Jacob Fatu to Defend US Title in Fatal 4-Way Contest in 2025 Backlash

Rana Atef
Early Saturday, WWE added a new match to its WWE Backlash card. Newly crowned US Champion Jacob Fatu will defend his title for the first time in a Fatal 4-Way match.
The match was decided after the #1 contender for the US title match was interrupted during the Friday Night SmackDown (May 2, 2025 episode).
It was revealed in a backstage segment when Fatu and Solo Sikoa were talking with General Manager Nick Aldis. Aldis.
Aldis decided that "The Samoan Werewolf" will put his title on the line in a fatal four-way match against Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, and LA Knight.
Priest got involved in the match that saw former US Champion Knight take on McIntyre, who showed himself in the title picture after his WrestleMania Sin City Street Fight victory over Priest.
Priest pulled McIntyre out of the ring, causing the disqualification and awarding the victory to "The Scottish Warrior."
Following the match, Fatu showed up and attacked Knight and Priest.
Fatu captured the title, his first singles gold in WWE, from Knight at WrestleMania 41.
Backlash will take place next Sunday (Cairo time) at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
The event will be headlined by all-time-classic between John Cena and Randy Orton for the WWE Champion.

Fernandes Declines Al Hilal Offer, Decides Old Trafford Stay

Rana Atef Manchester United striker Bruno Fernandes turned down Saudi Al Hilal's offer and decided to stay with Manchester United. Al Hilal are exploring a deal for the Portugal midfielder as they looked to make the signing before the FIFA Club World Cup, but Fernandes said at Portugal's conference on Tuesday that he wanted to stay at the highest level and play in "big competitions." Fernandes said in the press conference: "I will respond and ask that you not ask me about this anymore," adding: "There was that possibility, the president of Al Hilal called me a month ago to ask me about it. I took some time to think about the future. As I have always said, I would be willing, if Man United thought so. I spoke to coach Ruben Amorim, who, throughout this period, urged me not to go. "The club [United] said they would not be willing to sell me, only if I wanted to leave, that it was not a financial issue. It was a very ambitious proposal." According to ESPN sources familiar with negotiations, Al Hilal would pay around £100 million ($135m) for Fernandes and put together a package that would have significantly increased his salary. The Portagues star, the 30-year-old decided stay at Old Trafford, where he is under contract until 2027. "The president was a spectacular person, we never talked about money [initially]," Fernandes added. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan

Top 2025 Summer Fashion Trends: Dark Colors & Unconventional Cuts

Pasant Elzaitony The summer fashion trends for this season are defined by sophisticated and standout details. Dresses, skirts, pants, and tank tops are seen everywhere. However, what truly sets this season apart is how these pieces are paired together. The '90s trend is making a comeback, particularly with the look of pants under dresses and skirts which is an iconic '90s fashion statement. • Unconventional Colors Summer is usually known for its bright, light colors, but this season dark tones are making a bold statement. Shades like brown and burgundy are among the top used colors for the summer palette, along with deep navy blue. At the same time, pastel hues remain popular, and all shades of yellow are trending, from soft butter yellow to vibrant canary. Floral tones, from pink to fuchsia, are also in vogue, alongside enchanting shades of green. • Standout Prints This summer brings prints typically reserved for winter, like large and small plaids, into the spotlight. Stripes, both vertical and horizontal, are also trending, along with polka dots. Animal prints, such as leopard, zebra, and snake, are prominent too. Just choose one pattern and incorporate it into your look whether it's a bag, belt, pants, or a top. • Unconventional Details It seems fashion designers are determined to break out of their comfort zones and take 2025 fashion into bolder, more experimental territory. One striking design features one pant leg and one skirt side in a single piece. Ruffles (seen in dreamy, flowing dresses) are also making a strong comeback. Finally, shine this summer, express your style freely, and mix and match from your wardrobe in a way that reflects your unique personality.
