Probe Gold Intersects Grades Up to 11.7 g/t Au Over 4.0 Metres in Infill Drilling at Novador Project, Quebec
Courvan Trend infill drilling results intersected near-surface gold zones with significant grades up to 8.7 g/t Au over 6 metres (cut) including 50 g/t Au over 1.0 metres and an intersection of 7.2 g/t Au over 6 metres.
The recently completed 50,000-metre winter infill drilling program was designed to support the upcoming 2025 Pre-Feasibility Study, which is expected by year-end.
TORONTO, July 22, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Probe Gold Inc. (TSX: PRB) (OTCQB: PROBF) ('Probe' or the 'Company'), is pleased to provide the latest results from the Novador in-fill drill program on its 100%-owned Novador property (the 'Property') located near Val-d'Or, Quebec. The 50,000-metre winter infill drill program, initiated during the fall of 2024, was designed to support the 2025 pre-feasibility study. Results from thirty-six (36) infill drill holes, totaling 8,202 metres, have returned significant gold intercepts from near-surface to approximately 200 metres vertical depth in the Bussiere and Creek deposit areas. (see figure 1 and table of selected drill results below).
David Palmer, President and CEO of Probe, states, 'The infill drilling program at Novador continues to deliver strong results, confirming mineral continuity and underscoring meaningful expansion potential along strike and at depth at Courvan. These winter drill results will play a critical role in supporting resource conversion and will be incorporated into the upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study, an important step forward in advancing Novador toward development. We're making steady progress across key areas, including permitting, resource growth, and mine plan optimization. Backed by a strong treasury, we remain fully committed to positioning Novador as a top-tier gold development project.'
These latest in-fill drilling results will continue to enhance our 3D models with the addition of new high-grade intercepts at Creek. The Courvan Creek Zone remains open for significant expansion along strike and at depth.

(1) All the new analytical results reported in this release and in this table, are presented in core length and cut to 50 g/t Au when needed. True width is estimated between 65 to 95 % of core length. Only grade times thickness above 10.0 g/t Au * m is reported.
Figure 1: Courvan Area Surface Map – Courvan Gold Trend new drilling resultsMineralization along the Courvan trend, including Bussiere Mine and Creek sectors, is characterized by a series of shallow-dipping East-West gold-bearing veins spatially associated with shear zones that intersect the Bourlamaque granodiorite batholith. The veins encountered containing gold are primarily composed of sulphide-bearing quartz-carbonate-tourmaline, and gold is typically associated with centimetre-scale pyrite masses within the veins. Gold mineralization intersected in the volcanics is associated with a shear zone and sulphide-bearing quartz-carbonate-tourmaline veins. The Bussiere deposit remains open laterally and at depth.

Quality Control
During the last drilling program, assay samples were taken from the NQ core by sawing the drill core in half, with one-half sent to a certified commercial laboratory and the other half retained for future reference. A strict QA/QC program was applied to all samples, which includes insertion of mineralized standards and blank samples for each batch of 20 samples. The gold analyses were completed by fire-assayed with an atomic absorption finish on 50 grams of materials. Repeats were carried out by fire-assay followed by gravimetric testing on each sample containing 3.0 g/t gold or more. Total gold analyses (Metallic Sieve) were carried out on the samples which presented a great variation of their gold contents or the presence of visible gold.

