The BBC said: 'Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home is the moving and inspirational account of the last chapter of Ozzy's life, told through unique and intimate access to the whole Osbourne family, including Sharon, Jack and Kelly.'
The documentary was filmed over three years and 'captures the extraordinary roller-coaster of their lives as Sharon and Ozzy attempt to complete their long-held dream of moving back to the UK, Ozzy heroically battles to get fit enough to perform, and the family deal with the dramatic consequences of his ill-health.'
Clare Sillery, BBC Head of Commissioning, Documentaries, says: 'We are honoured to have had the opportunity to film with Ozzy and his family. The film captures an intimate glimpse into their journey as they prepare to return to the UK.

The documentary was originally conceived as a series, Home to Roost, which was announced in 2022, but the project evolved as Ozzy's health deteriorated into a one-hour film, Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.

The programme was renowned for its distinctive style, with the Marine Homicide Unit detective regularly breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to viewers. The drama saw Annika leading the fictional Glasgow-based Marine Homicide Unit, with the cast consisting of Katie Leung as DC Blair Ferguson, Jamie Sives as DS Michael McAndrews, Ukweli Roach as DS Tyrone Clarke and Kate Dickie as DCI Diane Oban. The star-studded cast also included Doctor Who star Varada Sethu joining as DC Harper Weston in season two, while Paul McGann played Annika's love interest Jake Strathearn, and Silvie Furneaux was her daughter, Morgan. Annika's axe comes despite its impressive Rotten Tomatoes rating, with an 83% score and a 96% audience rating. "Wow, just wow. Bring on season 3," one fan commented. Another said: "The marvellous Nicola Walker never disappoints, another great British crime drama. Scottish setting is beautiful." Nicola previously admitted it took some time to get used to the unconventional way of bringing viewers insight into Annika. She said: "With most characters there is so much subtext. But there is no subtext with Annika because the subtext is her talking directly to you and telling you what she feels. By the end, we are going to know her as well as she knows herself. "On the first day, I kept stopping and laughing. It felt so wrong. But by the end, I was so into it, I was flicking looks at the camera all the time. I'm very worried about my next job now – 'Why does she keep looking down the lens?' It might have ruined me for the future!" But she explained the device was essential when it came to adapting the original audio drama. She said: "When he started talking about a television series, my first question was, how would you populate the world which has previously only been in Annika's head? Nick [Walker, writer] said immediately, 'We're going to break the fourth wall!' "So, she still has Norwegian heritage, she is still an outsider, and she still has a different way of coping with life and work, but the hook is the fact that this is the only detective series where the audience is the silent sidekick. ACTORS are pulling on the Three Lions shirt to play England football stars for a new BBC drama TV series. But can you work out which England footballers these actors are being portrayed in our exclusive photos? 10 10 10 The broadcaster is producing the series as an adaptation of the award-winning play Dear England. The show will be made up of four parts and will follow former England boss Gareth Southgate as he attempts to end the nation's wait for a major trophy. BBC will air the series in 2026 as it is currently being filmed in the south of England. Some scenes have already been filmed, including one of Southgate's darkest days in charge of the team. Actors pulled on the famous kit to re-enact England's 4-0 hammering at the hands of Hungary in June 2014. The loss was the Three Lions' biggest defeat on home soil since 1928 as they left Wolves' Molineux Stadium with a whimper. Pictures have shown the England team in action with their actor doubles taking to the pitch. And some of the players didn't quite manage to capture the full look of the originals. Southgate is being be played by Olivier Award-nominated actor Joseph Fiennes - who does a great job in capturing the former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace star's resemblance. England 0-4 Hungary, Nations League 2023 A year on from the Euros and it was utter embarrassment for Southgate in this Nations League game at Molineux. It was our biggest home defeat since 1928 and the result led to England being relegated from the top group of the Nations League and back to one that contained the Republic of Ireland, Finland and Greece. England 1-2 France, World Cup 2022 quarter-finals Another case of what could have been. Having been free-scoring throughout Qatar 2022, many fancied us to go all the way at the World Cup despite taking on the holders in the quarters. We fought back from going behind to level through Kane and many believe that France were then there for the taking had Southgate deployed a more attacking approach. Instead, they seemed content with what they had until Olivier Giroud pounced 12 minutes from time to win it. But there was still one more twist of the knife for England as the usually-reliable Kane skied a late penalty over the bar uncharacteristically as we crashed out.
