Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Acting Return: ‘It's Different When You're Reprising an Avengers Thing'
Gwyneth Paltrow is set to star in the upcoming A24 film Marty Supreme, a role that sees Paltrow return to the world of movies for the first time in over a decade. This is not counting the MCU, however, which is something she does not count fully.
Speaking to Vanity Fair in a recent interview, Paltrow opened up about what it was like to step back into a role in which the actress would be going all in for. According to Paltrow, the last time she feels like she did that was in 2010's Country Strong, which to her is the last time she was 'laying it all on the line and accessing a kind of vulnerability.'
Despite the comments, Paltrow has appeared in several movies since 2010, including many Marvel Studios projects, like the Iron Man franchise and various Avengers films. However, Paltrow noted that there was a difference in those projects versus something like the upcoming Marty Supreme.
'It's different when you're reprising an Avengers thing,' said Paltrow.

Marty Supreme is co-written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein. The cast also includes enn Jillette, Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Abel Ferrera, and Sandra Bernard. Safdie, Bronstein, and Chalamet serve as producers alongside Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, and A24.
'The movie was rumored to be a biopic about iconoclastic ping-pong player Marty Reisman, and now we're hearing it's not exactly that,' reports from Deadline on the movie read. 'More loosely based. The pic is being billed as a cross between Wolf of Wall Street and Catch Me If You Can.'
Safdie made his feature film directorial debut in 2008 with The Pleasure of Being Robbed. He went on to direct a handful of movies alongside his brother, Benny, including 2017's Good Time and 2019's Uncut Gems. They've since decided to embark on solo projects, as Benny is now working on The Smashing Machine with Dwayne Johnson.

Nintendo's Big Zelda Movie Will Fill Void Left By Avengers: Secret Wars With Tiny Delay
Nintendo's live-action Zelda movie won't be out in March 2027 after all. Instead, the hero of time's journey to the big screen will be delayed until May 2027. The company said it just needs a little 'extra time' to make it good. Less than two months, to be precise. Originally set to release on March 26, 2027, Nintendo's adaptation of The Legend of Zelda will now arrive on May 7, 2027. Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto told fans in the Nintendo Today app that the shift was for 'production reasons.' 'It will be some weeks later than the release timing we originally announced, and we will take the extra time to make the film as good as it can be,' he said. 'Thank you for your patience.' What's notable about this new May launch window? That's actually when Avengers: Secret Wars was originally supposed to come out. However, that new chapter in the MCU was recently delayed until December 2027, with Avengers: Doomsday similarly pushed from spring 2026 to around the holidays. Ultimately, that's good news for Nintendo and Sony, who it's producing the movie with. The Legend of Zelda's live-action debut can now have some room to breath while still joining the pre-summer blockbuster bandwagon. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is also rumored to be coming in 2027. Maybe we'll get another Barbenheimer. Sonelda? Zonic? Is this anything? Despite Nintendo being so transparent with the release schedule nearly two years away, we still don't know anything else about casting or what the movie will be like, including which stories from the games it might incorporate. Director Wes Ball, who helmed 2024's Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, said he wants it to feel somewhat 'grounded.' I hope Link is wearing his iron boots the whole time. . Princess Charlene and Prince Albert's Twins Steal the Show as They Mark Major Royal Milestone
Twins Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella recently turned the landmark age of 10 years old. The two have had many first lately, ranging from their first Holy Communion to a major royal milestone over the weekend. Jacques and Gabriella took part alongside their parents Princess Charlene and Prince Albert in a state visit with French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron, on June turning the milestone age of 10 last December, twins Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco continue to achieve royal firsts—and accomplished another one this week alongside their parents Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. On June 7, the twins were on hand to welcome the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife Brigitte Macron for the Macrons' state visit to Monaco—the first time, per Hello!, that the royal children had taken part in a state visit. The Macrons sweetly chatted with Jacques and Gabriella, and Gabriella thoughtfully presented flowers to the First Lady upon her arrival. The French couple is in Monaco to bolster the 'strong ties' between France and Monaco, Hello! reported. For the occasion Saturday, Charlene understood the assignment and wore a mint Dior jacket and a pair of tan trousers, and later changed to a stunning red gown for a state dinner in the Throne Room of their palace in Monte Carlo. Per Vanity Fair, this was the first time that the royal family of Monaco hosted a state dinner with a French leader in more than 40 years. Though Jacques and Gabriella were present earlier in the day, they didn't attend the state dinner alongside their parents. When speaking to La Gazette de Monaco about which achievements he's been most proud of in his 20-year reign, Albert said, touchingly, 'What I am most proud of is my marriage and my children, first and foremost.' He also added to the Monaco Tribune that his twins 'help keep me young, too. They take some keeping up with.' Turning 10 and being a part of their first state visit aren't Jacques and Gabriella's only milestones lately. They also, per Tatler, recently took part in their first Holy Communion, a significant step for Catholic children like the twins. 'The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them,' Charlene recently said. 'Gabriella is very curious. She is intrigued by the world and life in general.' As for her son, 'he is curious and observant, more reserved,' Charlene said. 'He is naturally very calm.' Charlene also admitted that it was 'difficult to find time to spend one-on-one' with the twosome, which she had found 'essential when you are the parent of twins.' Of the state visit over the weekend, the twins were mentioned for their significant milestone, with the royal family of Monaco writing on social media that 'Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were also present to greet the presidential couple, demonstrating the familial and solemn character of this official reception.' 'This meeting illustrates the continuity of a relationship based on shared values, mutual trust, and a shared willingness to build together answers to great contemporary challenges,' the post continued.
