Report – Iran Superstar Will Train With Inter Milan First Team & Not U23 Side
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Iranian striker will link up with the first-team squad.
That's in contrast with some earlier reports.
Indeed, there was speculation that he could join Stefano Vecchi's U23 squad instead.
However, the 33-year-old will instead reunite with his clubmates and start preparing for the new season.
Inter Milan Flop Mehdi Taremi Returns to Pre-Season Training
LECCE, ITALY – JANUARY 26: Mehdi Taremi of Inter celebrates scoring his team's 4th goal during the Serie A match between Lecce and FC Internazionale at Stadio Via del Mare on January 26, 2025 in Lecce, Italy. (Photo by)
Mehdi Taremi underwent his physical tests today and will meet his teammates at Appiano Gentile tomorrow.
Yet, he remains out of favor at San Siro.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu has sidelined him from his project, prompting Inter to put him on the market.
Despite attracting interest from Flamengo, Taremi has made it clear he wants to stay in Europe.
Furthermore, he prefers a club from Europe's traditional top-five leagues.
Leeds United and Fulham have shown interest, but they have yet to make contact with the Nerazzurri.
Therefore, Taremi's future remains uncertain heading into the opening Serie A round.

The Italian announced his retirement Monday afternoon, having spent the last six seasons of his career with Virtus Bologna, an Italian professional basketball club. Belinelli was an NBA champion in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs, whom he played his last NBA action with in the 2019-20 season. In Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Boston Celtics, Belinelli nailed a two-pointer to send the game to overtime, though the Sixers would eventually come up short in the game. Chargers predicted to get off to rough regular season start within the division
Chargers predicted to get off to rough regular season start within the division originally appeared on The Sporting News The Los Angeles Chargers open the 2025 season with three straight divisional opponents. At least one analyst feels that the team will get off to a bumpy start. The Chargers open the season in Brazil against the Chiefs before playing the Raiders in Las Vegas and then hosting the Broncos in Week 3. John Breech of CBS Sports made his predictions for when each NFL team will lose its first game this coming season, and he has the Chargers stumbling out of the gate. "The Chiefs have won seven straight games against the Chargers, but they've never beaten them in Brazil. However, there's a first time for everything. The Chargers have had a run of bad injury luck with Rashawn Slater out for the season and the Chiefs are the Chiefs", wrote Breech. Jim Harbaugh fought Andy Reid hard twice last season, but came up short. He goes to 0-3 against him as the coach of the Chargers with this prediction. But it doesn't stop there. While we don't know how Breech sees the Week 2 game vs. the Raiders (because he has the Raiders losing in Week 1 as well), we can see that he predicts the Broncos to beat them in Week 3 as he doesn't have the Broncos losing their first game until Week 4. That means that the Chargers, according to Breech, will start the season 1-2, at best. As far as predictions go, it gets a little worse. Over at Ali Bhanpuri and Adam Rank predicted each game of the upcoming season and locked in their playoff teams as a result. Bhanpuri has the Chargers finishing the season 10-7 and fitting into the No. 6 slot in the AFC. Rank also has them going 10-7, but they miss the playoffs entirely in his prediction. READ:4 Chargers on chopping block ahead of game vs. Rams It seems that the Chargers have failed to create any new believers this offseason, as many analysts see them being about as good as they were last year, if not a little bit worse. Harbaugh could use that as fuel to rally his troops. Watch: Luka Doncic highlights from Slovenia's friendly match on Monday
After suffering an injury scare in Slovenia's friendly match on Saturday in advance of EuroBasket 2025, Luka Doncic was back on the court for the country's penultimate friendly on Tuesday versus Great Britain. He didn't seem to show any sign that he had narrowly avoided a serious knee injury just three days prior. While he hit just two of his 11 3-point attempts, he ended up with 28 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block in an easy 93-81 win for Slovenia. Once again, as he did in his previous two appearances, he looked svelte and fit, not to mention very mobile. Slovenia's final tune-up game will be this Thursday against Serbia. Its first official contest of EuroBasket 2025 will take place on Thursday, Aug. 28, when it takes on Poland.
