Photo byBefore Tom Brady called it a career, before he stepped into broadcast deals and business ventures, he lived through some unforgettable NFL nights. But one story from after Super Bowl LIII keeps coming back—and it's not about touchdowns or trophies.
It's about
Snoop Dogg
, a pole, an 11-year-old kid, and a father silently praying his son wouldn't tell mom. Yes, really. And years later, the moment still cracks Brady up.
Tom Brady's postgame party story is the ultimate NFL dad moment
Back in 2019, the
New England Patriots
had just ground out a gritty 13–3 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII—a title that gave Tom Brady his sixth championship ring. The win may not have been pretty, but the postgame celebrations? Very memorable.
Speaking on an episode of his Let's Go! podcast with co-hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,
Tom Brady
revisited one particular night that didn't go how any parent might plan.
'I actually have a funny story,' he said, launching into a tale that fans haven't stopped quoting since. 'After the game in Atlanta, we were celebrating and Snoop was there. I brought my son—he was 11 at the time—to the afterparty.'
The bash was hosted at the team hotel, and Brady, fresh off a championship win, probably thought a little music and dancing wouldn't hurt. But then came the twist. 'There was a pole on stage,' he recalled.

'Some girls were there—fully clothed—but still, there was a pole. And Jack's just sitting there, eyes wide open, music blasting.'
So what did Brady do? 'I leaned over and said, 'Jack, cover your eyes.''
But his son wasn't fazed. 'He goes, 'Dad, I'm good. I'm good.'' Classic.
Brady laughed, recalling his inner monologue: It's 2 a.m., we're having the time of our life, but if this kid tells his mom, I'm not gonna see him for a long time
Despite the moment of mild panic, the memory stuck—in the best way possible.
Years later, it's still one of Brady's favorite stories. It's not a moment from a huddle or a postgame presser—but a small, hilarious, slightly chaotic slice of life that shows even football's GOAT isn't immune to awkward dad moments. 'We still talk about it,' Brady said. 'One of the best nights of my life.'

Taylor Swift says Travis Kelce served her ‘chest hair' on baked bread; singer admits, ‘his loaf tasted better than mine'

Taylor Swift made her podcast debut this week on Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights, and she came ready to talk. The singer opened up about her commercially massive Eras Tour schedule, one that drained her to the bone but also gave her some of her best memories, including how a shared bread-baking obsession has completely taken over her and Travis's downtime. It started when Jason asked her how many countries she toured. 'About 47,000 countries,' Taylor joked. Jason corrected her, saying it was 51 cities, and Taylor admitted she didn't remember the exact number but knew it was 'a lot.' When Taylor and Travis first started dating, the NFL star mentioned how he'd always wanted to travel around Europe, visit Australia, and see Asia. Taylor told him, 'Well, I've got a tour for that.' So Travis joined her, and they got to explore the world together between shows. 'I like hobbies you could've had in the 1700s,' she laughed. The Grammy winner revealed she likes to sew (mainly children's purses and baby blankets), paint, cook, and bake. Right now, she's deep into a sourdough obsession, to the point where she's sending Travis loaves while he's at training camp. The singer revealed she is even experimenting with flavours: blueberry lemon, cinnamon swirl, cinnamon raisin, and a rainbow funfetti sourdough she's been perfecting for her friends' kids. 'I'm texting my friends like, 'Can I send you some bread? Which one do you like better? I changed the rise on this one,' she said. Later, she revealed how Travis got involved in this as well and ended up baking a couple of loaves himself, and one of them actually rose higher and tasted better than Taylor's. However, there was one small problem: 'Why is there chest hair in it?' Taylor asked, laughing. Jason immediately blamed Travis's low apron as the reason behind this. 'There's chest hair in his and cat hair in mine,' Taylor joked. 'Both are completely inedible.' Taylor rattled off a few: 'It's a loaf story, baby, just say yeast' and 'Loafing him was bread.' Even if some of them landed with groans, she kept going. 'I had never experienced something so mesmerising on stage, and then so real and beautiful in person,' said Travis of Taylor's charisma. Jason then joked that he probably should leave now and give the duo some privacy. 'Yeah, I think so, honestly,' Swift replied. 'At this point, I think everyone should leave.' Looking back at the Eras Tour, Taylor says she's glad she trained harder than ever before, so she started the tour with the energy it usually took her months to build. 'I'm not an athlete, so cardio doesn't come naturally,' she admitted. 'But I wanted to be at my best from the first night.'

Taylor Swift turns Jason Kelce's ‘cats are poisonous' joke into a cuddly win, ‘It was my goal to…'

On the latest New Heights episode, Taylor Swift turned a long-running Jason Kelce joke into a mission. The retired NFL center had once told his young daughters that cats are 'poisonous' - a playful quip that didn't go unnoticed by the Grammy winner. 'It was actually a great challenge because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they're not poisonous,' Swift said. Bring out the big guns - or rather, the big fluff. Enter Benjamin Button, Swift's super chill ragdoll cat. 'And there is no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my rag doll cat, who lets humans hold them like he's a baby,' she explained, painting a picture of cuddly feline charm. 'The cats are so good with kids,' Swift added. 'They're like dragging them.' The singer also made her closing argument to the mini Kelce jury: none of her cats had bitten them - and even if they had, 'they wouldn't be poisonous.' The line drew laughs from both Jason and Travis Kelce, sealing the bit as a New Heights highlight. He is the third and latest recruit in Swift's crew, with already existing members Meredith Grey, a Scottish Fold adopted in 2011, and Olivia Benson, another Scottish Fold who joined the family in 2014. Named after characters from popular shows and movies, all three have made frequent cameos on Swift's social media and even in her merch, cementing their place as some of pop culture's most famous pets. Jason Kelce shares four daughters - Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley - with wife Kylie Kelce, and based on Swift's account, Benjamin and his feline siblings have won over the youngest members of the Kelce crew. In the end, the 'poisonous' claim stayed firmly in the realm of brotherly teasing, while Swift scored a flawless victory in cat PR - one cuddle at a time.
