Amazon shoppers 'instantly impressed' by 60 second gadget that 'saves boiling kettles'
Amazon customers are singing the praises of a tea making gadget which has garnered over 33,000 reviews. Tea fans will know the joy of a brew first thing in the morning or in the evening to wind down and there's a way to make the whole making process quicker.
The Breville Hot Water Dispenser is topping Amazon's bestseller list in its category with an impressive rating of 4.5 out of five stars - and it's currently on offer, reduced from £69 to just £45.
The nifty appliance can whip up to eight hot drinks in rapid succession, boiling water in mere seconds. It allows for the dispensing of a single cup of hot water without the need to hoist a cumbersome kettle.
As well as making things easier and quicker for whoever is making the tea, it also helps whoever is paying the bills as it aids in cutting down energy usage by dispensing one cup at a time.
A satisfied customer highlighted the time-saving aspect of the dispenser, stating: "Great as it saves boiling kettles. It's quick, looks good, saves money and very convenient...I love it."
The device is also user-friendly, featuring an adjustable drip tray and a permanent limescale filter, reports Plymouth Live.
For those considering other options, the Caso Design HW 660 Turbo Hot Water Dispenser is available at Argos for £104, discounted from £130, boasting a 4.5-star rating on the Argos website.
Additionally, Amazon offers the Zachvo Hot Water Dispenser at a reduced price of £99, down from £118. One customer shared their positive experience with the latter, saying: "I used this hot water dispenser and was instantly impressed."
Meanwhile, one satisfied customer praised the Breville Hot Water Dispenser for its speed. They said: "Brews a single cup of hot water very quickly, usually in less than 60 seconds. So far, I haven't experienced any leaks or issues, which was something others mentioned.

Looking to beat the heat as temperatures continue to rise?
Then look no further than Dunelm's White Rechargeable USB Desk Fan that has an almost perfect five star rating for its small, yet mighty, design that means it works "even on the lowest setting."
Easy to connect via a USB cable that can be connected to laptops and computers, this desk fan is perfect for those who find themselves working from home on these sweaty, humid summer days.
However, it doesn't need to remain plugged-in, as the rechargeable element and compact six-inch design means it can be taken anywhere, even placed on a bedside table overnight on summer nights thanks to its "quiet" operation.
It's finished with four speed settings to choose from and an adjustable angle that can help direct the cool breeze where it is needed, unlike other models that can sometimes be stuck in one place.
As for Dunelm's own mini desk fan, it has received an impressive 4.8 rating from impressed shoppers who say that, despite its size, it is "surprisingly powerful" and "a literal life-saver" during this kind of weather.
One five-star review read: "Fantastic fan, surprisingly powerful, quiet, lasts for quite a long time when charged, very hard to find a decent small rechargeable fan but this is it, will be buying more!"
Beat the heat with Dunelm's White Rechargeable USB Desk Fan that costs just £25.
"After checking my smart meter, I've noticed that I am saving up to £40 or £50 a month. That means it has already paid for itself, which is a great bonus."
However, they did note one issue. They said: "The only small thing to keep in mind is that after making one cup, you may need to wait about 60 seconds before making another."
Someone else found an issue with the noise level. They said: "When it was delivered I was pleased with the way it looked, however when I plugged it in and gave it the initial flush through I was seriously taken aback by the noise it made when the water reached temperature and filled the cup.
"I always get up about an hour or so before my wife and try to be quiet but this was so noisy it would've woken her every morning. It was returned straight away."
But others were impressed with the gadget's user-friendly design compared to hefting a traditional kettle. One reviewer noted: "This water heater is just brilliant! Great for anyone who would struggle to lift a kettle full of water.
"You just put your mug under and press the button. It boiled a mug full of water a lot quicker than boiling a kettle and dispensed it into my waiting mug. I'll honestly never buy another kettle again. Don't hesitate, buy this."

This AI wristband will listen to everything you say
Amazon is in the process of acquiring Bee, a San Francisco-based startup that developed a wearable AI assistant bracelet. The Bee device, launched last year, provides users with personalised summaries of their day, reminders, and suggestions by analysing conversations. Maria de Lourdes Zollo, Bee's CEO, confirmed the acquisition, expressing that it would help bring their 'truly personal, agentic AI to even more customers'. Early reviews of the product have highlighted concerns about its ability to differentiate real-life conversations from online content, alongside potential data privacy issues due to its inbuilt microphones. While Bee states it processes audio in real-time and immediately deletes it without storing or selling data, it is uncertain whether Amazon will maintain these privacy policies given its past actions.

The Lefant M210P Robot Vacuum Cleaner has been reduced by £150, with shoppers saying it 'far exceeded' their expectations Amazon has restocked one of its top-selling robot vacuum cleaners and slashed the price by more than 60%. The Lefant M210P Robot Vacuum Cleaner has been reduced from £239.99 to £89.98 – a discount of £150.01. The device sold out earlier this month and frequently appears on Amazon's best-seller list, currently ranking fifth behind rivals such as the number one eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner (£149.99). However, those opting for the Lefant brand can now enjoy a 63% discount on this vacuum. Designed to automatically collect dust and debris from both carpeted and hard floors. The gadget offers four cleaning modes and can detect when it's cleaning carpet, increasing its suction power for optimal performance. It can also be programmed to clean at specific times via a smartphone app or using Alexa voice control. Its compact design – measuring 28cm in diameter and 7.8cm tall – allows it to clean under furniture, while its anti-collision sensors help it avoid obstacles. The Lefant also has a long-lasting battery that can run for 120 minutes on a single charge and will automatically return to its charging point when it needs to recharge. Additionally, its 500ml dust bin capacity means it can hold more waste, reducing its cleaning time. However, unlike competitor models like the Shark Matrix Plus (£399.99) or Hoover HG4 Robot Vacuum Cleaner (£249), the Lefant does not offer the ability to map areas for cleaning on the app, reports the Express. For those content to manage without this function, the Lefant M210P Robot Vacuum Cleaner has secured a 4.2-star rating from more than 6,000 reviews. Customers have praised the 'dust gobbler' as a brilliant time saver, with many saying they wish they had 'got one sooner'. One satisfied shopper said: "Seriously impressed. I thought this was some sort of gimmick, but I was wrong. This little dust gobbler does an outstandingly good job, the entire downstairs area was cleaned, even reaching areas I thought it wouldn't. "It was super easy to set up and start up. This has far exceeded what I thought it was capable of, I would rate it 10/10. Wish I'd got one sooner, it's a game changer." Another said: "Amazing for hard floors. I was a bit worried that I expected too much from this little guy, but I was wrong. Battery life is approximately one hour 30 minutes. "Docks itself when it needs charging. Easy to schedule through the app. It has found so much dust from under the sofas I didn't know was there. Not mega loud when in operation. Really recommend for hard floors." This more mixed three-star review said: "Ideal for small jobs. If you want a simple to operate low cost cleaner this could be a good choice. Struggles a bit on deep pile but ideal for hardwood or similar floors." While another glowing review said: "Great machine. It has been a year since I purchased this. It is great value for money. Cleans well, doesn't need a lot of time to charge, it's not too loud and does the job. It is a time saver and my little helper. Lefant's customer service is great. They helped me immediately when I had a problem."
