Couple abandon child at Barcelona airport to avoid missing flight
According to the Spanish newspaper 20 Minutes, the strange incident was first revealed by one of the Barcelona airport's employees, Lilian, who expressed her anger towards the parents who abandoned their child.
The employee took to TikTok in anger with a video titled "Limazine," where she revealed all the details regarding the incident. She said, "I am an aviation coordinator, I have seen many things at work, but this crossed the line, it was completely surreal."
Lilian added that the typical flight procedure went smoothly until the crew suddenly stopped the plane from taking off after the child was spotted on his own inside Barcelona's El Prat Airport. This prompted the airport workers to contact the police, who questioned the child.
The 10-year-old child later told the police that his parents were on board the plane in question. He later revealed that his parents had abandoned him because his passport had expired and required a visa to enter their next destination.
Lilian added to 20 Minutes that the parents attempted to justify their actions by stating that they contacted a family member to come pick up the child from the airport. The parents are currently under investigation for child neglect. By the time of reporting, the ethnicity of the couple remains unknown.

Barcelona open disciplinary proceedings against ter Stegen - Jordan News
Barcelona have opened disciplinary proceedings against Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who has reportedly declined to authorize the club to share the details of his recent lower back surgery and recovery timeline with La Liga's medical commission. This has effectively stalled Barcelona's efforts to classify his injury as long-term, which would have allowed them to temporarily offload 80 per cent of his salary from their wage bill and register a new player. اضافة اعلان According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona had intended to register Joan Garcia as a short-term replacement for Ter Stegen under La Liga's injury exception rule. However, without formal medical documentation submitted and approved, the club cannot proceed with his registration. This has put Garcia's immediate future in limbo, a situation the club feels could have been avoided had Ter Stegen granted permission to share the necessary documents. With the situation now reaching a stalemate, Barcelona have turned the matter over to its legal department. Club lawyers are currently assessing whether disciplinary measures can be taken against Ter Stegen for what is viewed internally as non-cooperation that could be detrimental to the team. If legal advisors give the green light, formal disciplinary proceedings will be launched. These could potentially result in sanctions, but any action would still require final approval from the board of directors.
