Joe Burrow isn't holding back about the NFL's 2025 schedule. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is voicing frustration over having to face the Ravens in Baltimore for the fourth straight year — this time on Thanksgiving night — and his criticism has struck a chord with both fans and league officials.
Joe Burrow calls out NFL over Ravens schedule as Bengals head to Baltimore for fourth straight year
For the fourth consecutive year, Joe Burrow and the Bengals will travel to Baltimore to face off against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens — this time on Thanksgiving night in prime time. While the spotlight of a standalone holiday game might excite fans, Burrow is less than thrilled with the repeated road trip.
'Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn't ideal,' Burrow, 28, said during a recent interview, as reported by ESPN.
'Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please.'
Burrow's comments resonated beyond the locker room. Mike North, the NFL's vice president of broadcast planning and scheduling, addressed the quarterback's concerns directly, acknowledging the validity of the complaint.
'It's fair,' North said in an interview with the Bengals' team website. 'Once you start getting to the same thing three years in a row, four, or five years in a row — whether it's a short week Thursday on the road or opening on the road — when trends like that emerge, we probably have to adjust at some point.'
Despite the scheduling gripe, North emphasized that the Thanksgiving night matchup was the result of what the league believed was the best overall schedule. He even joked about the reaction from fans, saying, 'I'm sure the Bengals fans are a little surprised and probably a little disappointed. Which puts them in the same category as all 31 other teams.'
Cincinnati hasn't had much success recently against Baltimore, losing their last three matchups — including a heartbreaking 35–34 loss last season.
Still, the chance to play under the national spotlight carries its own kind of weight.
'Playing on Thanksgiving night in a stand-alone game with the whole world watching, sitting on their couch, is really exciting,' Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told NFL.com. 'It's why you're in this business.'
North, despite acknowledging the flaw, couldn't resist adding a playful note: 'I'm sure Bengals fans would have preferred it in Cincinnati, but it should be fun for you guys to ruin Baltimore's Thanksgiving.'

Whether or not the Bengals can deliver that upset remains to be seen — but Joe Burrow has already made sure the league knows he's ready for a little more home cooking next time.

Throwback: Tom Brady took his 11-year-old son to Snoop Dogg's Super Bowl afterparty

Photo byBefore Tom Brady called it a career, before he stepped into broadcast deals and business ventures, he lived through some unforgettable NFL nights. But one story from after Super Bowl LIII keeps coming back—and it's not about touchdowns or trophies. It's about Snoop Dogg , a pole, an 11-year-old kid, and a father silently praying his son wouldn't tell mom. Yes, really. And years later, the moment still cracks Brady up. Tom Brady's postgame party story is the ultimate NFL dad moment Back in 2019, the New England Patriots had just ground out a gritty 13–3 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII—a title that gave Tom Brady his sixth championship ring. The win may not have been pretty, but the postgame celebrations? Very memorable. Speaking on an episode of his Let's Go! podcast with co-hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, Tom Brady revisited one particular night that didn't go how any parent might plan. 'I actually have a funny story,' he said, launching into a tale that fans haven't stopped quoting since. 'After the game in Atlanta, we were celebrating and Snoop was there. I brought my son—he was 11 at the time—to the afterparty.' The bash was hosted at the team hotel, and Brady, fresh off a championship win, probably thought a little music and dancing wouldn't hurt. But then came the twist. 'There was a pole on stage,' he recalled. And Jack's just sitting there, eyes wide open, music blasting.' So what did Brady do? 'I leaned over and said, 'Jack, cover your eyes.'' But his son wasn't fazed. 'He goes, 'Dad, I'm good. I'm good.'' Classic. Brady laughed, recalling his inner monologue: It's 2 a.m., we're having the time of our life, but if this kid tells his mom, I'm not gonna see him for a long time Despite the moment of mild panic, the memory stuck—in the best way possible. Years later, it's still one of Brady's favorite stories. It's not a moment from a huddle or a postgame presser—but a small, hilarious, slightly chaotic slice of life that shows even football's GOAT isn't immune to awkward dad moments. 'We still talk about it,' Brady said. 'One of the best nights of my life.' Also Read: Why the Pittsburgh Steelers passed on Shedeur Sanders: Mike Tomlin's shocking draft decision explained

