Main Hoon Naa Clip With Suniel Shetty's ‘No Peace' With Pakistan Comment Viral
The viral video clip from the 2004 film shows the two characters having a heated argument over India's relationship with Pakistan.
Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following Pakistan's attempt to target Indian military installations in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur using drones and missiles, an old clip from a 2004 film is going viral.
The scene from Main Hoon Naa, starring Shah Rukh Khan as Major Ram and Suniel Shetty as ex-army major Raghavan Dutta, is going viral. In the viral video clip, the two characters are having a heated argument over India's relationship with Pakistan. Major Ram says, 'Pakistan bhi humara saath de raha hai." To this, Raghavan strongly replies, 'Humara yahi bholapan es desh ko le doobega."
Ram then says, 'Nahi, Raghavan. Tum jaise log is desh ko le dooboge jo sirf nafrat karna jaante ho, khoon bahana jaante ho. Jise hinsa ki itni aadat ho gayi hai ki aman ke naam se bhi dar lagta hai. Lekin aman hoga, sulah hogi, dosti bhi hogi."
But Raghavan shuts him, saying, 'Pakistan ke saath dosti nahi hogi Ram, sirf jung hogi. Har ek faisla, Pakistan ki barbaadi. Tab unke haath mein lage khoon ke daag mitenge. Hazaron sipahiyon ka khoon. Mere bete ka khoon, jiska jung se koi lena dena nahi tha, fir kyun mara usko Pakistaniyon ne."
He repeats, 'Pakistan ke saath dosti nahi hogi Ram."
The clip is now grabbing attention, with many saying Bollywood's old message of peace no longer works. The video was shared with the caption: 'Now Indians understand that in Main Hoon Na, Suniel Shetty was right and SRK was damn blind by Aman ki Asha bulls**t."

Another said, 'Both #veerzara and #mainhoona released in 2004 and were soft propaganda movies which tried to show #pakistan on good side and both were super hit. Bollywood mostly shown Pakistan on soft side during 2000s mostly."
'Shetty's line that we are war since 1947 drew applause from the audience in theaters," a person pointed out.
Someone also said, 'My brain can't handle this cognitive dissonance. I liked the same movie from SRK's POV, and now I understand Suniel Shetty's POV."
On Thursday evening, Pakistan once again initiated aggression with drones, but its attempts fell flat against India's defence systems.
Cities and towns in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat experienced blackouts for different periods. Officials issued advisories while assuring people that safety measures were in place.
This attack came after India launched Operation Sindoor under which armed forces destroyed terrorist hubs across nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.
