According to the Metropolitan Police, the singer has been charged with grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

Chris Brown dated Barbadian R&B legend Robyn 'Rihanna' Fenty back when both of them were still in the relative infancy of their careers. They met as teenagers in 2004, during their come-up. They were first photographed backstage at the Jingle Bell Ball in 2005, and their career paths repeatedly crossed, until they eventually ended up in a relationship in 2008.
They broke up for a period in 2009, though they later rekindled their relationship in 2012. 'We've built a trust again, and that's it,' Rihanna told Oprah at the time. 'We love each other and we probably always will. That's not anything that we're going to try to change. That's not something you can shut off if you've ever been in love.' The pair broke up for good in 2013. Despite their past, Chris congratulated Rihanna in 2022 on the birth of her child with A$AP Rocky.

Draya Michele, known for her appearance on Basketball Wives LA, dated Chris for about nine months in 2010, between his stints dating Rihanna. Discussing their breakup on a radio show, she said: 'We just went our separate ways and it was just too much fighting and too many differences. Arguing, sorry. I'm very jealous and I'm a very psycho crazy girlfriend. I act like everybody's baby momma.' After their breakup, they remained friends, and Chris introduced Draya to his future longterm girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Karrueche Tran (2011–2015)

Karrueche Tran, a socialite and actress, met Chris in 2011 while working as a styling assistant on one of his projects. At this time, she was relatively unknown in the public eye and had a job at Nordstrom in Los Angeles. Their relationship became complicated due to Chris's ongoing connection with Rihanna, something which was hinted at by his ex, Draya Michele. In that same radio interview where she explained their breakup, Michele explained: 'Me and [Chris] always remained friends, and then he was like I want you to meet my girlfriend [Karrueche Tran], she's so cool, meet her. I was like cool,' Michele recalled. 'I don't think I was the ex that she needed to be concerned about. So it was all good for me and her to be cool.'
In 2012, Brown allegedly ended his relationship with Karrueche to avoid hurting her because of his friendship with Rihanna. However, they reunited after Chris's relationship with Rihanna ended. In 2014, Chris Brown fathered a daughter, Royalty, with another woman, Nia Guzman, though he says he didn't know about his daughter until she was eight months old (Nia Guzman and Chris never reportedly dated and have always been cited as 'good friends'). In 2015, Karrueche publicly announced their breakup, citing Chris's infidelity as the reason. Then, ten years later, E News reported that they had been seen together at Coachella, chatting and laughing, alluding to a possible reconciliation. Ammika Harris (2015–2023)

As of early 2024, reports suggest that while they maintain a close co-parenting relationship, but they are not romantically involved. Read More Tanmay Bhat On Creativity In Advertising

Chris Brown's third baby mama, Diamond Brown, was first linked to the singer in 2019, right around the time he welcomed his son with Ammika Harris. Diamond revealed she was pregnant in 2021, sharing a picture of her bump on Instagram with the caption: 'Just when you think you know love, something little comes along to remind you just how big it really is.'
She welcomed her daughter with Chris Brown, Lovely, in January 2022. In another Instagram post, she wrote: 'The princess is here! Lovely Symphani Brown🤎. My sweet babygirl, it's been a whole day you've been in the world and have already shown me the true meaning of life. I promise to love and protect you always. Forever yours, mommy.'

