Dubai actress Edin Rose confesses her love for Shreyas Iyer in a viral interview, saying she feels 'already married' to the cricketer and admires him deeply.
In a revelation that has set social media ablaze, Dubai-born actress and reality TV star Edin Rose has made an emotional confession about her feelings for Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer — a declaration that's equal parts bold and heartfelt.
Speaking in a recent interview with Filmygyan, the Bigg Boss 18 alumna shared that her admiration for the Punjab Kings captain runs deeper than the average celebrity crush. 'I believe I'm the mother of his kids," she declared without hesitation. 'In my mind, I'm already married to him."
Her words, tinged with sincerity and whimsy, have sent the internet into a frenzy, especially among fans of both Rose and Iyer. While the cricketer has made no public statements in response, Edin's unabashed confession has already begun to fuel a growing buzz about a potential spark between the two.
Edin, who grew up in Dubai, has always embraced her multicultural roots — a background that's helped her connect with audiences across geographies. Her affection for Shreyas Iyer, known for his disciplined style of play and composed presence on the field, is a meeting point of cultures and personalities. 'He inspires me every day," she said. 'It's his humility, his focus, and the way he carries himself — those are the things I find truly admirable."
The candid confession may have been spontaneous, but it's clearly something Edin has held close to her heart for a while. With fans now speculating about whether this one-sided admiration could ever turn into something more, the digital space has become a melting pot of memes, ship names, and enthusiastic encouragement.
Though there's been no indication from Shreyas Iyer that he's even aware of the actress' feelings, her declaration has sparked curiosity about what comes next — a fan fantasy, a media moment, or maybe something more.
Either way, Edin Rose has put her heart on the line — and in doing so, she's added a romantic twist to India's cricket season that no one saw coming.

Netflix's Ted Sarandos reflects on India launch, questions timing of Sacred Games: 'The addressable market is growing'

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has admitted he may have misjudged the company's launch strategy in India, saying that releasing Sacred Games as the first Indian original may not have been the ideal starting point. Speaking about Netflix's slower-than-expected growth in the Indian market, Sarandos to Nikhil Kamath on the latter's podcast, 'It took us a couple of years to get the product-market fit right. Our very first Indian original show was Sacred Games. And I thought, 'This is going to be great. People in India love movies. This is a TV show that feels as big as a movie, it has movie stars.'' He went on to reflect on the cultural gap and said, 'What's interesting about it is that it was very, very novel, but what I didn't understand was that we were introducing a brand new kind of entertainment in a country the size of India.' Sarandos admitted that, in hindsight, he might have taken a different approach. 'If I did it all over again, would I have done Sacred Games a couple of years later, and did things that were more populist instead? Maybe.' Despite the challenges, he remains optimistic about the future. 'We knew that India was going to be a slower journey to get to where we wanted to get to. But it's a great prize, at the end of the day. The addressable market is growing in the next couple of years in India, so it's exciting,' he said. 'Sacred Games' follows Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan), a troubled Mumbai police officer who receives a cryptic call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), warning him to save the city within 25 days. The series, developed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, was based on Vikram Chandra's novel and became Netflix's first original Indian series. Development began in 2014, after Netflix VP Erik Barmack approached Motwane to create Indian content.

Sonali Bendre recalls visiting Babulnath Temple and Siddhivinayak Temple with Coldplay's Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson: ‘She's such a lovely person'

When British singer Chris Martin of Coldplay visited India earlier this year, it wasn't just his music that stole hearts. Alongside Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson , the duo surprised fans by exploring the spiritual side of Mumbai. They were joined by Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre and 'Swades' star Gayatri Oberoi during their quiet yet meaningful visit to some of the city's most iconic temples. Before Coldplay's big concerts at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18 and 19, Chris and Dakota paid a special visit to the Babulnath Temple. Photos and videos of the couple offering prayers along with Sonali and Gayatri quickly went viral, showing them soaking in the spiritual vibe. Sonali recalls taking Dakota and Chris to Mumbai's famous temples In her interview with ANI, Sonali Bendre fondly remembered the moment she was asked to join the group on their spiritual journey. She said, "She's (Dakota) such a lovely person. It was my yoga teacher who told me that, you know what, somebody is coming in and they want to be taken to a few temples. Will you do this? I'm like, okay, who is it? And that's how I get to know. So I think Chris and her (Dakota) wanted to have a temple experience. And I think that's an experience everybody should have at some point. It was lovely. With her (and Chris), we had visited Babulnath Temple. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like NYC Hotel Smartphone Booking | Bookmark Now! | New York City Hotel Booking | Mill Canyon Road Click Here Undo And then the next day, we visited Siddhivinayak Temple." From their dress to their demeanour, Chris and Dakota were seen fully embracing Indian customs. At the Babulnath Temple, they offered prayers, and the next day, the group went to Siddhivinayak Temple, one of Mumbai's most famous religious spots. Dakota wore traditional attire and was seen chatting happily with Sonali and Gayatri as they walked through the temple grounds. Break-up rumours surround Chris and Dakota While their temple visits showed a peaceful side, Chris and Dakota's relationship has been in the news for other reasons. Reports say they have split. A source told PEOPLE magazine, 'It feels final this time.' Neither Chris nor Dakota's teams have commented on this. Earlier in 2024, it was said that the couple had been engaged for years but were not rushing to marry. When rumours of a breakup started in August 2024, Dakota's representative said they were 'happily together.' A source added, 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now. They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can.' In June 2024, it was reported they had 'ups and downs, but now they're definitely back on.' So far, Chris and Dakota have not spoken about the recent split rumours. 'Don't step out after...': This batter paid a huge price for not listening to Rohit Sharma, got mugged during...

Rohit Sharma with Team India. (PIC - X) New Delhi: A big revelation has been made about the star batsman of the Indian cricket team. Actually, this experienced batsman was robbed in 2012. This incident did not happen in India, but in the West Indies, which was revealed years later. Actually, this cricketer is the legendary test batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who is currently out of Team India. Recently, during the launch of his wife Pooja Pujara's book 'The Diary of a Cricketer's Wife', Rohit Sharma narrated the story of how Pujara had to pay a heavy price for not agreeing. Actually, this incident happened during the Indian cricket team's tour of the West Indies in 2012. At that time Pujara was a part of the India-A team, when the team was in Trinidad and Tobago, he was robbed. During the book launch, Rohit asked Pujara about this incident of 2012, 'I haven't told. I mean, she is aware but she doesn't know the details. I am a vegetarian. So we were looking for a vegetarian meal at night. It was in TNT (Trinidad and Tobago) where we went out at 11 in the evening. We didn't find the meal but when we were walking back, I was mugged. I can't tell you in detail about it but that's the story he is referring to.' Rohit Sharma said that he had advised Pujara not to leave the hotel after 9 pm, because some areas of West Indies are not considered safe at night. Rohit told that Pujara had to go out to eat at night. Rohit said, 'Moral of the story is that he can be stubborn. We told him. We warned him not to go out in the night. Don't step out after 9 PM. This is the West Indies.' Both his ACL were gone. For any cricketer, leave alone if you are not an athlete or not playing any sport, for a sportsman it's very, very tough if you lose both your ACL,' Rohit Sharma said. 'We used to tease him about his running technique and all that but he managed to play more than 100 Test matches for India after that, a lot of credit goes to him for how he managed it. Great amount of dedication and passion he had to play the sport,' Rohit Sharma added.
