Pep Guardiola says Manchester City's last two games are ‘massive'
Pep Guardiola has described Manchester City's bid to qualify for the Champions League as 'massive' as he challenged his stars to prove their worth.
City's underwhelming campaign will end without silverware following their 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the final of the FA Cup.
They will now turn their attention to securing a spot in Europe's showpiece tournament with their fate still in their hands.

Victories in their final games of the Premier League season, at home to Bournemouth on Tuesday and at Fulham next weekend, will be enough to secure a place in the top five.
However, City will head into their next match at the Etihad outside of the qualification spots in sixth, albeit with a game in hand over their rivals.
Asked to quantify the importance of being in the Champions League, Guardiola said: 'It is obvious. Ask the same question to Arsenal, or Chelsea, or Nottingham Forest or Newcastle. Of course it is important. It is massive.
'We have to come back and we have to recover quickly. Yes, it is better to play against Bournemouth having won the FA Cup because victories help winning, but now we have to prove how strong we are.
'And from my point of view, we have two massively important games for the short-term future of this club.'
City started this season bidding to win a fifth consecutive Premier League title. It would have appeared unfathomable that they would end the season scrambling for a Champions League spot.
Ruben Dias continued: 'These last two games are like two massive finals, and they mean everything to us.
'We will feel however we have to feel today (after City's defeat to Palace), but tomorrow wake up strong and ready to go again.
'We controlled the game, and had a lot of chances but we didn't turn those chances into goals, and we only have ourselves to blame. We must do better.'

Thomas Frank appointed new Tottenham head coach on three-year deal after club paid hefty release clause to lure him from Brentford and replace sacked Ange Postecoglou
Thomas Frank has been confirmed as Tottenham 's new head coach on a three-year contract. Frank is moving across London after nine years at Brentford to succeed Ange Postecoglou, sacked last Friday, 16 days after his team won the Europa League. 'In Thomas we are appointing one of the most progressive and innovative head coaches within the game,' said a Spurs spokesman. 'He has a proven track record in player and squad development and we look forward to him leading the team as we prepare for the season ahead.' Brentford's director of football Phil Giles issued heartfelt thanks to Frank for his impact on the club he led to promotion in 2021. 'It has been a pleasure working alongside Thomas,' said Giles. 'From the moment he replaced Dean Smith, he understood what we were trying to build and his wisdom, coaching ability and emotional intelligence have helped transform the club. Postecoglou's assistant coaches Mile Jedinak, Nick Montgomery and Sergio Raimundo have all left Spurs with Matt Wells and goalkeeping coach Rob Burch remaining. Postecoglou's success in delivering silverware, which he promised he would, means that the Dane will take charge of Tottenham in the Champions League, and he will want a squad that is able to compete at the top level. Reports had claimed Tottenham were looking to hijack Manchester United's push to sign Frank's golden boy Bryan Mbeumo from his now former club. However, sources have disclosed that Spurs are 'highly unlikely' to enter the race for the forward, who scored 20 goals in the Premier League last term. Last month, Mail Sport's Oliver Holt played a couple of sets of padel at Brentford's Osterley facility with Frank and assistant first-team coach Kevin O'Connor. Man City complete the £34m signing of Rayan Cherki from Lyon - with five-year deal announced just as special transfer window for Club World Cup closed
Manchester City have completed the signing of Rayan Cherki for an initial £30.5m - rising to £34m - fee from Lyon. The France international becomes the club's third addition of the window following the arrivals of Rayan Ait-Nouri and Marcus Bettinelli.
