A change is coming: A week of warmer weather will follow this cooler stretch
We won't find Tuesday to be much different than Monday, but the change starts Wednesday, and then we head into a seven-day stretch of warmer weather.
Tuesday will be a lot like Monday—below-normal temperatures, a cool wind out of the north, isolated showers possible (especially in the afternoon) and the chance of late-day, non-severe thunderstorms.

A ridge of high pressure will start to build in on Wednesday.
This will drop our chance of precipitation down to 30 per cent, but temperatures will be back to normal for Wednesday.
The return to the 20s arrives by Thursday.
Expect a seven-day stretch of the warmer weather.

An earlier version of this story reported that Snow Lake was under a mandatory evacuation order per the province's latest fire bulletin. The province has since issued a correction saying the town is still under a voluntary evacuation order. Snow Lake is impacted by the fire burning near Sherridon that is 112,185 hectares in size and out of control. The community has a population of over 1,000 people, according to the latest data from 2021. There are currently 27 active wildfires in Manitoba, and there have been 111 in 2025. Editors note: An earlier version of this story reported that Snow Lake was under a mandatory evacuation order per the province's latest fire bulletin. CTV News contacted the Town of Snow Lake, Man., to verify the information, checked the town's social media and websites and double-checked with the province to see if the evacuation was mandatory after we received the fire bulletin. A provincial spokesperson sent us an email reply that said in part, 'The information in the bulletin is accurate.' The province then sent another email saying they would double-check the information and has since sent out a corrected fire bulletin. We regret publishing their error.

Colleen Bready's Forecast: Smoke continues to linger in Manitoba
Colleen Bready has your current conditions and updated weather forecast for June 4, 2025. Wildfire smoke wafting into Winnipeg Wednesday temporarily prompted Environment and Climate Change Canada to issue a special weather statement for the city. The weather agency issued the alert Wednesday morning before ending it shortly after noon. However, smoke levels may still fluctuate, which could compromise air quality at times. Strong northwest winds carried the smoke plumes from wildfires in northwestern Manitoba into southern regions. A special air quality statement remains in effect for areas east of Winnipeg, while a heightened air quality warning continues just north of the city and in eastern, central, and parts of northwestern Manitoba. However, most areas where wildfires are burning will not see any of that much-needed precipitation, including Flin Flon in the northwest or Nopiming Provincial Park in the southeast. There is a low chance of showers in Lynn Lake Wednesday, after that community saw light rain Tuesday. However, after Wednesday night, there is no meaningful precipitation expected in the province until Friday night, at the earliest, in the northwest. Showers or rain are expected in many parts of the province, including wildfire zones and in Winnipeg, on Saturday and possibly on Sunday.
