
Gaza team triumphs in Hajjah volleyball tournament dedicated to resistance leaders

Gaza Team emerged victorious in "When We Martyrdom, We Win" Ramadan Volleyball Championship, held in Hajjah province in honor of martyrs Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al-Din.
The week-long tournament, organized by the Province's Youth and Sports Office and the Volleyball Federation, featured six competing teams.
In a decisive final match, the Gaza Team swept Sinwar team in three straight sets, claiming the championship title.
Officials praised the event's organization, emphasizing the role of sports in commemorating resistance leaders and inspiring youth to support the Palestinian cause.
The tournament was highlighted as a testament to the enduring commitment to stand with the "oppressed and vulnerable in Gaza."
Murad Shali, director of the governorate's youth office, stated that the tournament aimed to shed light on the suffering of the Palestinian people and acknowledge Hezbollah's "heroic role" in confronting Israel and supporting Gaza.

Al-Ahly wins egyptian league title for 45th Time
Cairo - Saba: Al-Ahly clinched the Egyptian Premier League title for the third consecutive time and the 45th in its history after crushing Farco with a clean six-goal victory in the final round of the league's crowning stage on Wednesday. Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali emerged as the star of the match, scoring a super hat-trick (four goals) in the 10th, 33rd, 61st, and 66th minutes. Hussein El-Shahat added the fifth goal in the 75th minute, while Imam Ashour sealed the sixth in stoppage time. With this win, Al-Ahly raised its tally to 58 points, maintaining the top spot with a two-point lead over its closest rival, Pyramids FC, which had hoped to secure its first-ever league title. Summer schools football championship concludes in Capital Secretariat
Sana'a - Saba: The Summer Schools Football Championship for district teams in the Capital Secretariat concluded on Wednesday at Al-Dharafi Stadium. The tournament, organized by the Youth and Sports Office of the Municipality, was part of the summer activities for the year 1446 AH. The final match was attended by Ali Hadhban, Deputy Minister of Youth for Sports Affairs, Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Municipality, his deputy Zaid Jahaf, and several youth and sports leaders, along with a large crowd. The match featured a strong competition between the teams of Al-Tahrir and Bani Al-Harith districts, ending in a 1-1 draw in regular time. Al-Tahrir eventually secured the title by winning on penalties. Al-Tahrir district team was crowned champion of the tournament, which was held under the patronage of the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, in cooperation with the Capital Municipality's Subcommittee and the Al-Shaab Social Development Foundation. The championship aimed to enhance the sports, educational, and cultural aspects of summer school students. At the end of the match, the winning teams were honored—Al-Tahrir as champions and Bani Al-Harith as runners-up. Additionally, the winners of the cultural competition were recognized, with Al-Sab'een district team taking first place, while Al-Ma'in and Al-Wahda district teams shared second place.