Veteran trader highlights crypto miner after Google deal
Veteran trader highlights crypto miner after Google deal originally appeared on TheStreet. TheStreet Pro's Stephen Guilfoyle knows what you're thinking. The veteran trader recently turned his attention to TeraWulf () , which saw its stock skyrocket on Aug. 14. 💵💰Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter 💰💵 "Sarge, isn't Terawulf a cryptocurrency mining operation?" he wrote. "Yes, but that said, the firm is transitioning into something bigger and potentially far more consequential than that." Guilfoyle said TeraWulf has pivoted toward providing infrastructure to so-called hyperscalers, the large cloud service providers offering massive computing power and storage capacity, with a focus on AI-related workloads. "In short, the firm is likely trying to position itself as a competitor to CoreWeave () ," he said, referring to the AI cloud-computing startup. Founded in 2021, TeraWulf said on its website that it provided 'domestically produced bitcoin by using more than 90% zero carbon energy today.' Wall Street trader cites TeraWulf deals Guilfoyle, whose career dates back to the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in the 1980s, said Terawulf reached two 10-year agreements with AI cloud platform company Fluidstack to supply high-performance computing clusters to large cloud providers. Google parent Alphabet () has agreed to provide funding of $1.8 billion to help finance this project. In return, Alphabet received warrants to acquire roughly 41 million shares of TeraWulf that would amount to an 8% stake when exercised. More Experts Stocks & Markets Podcast: Sectors to Avoid With Jay Woods Trader makes bold call with Boeing stock after defense workers strike Veteran fund manager sends urgent 9-word message on stocks "These are truly a game changer for TeraWulf," Chief Financial Officer Patrick Fleury told analysts during the second-quarter earnings call. "The Fluid Stack lease and Google support agreement are carefully structured to enhance our credit profile and position us to scale quickly." TeraWulf's stock has surged 55.4% this year and skyrocketed 144% from this time in 2024. TeraWulf beat Wall Street's quarterly earnings expectations, with revenue increasing 34% year-over-year to $47.6 million. The company cited a higher average bitcoin price and expanded mining capacity, offset partly by expected headwinds from increased network difficulty and the April 2024 halving, where bitcoin reduced the block reward by 50%. "My target price is around $9.50," Guilfoyle said. "This is a trade, not an investment, and I expect to be flat the name by the closing bell should short-term traders take profits en masse on Friday." Clear Street analyst Brian Dobson raised the investment firm's price target on TeraWulf to $12 from $9 and affirmed a buy rating on the shares, according to The Fly. The colocation agreements with Fluidstack, supported by Google's $1.8 billion lease backstop and equity stake, and 80-year ground lease at the Cayuga site in New York, "materially enhance" TeraWulf's long-term growth profile, the analyst said. The firm upped its 2027 Ebitda estimate to reflect TeraWulf's expanding high performance computing portfolio. It sees potential upside to its outlook as it does not consider new business wins. Adding Fluidstack as a client, along with Google's commitment, "will create significant momentum and increase the likelihood of additional contract wins going forward," Dobson contended. Analyst says TeraWulf likely to exit mining Citizens JMP analyst Greg Miller raised the firm's price target on TeraWulf to $13 from $7 and maintained an outperform rating on the reported solid Q2 results, underscoring progress in its strategic pivot toward high-performance computing hosting, the analyst said. The company is likely to exit mining by the next halving event, and it retains the flexibility to redeploy mining capacity toward HPC, aligning with customer demand trends, the firm says. Analysts have noted a shift from bitcoin mining to AI data centers, as both require huge amounts of electricity. A report by the International Energy Association said that electricity demand from data centers worldwide is set to more than double by 2030 to around 945 terawatt-hours, slightly more than the entire electricity consumption of Japan today. "Hyperscalers with generative AI needs are particularly interested in converting to bitcoin mining data centers due to the substantial power requirements and the urgency of deployment timelines," Prakash Vijayan, a senior analyst with Driehaus Capital Management, wrote in November. Vijayan said generative AI applications demand immense computational power and energy, often 10 times more than standard operations. "Bitcoin mining data centers are equipped with advanced cooling systems and have access to cheap, substantial energy sources," he said. "This presents an ideal solution for these needs." By repurposing existing bitcoin mining facilities, Vijayan said, hyperscalers can significantly reduce timelines and meet the growing demand for AI services more efficiently. "Given these trends, bitcoin miners are increasingly transitioning to AI data centers as a strategic move to diversify their revenue streams and leverage their existing infrastructure," he trader highlights crypto miner after Google deal first appeared on TheStreet on Aug 16, 2025 This story was originally reported by TheStreet on Aug 16, 2025, where it first appeared. CNIB's Calgary housing plan for the sight-impaired starting to come together