Trump's Trade War Plot Twist May Be a Hollywood That Looks for Even More Co-Productions
Donald Trump talked about slapping a 100 percent tariff on all foreign movies to make a 'troubled' Hollywood great again. But judging by the conversations at the Banff World Media Festival — both among content creators and acquisition execs and during panel and keynote speeches — global collaboration to create new partnerships and content across borders and tackle mutual financial challenges is the byword this week in the Canadian Rockies. Advertisement More from The Hollywood Reporter 'Collaboration is the one word that keeps coming up. I've never seen people all over the world — buyers, producers – more open to finding ways to get projects made and over the line,' Allison Wallach, head of unscripted programming at Fox Entertainment Studios, told a Banff fest panel on unscripted content. The discussion on the evolution of unscripted fare took place against the backdrop of Trump's talk of a foreign movie tariff quickly pivoting to a discussion of Americans possibly taking part in official international co-productions for the first time. And that plays directly into the wheelhouse of Canadian and other international producers that have been doing multi-passport films and TV series for decades. 'Deals I never thought I'd get away making, all of a sudden 50 percent of something is better than 100 percent of nothing,' Wallach added about recent dealmaking. Advertisement Sharon Scott, president, A+E Factual Studios, added during the unscripted content panel that global collaboration has moved from the sidelines to front and center for recent dealmaking. 'I love a coproduction. I didn't used to, but they definitely help on the financial side, and you make new friends and partners,' she said. Scott also touted the benefits of tapping film tax credits, including in Canada. 'Anything that can be done anywhere, should be done here,' she said of shooting content in Canada, whether TV shows or just expert interviews for an unscripted series. The result in Banff for an entertainment industry looking to cut content budgets and produce for and with the world was more deliberative conversations between potential partners. 'Everything is a conversation now. That's a really good thing. We just want to get the best content for our customers and we want to work with fantastic partners from all around the world to do that,' Anais Baker, head of international formats at Amazon MGM Studios, told the unscripted TV panel. Advertisement Michaela Di Mondo, executive vp of distribution, international at Fremantle Canada, at one point directly addressed producers in Banff and urged them to take advantage of American and other international producers looking to forge new partnerships. 'For you guys in the room, producers, this is your time. Here's an opportunity where the world is kind of saying, where else can we work? Where else can we do hub structures. Where else can we do co-productions? How can we cost save where it doesn't mean 'that's too Canadian,' versus look how amazing that was, and the cost was even better,' Di Mondo said. A Day in the Life of Chris 'The Bear' Fallica at the Belmont Stakes
The Belmont Stakes has officially wrapped up. We all know Sovereignty took first place in the race, but what did the day look like for FOX Sports betting expert Chris 'The Bear' Fallica? Come and see for yourself! It was 9:03 a.m. in New York, meaning it was go-time. First things first, The Bear started his everyday routine by handicapping, getting scratches out and going through the big, multi-race wagers, so it was highlighted for him to keep an eye on throughout the day. Chris then wagered on a Pick 5, as it's the best way to "get the juices flowing" in the early morning. Well, whaddyaknow, a handful of races got canceled and postponed. That just meant he had to improvise and adjust; his Pick 5 would have to wait another day. It was time to head to the Saratoga Race Course. By 1:30 p.m., The Bear had arrived and was ready to get beautified. Three minutes later, his makeup was complete. Fallica was then ready to meet with the Bear Bets producers to discuss the wagers he would make on the show. But before he went on air, he needed to make a quick stop. What good handicapper doesn't have a fedora? That definitely couldn't be Chris. The fun began at 3:05 p.m. as he entered the Saratoga course and, with the help of fans, The Bear found himself the perfect hat. Selfie time! The Bear had many fans he had to attend to, and, of course, had to get in a handful of selfies as he made his way throughout the course. Drinking from the Big Red Spring is a must at the Saratoga Race Course, so obviously Fallica needed to try it. Around 3:30 p.m., it was officially time for the Bear Bets livestream, where fellow FOX Sports betting analysts Sammy P and Geoff Schwartz joined The Bear to film. Following the livestream at 4:07 p.m., Chris hopped in to join FOX Sports' Charissa Thompson and Jonathon Kinchen, helping break down how to bet on the horses. Chris put his money on Journalism. It was then time to make the final pick just before 7 p.m. alongside the analysts. Terry Bradshaw entered the broadcast a few minutes later to watch the race. The horses took off, and in 2 minutes, 0.69 seconds, Sovereignty finished in first place, ahead of Preakness Stakes winner Journalism by three lengths. "They love me even though Sovereignty won," Fallica said. "I have to be a winner. Any time you come out of the day with a hat, it's a successful day, right? Another year until we can do it all over again. Before we even know it, Big Noon college football will be back". Want great stories delivered right to your inbox?
