Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy is lending his voice to Egypt's most iconic landmarks: the Pyramids. Famed for his roles in films like 'Aboud Ala El Hedoud', 'Keda Reda' and 'Asal Iswed', Helmy's all-too-familiar voice is narrating a new mixed-reality experience at the Grand Egyptian Museum, guiding visitors through a reimagined exploration of the Pyramids and ancient Egypt. Using Microsoft's HoloLens headset, the experience layers digital reconstructions over the real-world environment, offering visitors a new perspective of these ancient monuments that practically feels sci-fi.

Tamer Hosny Drops Album "Lena Maad"
Yara Sameh Egyptian singer-actor Tamer Hosny dropped his new album, "Lena Maad" on YouTube and digital music platforms. The album consists of 15 tracks, including a guest appearance from 'The King' Mohamed Mounir, El Waili, and Karim Osama. In the record, the superstar cooperates with a large number of poets and composers, including Amr El Shazly, Sherif Mekawy, Midian, Belal Srour, and Muhammad Aal-Qayati. "Lena Maad" featured many surprises, most notably his writing and composing a number of the songs himself, which gave the label a personal and distinctive character. The album is Hosny's first since 2023's 'Hormone ElSaada'. Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House. During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous. Ever since, Hosny has worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry. He made his acting debut in the 2004 film 'Halet Hob', co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others. Hosny is known for singing 'Kol Mara', 'Bent El Eh' and 'Aktar Haga', and for his roles in films such as 'Omar and Salma' and 'Captain Hema'. Ahmed Dawood & Mirna Gamil Star in New Film 'El Crush'
The screenplay comes from Loay El Sayed, with direction by Mahmoud Karim and production by New Century—setting the stage for a character-driven rom-com. Jul 16, 2025 Ahmed Dawood and Mirna Gamil are teaming up for the first time in a new Egyptian romantic comedy titled 'El Crush'. The film explores modern-day relationships and the emotional rollercoasters that come with them. Shereen Reda is also set to appear in the film, with more cast announcements expected soon. Written by Loay El Sayed and directed by Mahmoud Karim, 'El Crush' is produced by New Century under the supervision of producer Zeid El Kurdi. While not much else has been confirmed, what we do know is that the movie is scheduled to begin filming in the coming weeks.

Beyoncé's Unreleased Music Stolen during 'Cowboy Carter' Tour Stop in Atlanata
Rana Atef On Tuesday, it was reported that unreleased music by Beyoncé was among several items stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta days before her Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city, authorities confirmed. Hard drives containing the unreleased songs, show plans, and past and future set lists for her tour were among the items stolen from a rental car used by Beyoncé's choreographer and one of her dancers, according to a police report. The theft took place on 8 July, two days before Beyoncé's first Atlanta performance. Atlanta police say an arrest warrant has been issued, but the suspect's name has not been made public. Choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue told police they had parked the rented black Jeep Wagoneer and gone inside a nearby food hall. When they returned, the vehicle's rear window had been smashed and two suitcases were missing, a police incident report states. They told police they were "carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé" in the vehicle that was also stolen. That included "five jump drives containing watermarked music, unreleased music, footage plans for shows past and future, and set list", the report states. Other items reported stolen included a laptop, designer clothes and Apple AirPods. Authorities used tracking information on the laptop and headphones to track where the items may have gone, the police report notes. Authorities also dusted the vehicle for any fingerprints and discovered "two very light prints".