Plans are shaping up for a unique, affordable housing development designed with innovative technology for the sight-impaired northeast of Calgary's downtown. The CNIB Foundation's development in the Bridgeland-Riverside neighbourhood will feature three towers and construction is expected to take about 10 years, Anthony Imbrogno said. Imbrogno, director of the Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association's planning committee, has been speaking with the non-profit CNIB and developers about the project and said he is optimistic the development will benefit the community. "They're excited to put the CNIB on a firmer footing in terms of its place in the community," he said. City council approved the CNIB's proposal to redevelop the land along 10 11A street N.E. last April. The three residential towers include upgrades to the CNIB's existing facility. The tallest tower will be 27 stories, while the others will reach 15 and 12 stories. "All of that's to be fully decided in the future, but when they did an open house for residents, that was sort of where their project was going," Imbrogno said. He noted that the CNIB has partnered with former Calgary mayor Dave Bronconnier, who was involved in development plans for downtown's East Village. Last year, the CNIB said the development would add roughly 400 residential units, designed primarily for people who are blind, Deafblind or have low vision. In a statement to CBC News, the CNIB said the development would be "a first-of-its-kind community, designed from the ground up to be fully inclusive." "Development permits have been approved, and our development partner is finalizing costing and plans to ensure the project delivers the accessibility, sustainability and community features we've committed to," the CNIB said, adding it does not expect construction to start this fiscal year. The development plans do raise some concerns Imbrogno said, noting the proposed height of the towers is something to consider. "If you go way out to Point Mckay, there's two 20-storey towers and everything between basically Deerfoot and there doesn't go over 15," Imbrogno said. "This building now pops that up — we were a little bit skeptical if that was necessary." Another issue Imbrogno has communicated to developers is offsetting the new densification of the area with improved spaces for the community — what's known as a density bonus, but has only been seen downtown. "The rules don't have density bonusing for Bridgeland, so what's going to happen to the bike lane that goes through there? Why not give some kind of more green space perhaps?" Imbrogno said. Ward 9 Councillor Gian-Carlo Carra echoed a similar sentiment about how the new development will integrate with the existing community. He said he "butted heads" with the project because he felt it could better align with the East Riverside Master Plan. The plan covers the area south of Centre Avenue N.E. and east of 9 Street N.E. — where the CNIB project would be situated. Part of the master plan's vision was to increase density in the area while improving connections in and around the neighbourhood. Carra said he feels the redevelopment plan does not integrate with the surrounding pedestrian and park pathway systems, or the 12 Street N.E. bridge connecting the community to Memorial Drive. "It's not to my liking in terms of achieving a more integrated, connected vision for the neighborhood, but it is a step forward in terms of delivering housing," Carra said. In their statement, the CNIB said the project is a top priority for them, and they are committed to designing communities where everyone feels they can belong. Both Imbrogno and Carra said despite their concerns, the project is an important step forward for affordable housing in the community, especially when it comes to improving accessibility for those with disabilities. "I am pleased that we are seeing more housing in one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in the city," Carra said.

Air Canada Shuts Down as Flight Attendants Strike
Air Canada, the largest carrier in Canada, shut down early Saturday morning as thousands of flight attendants went on strike. The carrier had entered a 72-hour lockout period this week and started winding down operations to prepare. The strike will disrupt thousands of flights and potentially leave thousands of passengers stranded. Air Canada and its low-cost affiliate, Air Canada Rouge, fly around 130,000 customers a day. The carrier accounts for around 48% of the country's domestic capacity, according to data from Cirium. Air Canada is the only major carrier in the country with an extensive international network. United Airlines, which has a codeshare with Air Canada, iss
