Over the last three years, she has helped lead the Tigers to the Elite Eight round of the women's NCAA Tournament. As a freshman during the 2022-23 season, she teamed with Angel Reese, who is now with the WNBA's Chicago Sky, to guide LSU to the national championship with a win over Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes.
Johnson is also a rapper who has appeared on "America's Got Talent" and "The Rap Game." She has released three albums, and on Friday, her new single, named "Remember When," dropped.
Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey took to X to congratulate Johnson.
"Proud of you @Flaujae 💜🤍💛," Johnson wrote.
Johnson, who is originally from Georgia and also played baseball as a kid, averaged 11.0 points and 5.9 rebounds a game as a freshman at LSU. Last season, she put up 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals a game while shooting 46.8% from the field and 38.3% from 3-point range.

Ohio State Gets Great News on 'Elite' Star Quarterback

Ohio State Gets Great News on 'Elite' Star Quarterback originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Ohio State Buckeyes have become a mecca of sorts for high school quarterbacks at their summer camp this week. Another top future signal-caller came to Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday. Advertisement On3's Mick Walker reported that 2027 five-star quarterback Elijah Haven was set to visit the Buckeyes' campus on Thursday. The highly regarded signal-caller could be closing in on an offer from Ohio State. "Ohio State not offered the 6-foot-4, 205-pound Haven, but quarterbacks coach Billy Fessler has been evaluating him," Walker wrote on Wednesday. On3 ranks Haven as the top quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 9 overall prospect. Ohio State Buckeyes football head coach Ryan Day© Adam Cairns/Columbus Dispatch / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Haven is also the No. 1 quarterback and fourth-best Louisiana prospect in the 2027 class, per 247Sports composite rankings. Overall, he is ranked No. 22 in the class according to the composite rankings. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has projected Haven to land with the LSU Tigers. Haven also has the Michigan Wolverines high on his list of schools. Advertisement Walker wrote that the quarterback has also received offers from the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes and Ole Miss Rebels. But an offer from the reigning national champions could always shake things up. Walker added Wednesday that Haven will be one of four Louisiana prospects in Columbus this week. The other three were expected to be wide receiver Miguel Whitley, offensive lineman Zyion Wesley and safety Emmanuel Moses. On3's Mick Walker reported Monday that Ohio State was set to host six of the top 25 quarterbacks in the 2027 recruiting class at their summer camp this week. The Buckeyes have already received two verbal commitments in the 2027 recruiting class, and one of them is a quarterback: four-star prospect Brady Edmunds. NBA rumors: Insiders reveal Philadelphia 76ers' top offseason goal, impact on 2025 NBA Draft

The Philadelphia 76ers had fortune on their side after a disastrous season, moving up in the lottery to secure the third overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. With the franchise sticking by the old core of Paul George and Joel Embiid, intel is emerging on the franchise's goal this offseason. The Stein Line's Jake Fischer and Marc Stein have both learned that the 76ers are focused on adding a 'dynamic young talent' this summer. It further confirms previous reports that the club has no interest in acquiring someone like All-Star forward Kevin Durant. Advertisement Related: Insider explains why the Philadelphia 76ers will pass on Ace Bailey Philadelphia's desire to acquire a dynamic young player doesn't necessarily mean the franchise will keep the third overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Philadelphia is very open to moving down, but Stein makes it clear the club is only willing to move down a few spots. While Rutgers guard Ace Bailey is widely considered the third-best prospect in the draft class, previous reports have suggested he might not be Philadelphia's target. Instead, the 76ers could have their eye on Texas Longhorns guard Tre Johnson. Related: 2025 NBA Draft order, Philadelphia 76ers draft picks 2025 Johnson, the reigning SEC Freshman of the Year, excelled last season as an 18-year-old. A former five-star recruit, he earned second-team All-SEC honors after averaging 19.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. The 6-foot-6 guard shot 42.7 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from the perimeter. Advertisement The 19-year-old is well-regarded for his shot-making, demonstrating the ability to both shoot on the move and operate effectively as an off-ball scorer. He's also a capable ball-handler who could start alongside Tyrese Maxey or come off the bench as a sixth man. However, defense is one of his weaknesses. Johnson checks multiple boxes that the 76ers' organization seems to be prioritizing this summer and he would likely be on the board if Philadelphia trades down with a team like the Utah Jazz (fifth overall pick) or the Washington Wizards (sixth overall pick). What's been made clear is that while the 76ers are keeping George and Embiid, they view this pick as an opportunity to start building for the future. Read More: Best NBA players of all time

Cubs Trade Idea Lands $64.5 Million Left-Hander from Lousy NL Team

Cubs Trade Idea Lands $64.5 Million Left-Hander from Lousy NL Team originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Chicago Cubs will likely be looking for any help for their under-performing starting rotation. Advertisement That is why Jim Bowden at The Athletic is expecting Chicago to target a variety of pitchers at the MLB trade deadline. He listed several starters that are either having down years or struggling on underperforming teams, one of which was the Rockies' left-hander Kyle Freeland. Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland (21) delivers a pitch against the Miami Marlins during the first inning at loanDepot Navarro-Imagn Images Freeland's best season was back in 2018, when he posted a 17-7 record with a 2.85 ERA. It was the only season the Rockies have had a winning record (91-71) over the last 10 years, since they went 86-76 in 2015. But the veteran starter is just 1-8 this year in 13 starts, playing on a team that is 12-54 and headed for one of the worst records in baseball history. Advertisement Freeland's ERA sits at a below-average 5.19 for the season, but it is essential to recognize that Coors Field is a difficult venue in which to pitch. The Rockies' struggling defense and lack of run support also play a role. Still, Freeland's ERA is narrowly better than Cubs starter Ben Brown's 5.37 ERA, and Brown is on one of the best teams in baseball. Freeland is not known for a dominating fastball; instead, he excels with his off-speed pitches and command of the zone. One MLB Insider says that it fits well with what Chicago wants out of their starters. The Rockies are on pace for their seventh straight losing season, which is why the change of scenery coming from a trade to Chicago could revitalize Freeland.
