fathering a child with the family's housekeeper during their marriage. They have remained close, however, having been seen together on social media celebrating milestone events. Looking back at his own career, Patrick explained having the support of his parents throughout his journey has "been a blessing." "Wait why is everyone so mean on here… music is music. I'm so blessed to be on the chart and I'm also so happy for all the wins in music," he began in the post. "Manchild is such a great record and I'm so honored to be mentioned in the same sentence as Sabrina." Warren concluded, "Ordinary means so much to me and so many people and it's totally ok if it doesn't to you. I'm just happy to be here:)." In February 2025, Warren's "Ordinary" was released through Atlantic Records as the lead single from his upcoming debut studio album,You'll Be Alright, Kid. Warren previously explained the meaning behind his song, "Ordinary," which he said was inspired by his wife, Kouvr Annon. The couple, who initially found fame as members of the content creation hub Hype House, wed in June 2024. The same month "Ordinary" was released, Annon posted a TikTok in which she compiled clips of Warren performing. "When you watch the person you love do the thing they love most in the world," she wrote at the time. She captioned the post, "I'm the worlds most proud musician wife."
