Puppy Is Unexpectedly Calm During Bath in Cute TikTok Video
Bath time is usually a whirlwind of splashes, shakes, and soggy chaos for pet parents, but one dog is turning that expectation on its head. In a heartwarming video, a Golden Retriever puppy is seen enjoying an unusually peaceful bath, so calm and content that she almost dozes off. It's a rare and adorable moment, especially for anyone who knows the usual drama that comes with trying to bathe a dog.
The TikTok clip — shared by user @safiragoldinha — has quickly gained popularity, garnering over 4.6 million likes. The Golden Retriever, affectionately known as Safira, appears to be in her element as she enjoys a soothing bath. Her eyes slowly close as she seems to fall asleep, unfazed by the water flowing over her fur.
With over 14,900 comments, the video has clearly resonated with viewers. Comments from users range from expressions of adoration to playful envy of the pup's calmness. One user commented, 'Oh to have a dog that likes baths.' Another said, 'She looks like she's in a spa!' It's clear that Safira's demeanor during her bath has charmed many, inviting viewers to momentarily escape their own hectic lives and appreciate a dog's simple pleasure.
Bathing a dog can be an interesting challenge, to say the least. For many, it's a task met with resistance and plenty of wet floors. Dogs, by nature, are not always fond of baths. The sound of running water, the sensation of being wet, and the soap can be unsettling to them. However, it's an essential part of pet care that keeps them clean and healthy. For some dogs, like Safira, the experience can become a soothing ritual rather than a chore. Her owner has managed to create a peaceful atmosphere, and it's evident that Safira has come to enjoy this routine.

How Bay Area duo Adria and Oatmeal became Internet sensations
Welcome to "Made in the Bay," a series spotlighting content creators with ties to the Bay Area. State of play: Our inaugural edition features Adria Barich and her "furry little water T-rex" Oatmeal, who made a name for themselves documenting their adventures in swimming pools. Zoom in: The duo has amassed millions of followers across TikTok and YouTube. Barich, a Petaluma native, is a social media consultant in addition to running the Adria and Oatmeal brand. We asked about her work and relationship to the Bay. Answers have been lightly edited. What was the first moment you realized your content was starting to blow up? I had to upgrade our PO Box earlier this year because it was literally overflowing with fan mail! I still can't believe that people care enough about us to handwrite a letter, make a friendship bracelet, or crochet Oatmeal a leash. What's one part of content creation that you love but people might not realize takes a lot of time/effort? My favorite part is the process itself: brainstorming ideas, writing briefs, filming, editing and scheduling. ... The hardest part is making it look easy. What's your favorite piece of content you've created? I love this video because it wasn't planned at all — I just picked up my phone, started recording and it went super viral. How has living in the Bay Area impacted you/your work? I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived here for around 20 years total! This unique area has heavily influenced my eccentric personality and love for tech (I asked for a green screen for my 10th birthday). Crissy Field — dogs can play off leash ... and there's a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

A London-bound plane passenger captured the climactic end of a Dua Lipa concert from thousands of feet above Wembley Stadium, offering a rare and awe-inspiring perspective of the event. The viral moment, filmed by Jim Molyneux (@jimmolyneux2), shows a nighttime descent into Heathrow Airport with a sweeping aerial view of London. As the camera lingers over Wembley, a cascade of flashing lights and a sudden burst of fireworks illuminates the iconic venue, marking the finale of the Grammy-winning artist's performance. Text overlaid on the video, which was posted on June 23 and has since amassed more than 420,000 views, reads: "When you're coming into land at Heathrow and you catch the end of Dua Lipa's show at Wembley Stadium."
