Jeremy Renner is upset about allegations by ex-wife Sonni Pacheco

Actor Jeremy Renner opened up about his divorce and custody battle with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, and the allegations swirling these incidents.
"Whatever stress I've had in life, I've tried to find a way of laughing through it," said the actor, adding, "And that's where sometimes cynicism comes out you think, 'I'm just going to laugh at this stuff'," he was quoted as saying by the New York Post.
Renner continued, "Being accused of things you've not done, right? That doesn't feel good to anybody. It certainly doesn't feel good when you're a celebrity and it's known to everybody."
Renner later shared that Pacheco's claims were not true.
"No, and they happen all the time," he shared. "It's all the salaciousness that happens out there. It's clickbait, and it hurts my feelings, and it dehumanises people," he said.
The Oscar nominee also explained that he ignored the public's reaction when the allegations first emerged.
"It doesn't matter to me what people say," the Avengers star said. "They're saying it for their own reasons and not for the right reasons or the truth. And I'm used to that, because I'm a public figure. I don't read people's reviews, I don't read people's comments. I don't care. That's not part of my life."
Renner and Pacheco were married for ten months before the model filed for divorce in December 2014.
During their subsequent custody battle over daughter Ava, now 12, Pacheco claimed Renner threatened to kill her and once stuck a gun in his mouth and shot into the ceiling while Ava was in her room, according to TMZ.
She also accused Renner of illegal substance abuse and leaving them on a bathroom counter where Ava could reach.
However, he denied all of Pacheco's allegations at the time.
Pacheco fought for sole custody of Ava, but she and Renner currently have joint custody.
"Her mom and I get along very well, and we're in each other's lives," he shared. "It's lovely."
Renner also shared that his relationship with his ex-wife is "no one's business."
"It's great," he said. "She's got a new baby and she sends me beautiful pictures."
Pacheco welcomed her daughter Wylder with hockey player Nate Thompson in March 2023.

Malhaar Ensemble to represent UAE-India cultural legacy at New York's Carnegie Hall

Dubai's Malhaar Ensemble will perform at the Stern Auditorium/ Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, New York, on July 19. The performance is part of the sixth New York Big Apple Music Festival, a prestigious gathering of global artistic talent. Malhaar will present A Tune of Harmony – Celebrating UAE's Unity in Diversity, a 30-minute, multi-sensory production that bridges ancient Indian traditions with the UAE's multicultural spirit. Featuring 30 performers—including lead vocalists, Indian classical musicians, Kathak dancers, and a children's choir, the performance is directed by Jogiraj Sikidar, founder of Malhaar. The original score is composed by Malhaar Guru Deborshee Mukherjee, with Kathak choreography by Druhi Dangi. 'This isn't just a performance — it's a cultural statement,' Sikidar said in a statement. 'From the heart of Dubai to the halls of Carnegie, we are telling the story of tolerance, creativity, and the cultural soul of the UAE.' Structured in three thematic acts — Raag Bhairavi-based chants, Bengali folk traditions, and a contemporary Sufi Qawwali fusion — the presentation offers an evocative journey across India's musical diversity, anchored in the inclusive values of the UAE. The festival lineup includes acclaimed groups such as the United Nations Singers, Celadon Stars World Orchestra, and the New York International Symphony Orchestra, under the unifying theme Echoes of Humanity: From Origins to Unity. The event will be attended by global diplomats, dignitaries, and cultural ambassadors. Joining as lead vocalist is Dr Somdutta Singh, Dubai-based entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Assiduus Global Inc., who will be performing alongside her guru, Jogiraj Sikidar. 'In the chaos of building global businesses, Malhaar grounds me,' said Dr Singh. 'Performing at Carnegie Hall with my Guru is not just a dream come true—it's a celebration of heritage, mentorship, and self-discovery.'

Nicolas Cage on why his relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker was short-lived

Actor and film producer Nicolas Cage recently opened up on why his relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker was short-lived. "I cared about Sarah, but I don't think I passed the Mom test," Cage was quoted as saying by People magazine. "I recall sitting down with her and her mother for dinner at the Russian Tea Room, and I don't know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn't hear from her again." His confession came after Parker shared on the Sunday, July 13, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she and Cage dated around the time of their 1992 romantic comedy Honeymoon in Vegas. Cage has been married five times, most recently marrying Riko Shibata in a private Las Vegas ceremony in 2021. The actor, whose real name is Nicolas Kim Coppola, is a father to three children: sons Weston Cage Coppola, 34, whom he shares with actress Christina Fulton; Kal-El Coppola, 19, whom he shares with Alice Kim; and daughter August Francesca Coppola Cage, whom he welcomed with Shibata on September 7, 2022. Cage's ex, Christina Fulton, sued him over their son's alleged attack. Cage is being sued by his ex nearly a year after their adult son allegedly physically attacked her. In court documents, Christina Fulton alleged that Cage ignored their son Weston Coppola Cage's mental health concerns. Weston and Fulton were allegedly involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical on April 28, 2024. At the time, Fulton denied reports that she and her son argued and instead said he experienced a "mental-health crisis" and she was trying to get him to help. In July 2024, Weston was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and then released on bond. Parker has been married to Matthew Broderick since 1997, after having their first date in 1992. They have three children.