Vikings Legend Jim Marshall Dies at 87 After Prolonged Illness: Remembering the NFL ironman and Purple People Eater

Getty Images Before NFL athletes were brands and stats were religion, there was Jim Marshall, a man whose toughness could outlast time itself. The iconic Minnesota Vikings defensive end, known best as a member of the fearsome 'Purple People Eaters,' passed away at 87 after a prolonged illness, the team confirmed on June 3, 2025. He wasn't just a football player, he was the embodiment of resilience, loyalty, and leadership. In a league obsessed with what's next, Marshall reminded everyone what it meant to just show up, week after week, season after season for two straight decades. Jim Marshall: The original NFL Ironman who never missed a game, even once in 20 years Jim Marshall was the definition of consistency. From 1960 to 1979, the man played in 282 straight games, 270 of them as a starter. That streak? It wasn't just an NFL record for a non-kicker, it was an unmatched testament to durability, a mark that stood for 30 years until Brett Favre broke it. But even then, Favre played quarterback. Marshall was crashing into linemen on every snap. He spent 19 of his 20 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, where he became not only a legend on the field but also a spiritual leader in the locker room. Four Super Bowl appearances, 130.5 unofficial sacks (since the stat wasn't even officially tracked in his era), and a career that still feels too big for the stat sheet. From the ' Purple People Eaters ' to community leader, Marshall's impact went far beyond the field Alongside Alan Page, Carl Eller, and Gary Larsen, Marshall anchored one of the most feared defenses in NFL history—the 'Purple People Eaters.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villa For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas in Dubai | Search ads Learn More Undo Their motto? 'Meet at the quarterback.' And more often than not, they did. But his work didn't stop when the final whistle blew. Off the field, Marshall co-founded The Link , a nonprofit that supports at-risk youth in Minnesota. He was a team captain for 14 seasons not because of politics or PR, but because of who he was. He led with his actions, not just his voice. Tributes pour in as Vikings, NFL legends remember a true captain The Minnesota Vikings and former teammates honored Marshall's legacy immediately after the news broke. Alan Page, his fellow Hall of Famer and friend, called him 'the glue that kept us together.' Current players, coaches, and fans also took to social media to share their gratitude and grief. A team statement read, 'Jim Marshall's legacy isn't just about records—it's about the heart and soul he poured into every snap. He was one of one.' Jim Marshall wasn't flashy. He didn't beg for attention. But he got it anyway through heart, hustle, and unmatched grit. In a sport that breaks bodies and shortens careers, he stood tall for 20 straight seasons. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now But it seems like even though Taylor Swift has been spotted in NYC, she might have found her new home in Florida where she was reportedly staying with Travis Kelce as he trained for the upcoming season of the NFL. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were enjoying their lives in Florida together Recently, as per Life & Style, a source has revealed that, 'They're (Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce) living fairly normally here. She hasn't been spotted much, but everyone is buzzing that she's here.' The source also added, 'When they go out to eat or have drinks, people let them be.' This also seems like what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been wanting in the last few months as they had temporarily disappeared from the public eye after Super Bowl LIX where the pop sensation was booed by fans. While Travis Kelce is gearing up for the upcoming season of the NFL, it seems like Taylor Swift has kept herself busy by buying back all the rights to her first six albums. Taylor Swift has not made any announcements about a potential new project Recently, Taylor Swift issued a statement on her Instagram where she spoke about the struggle she went through to own all her music and even gave fans an update about the potential release of Reputation (Taylor's Version). The statement read as, "I know, I know. What about Rep TV? Full transparency. I haven't even re-recorded a quarter of it.' The statement added, 'The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it. All that defiance, that longing to be understood while feeling purposely misunderstood, that desperate hope, that shame-born snarl and mischief." This had upset many fans as many felt that Taylor Swift was working on her new music, as she stayed away from the public and might just be planning to release it soon. For now, Taylor Swift has not announced a new project and as per Daily Mail, a source has revealed that it might not be too long until the star couple make a serious decision about their futures together.
