Ashleigh and Billy Ashleigh and Billy were the first couple to get engaged and take their relationship to the next step. Despite some initial concerns over her job as cabin crew manager, Billy, who is an army physical trainer from Northern Ireland, decided to pop the question. After admitting he had dated cabin crew before and it "fizzled out" due to the scheduling conflicts, Ashleigh confessed she would change her job to suit her family life if needed. It wasn't long before the two met face to face and even declared their love for one another. ‌ Megan and Kieran Kieran found himself in a dramatic love triangle as he expressed interest in both Megan and Sophie. Medical company owner Sarover grew up in a modern Indian family and has never dated outside of her ethnic background. ‌ Growing up she believed a boyfriend should be the one you intended to marry, but hoped to find love in the experiment. Soon, Kal came along. Gym owner Kal is half-Pakistani and they were concerned how their families would react to their differing backgrounds. Admitting their love for one another, doubts soon start to creep in for Sarover who admits she is not Kal's usual type. Bardha and Jed ‌ Bardha had been engaged to be married when she found messages to another girl on her ex-fiancé's phone. With dreams of her mother, who has battled cancer, walking her down the aisle, Bardha found a connection with configuration manager Jed as they bonded over their shared values. Having been single for a year, Jed appears to be utterly taken for Bardha as he too holds traditional values when it comes to romance. But will their family introductions go to plan? Katisha and Javen ‌ Katisha came under fire with other cast members after a last minute decision saw her choosing health coach Javen. Despite admitting a stronger connection with Demola, who was ready to propose, 31-year-old nanny Katisha, from Scotland, was set to call things off with Javen. Katisha has been single for six years and, after starting to feel unlucky in love, is ready to connect with 'the right type of men' in order to find a future husband. Despite being confused over who to pick, then learning more towards Demola, her decision left one contestant 'blindsided' in episode four, which is aptly titled 'She Changed Her Mind Overnight'. An overnight change in plans saw Katisha going back on her decision and instead choosing Javen as her partner. But it appears Demola will return in preview clips for next week. What's next? Preview clips saw drama and turmoil for the upcoming episodes as returning cast members return and family introductions are made. But not everything goes as smoothly as hoped. Episodes five to eight will be released on Netflix on August 20, with the final two episodes available on August 27.

Love Is Blind UK fans 'work out' future for favourite couple after spotting subtle sign

Fans are already having their say on the Love Is Blind UK couples *Contains spoilers for Love Is Blind UK Season 2* ‌ Love Is Blind UK fans have worked out the future of one "favourite" couple as season two is released. ‌ The highly anticipated second season of Love Is Blind UK hit Netflix today with the first four episodes now available to stream. ‌ Brand new hopefuls are taking part in the unique experiment in a bid to find their perfect match. The twist? Not being able to see their potential partner in person, instead relying on a strong emotional bond. Once that connection is secured, then the couple will take their relationship to the next stage by getting engaged - only then will they meet in person. And with the first batch of episodes dropping today, fans are already having their say on who they think will make a strong relationship, or who will ultimately leave the show in tears. Kal and Sarover have formed a connection in the pods, but due to their differing backgrounds and the fact Sarover is not Kal's 'usual type', fans fear the worst. 29-year-old medical company owner Sarover grew up in a modern Indian family and has never had a serious relationship or dated outside of her ethnic background before. ‌ Growing up, she believed that a boyfriend should be the one she intended to marry. Kal, who is 32, from Wigan, has not had a relationship last for longer than a year. His dad is Pakistani and his mother is English and he is part of a large, close-knit family. Fans have "noticed" Kal seems particularly "cold" or "uninterested" in Sarover after taking their connection to the next step and asking her to marry him. ‌ One fan said on X: "Kal better not break Sarover's heart! She's a gorgeous girl… he is giving me a bad feeling with her not being his 'type'." Another penned: "You're done - sarover." A third added: "Kal needs to stop singing about Sarover not being his type, like we get it, don't make the girl feel insecure." Over on Reddit, one person wrote: "Its pretty clear that sarover and Kal are not getting married." ‌ Another added: "He seems to be very cold towards her and she needs a reassurance she won't be getting." ‌ A third worried: "I Hope the indian/pakistani thing won't set them back." However, despite some convinced of a future heartbreak, many fans say they are "rooting" for the pair. One person said: "Kal and Sarover are such a cute couple, rooting for them so far." A third confessed: "Don't want to speak too soon but Kal and Sarover are my ship and i'll ride with them till the end." A fourth added: "Sarova and Kal are my favorites so far." What's next for Sarover and Kal? Fans will have to tune in to find out.

Elephant tramples tourist 'who took its photo with flash on'

A tourist had to run for his life before being trampled by an elephant after apparently venturing too close for a selfie. The man reportedly trespassed in a restricted forest near the Bankapur temple in Karnataka, southwest India. He allegedly tried to take a selfie with the creature but had to flee when it turned on him after being startled by the flash. Footage taken by visitors driving through the reserve on Sunday shows the elephant shrieking as it thunders across the road to chase the tourist, identified by authorities as R. Basavaraju. As the animal bore down on him he tripped and fell, with his trousers sliding down his waist, before the elephant walked over him. The creature then returned to the wilderness, leaving him splayed out on the road having fortuitously escaped being crushed under its weight. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Witness Daniel Osorio said the elephant was eating carrots at the side of the road when the tourist approached it to take a selfie. The animal attacked him after being provoked by the sudden bright flash, according to the passer-by. Forest officials said they tracked down Basavaraju at his home in Nanjangud town, also in the state of Karnataka. He was fined 25,000 Rupees (£212) and made to record a video confession, admitting his actions stemmed from ignorance of wildlife safety rules. More Trending Basavaraju also warned other tourists not to make the same mistake. The Forest Department said: 'Such reckless stunts not only endanger human lives but also provoke unpredictable and dangerous animal behaviour.' The Indian sub-continent has at least 30,000 wild elephants – more than any other country and approximately 60 per cent of the world's entire Asian elephant population.
