WWE Smackdown May 30: Naomi beats Nia Jax and Jade Cargill to qualify for Money in the Bank 2025

Naomi is one step closer to championship glory after earning her place in the Women's Ladder Match at Money in the Bank 2025. The former Women's Champion delivered a big win on Friday Night SmackDown, defeating Nia Jax and Jade Cargill in a triple threat match. The win means Naomi will now compete in Los Angeles on June 7 at the Intuit Dome, where one woman will grab the briefcase and get a title opportunity. It was an emotional night for Naomi, who had an intense moment with Bianca Belair to open the show. Despite the personal drama, she stepped into the ring with a clear goal, and by the end of the night, she had reached it. Naomi escapes the chaos and finds a way to secure victory GAME OVER!Naomi just stole the win and qualified for #MITB! 🪜#SmackDown The match itself was filled with heavy blows and close calls. Naomi started fast, but a leg drop from Nia Jax nearly ended her chances early. Jade Cargill took over after the break and landed a big spinebuster, followed by a Jaded on Naomi. But Nia Jax broke the pin just in time. In the final moments, Jax stacked both opponents in the corner and climbed for a double Annihilator. But Naomi moved out of the way just in time. She used Jax's momentum against her and caught her in a crucifix pin for the win. With the victory, Naomi joins Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Alexa Bliss in the Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match. One final spot remains, and it will be filled this Monday on Raw when Stephanie Vaquer debuts in a triple threat qualifier against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile. Naomi now has her eyes on the briefcase hanging high above the ring in Los Angeles.

Jacob Fatu to Defend US Title in Fatal 4-Way Contest in 2025 Backlash

Rana Atef Early Saturday, WWE added a new match to its WWE Backlash card. Newly crowned US Champion Jacob Fatu will defend his title for the first time in a Fatal 4-Way match. The match was decided after the #1 contender for the US title match was interrupted during the Friday Night SmackDown (May 2, 2025 episode). It was revealed in a backstage segment when Fatu and Solo Sikoa were talking with General Manager Nick Aldis. Aldis. Aldis decided that "The Samoan Werewolf" will put his title on the line in a fatal four-way match against Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, and LA Knight. Priest got involved in the match that saw former US Champion Knight take on McIntyre, who showed himself in the title picture after his WrestleMania Sin City Street Fight victory over Priest. Priest pulled McIntyre out of the ring, causing the disqualification and awarding the victory to "The Scottish Warrior." Following the match, Fatu showed up and attacked Knight and Priest. Fatu captured the title, his first singles gold in WWE, from Knight at WrestleMania 41. Backlash will take place next Sunday (Cairo time) at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will be headlined by all-time-classic between John Cena and Randy Orton for the WWE Champion. read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 ..
