2025 CFL Grey Cup odds for all 9 teams
The CFL season kicks off Thursday, June 5, with QB Trevor Harris and the Saskatchewan Roughriders hosting QB Dru Brown and the Ottawa Redblacks. Below are BetMGM Sportsbook's 2025 CFL Grey Cup odds as of the evening of June 3.
The defending Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts open their season Friday, June 6, at the Montreal Alouettes in a rematch of last year's Eastern Final. Toronto has captured the Grey Cup in 2 of the past 3 seasons (2022 and 2024), with Montreal taking the title in 2023.
Calgary hosts the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Saturday, June 7, marking the Stampeders debut of QB Vernon Adams Jr., acquired in the offseason. Adams' former team, the BC Lions, welcome the Edmonton Elks later that day to wrap up the Week 1 schedule. Lions QB Nathan Rourke looks to bounce back from a disappointing CFL return last season following a brief stint in the NFL.
The defending West Division champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who lost to the Argonauts in last year's Grey Cup, are off Week 1 and will open their season at home against the Lions Thursday, June 12.
The Argonauts are the preseason favorites to win the title, listed at +325 odds by BetMGM Sportsbook. The Alouettes and Blue Bombers follow at +425 each, with the Lions and Redblacks next at +650 apiece.

How to Watch Miami Dolphins vs Detroit Lions: Live Stream NFL Preseason, TV Channel
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The Miami Dolphins will face the Detroit Lions in week 2 of the NFL preseason on Saturday at Ford Field. Dolphins vs Lions - NFL Preseason Week 2 Dolphins vs Lions - NFL Preseason Week 2 Coley Cleary How to Watch Dolphins vs Lions Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025 Time: 1:00 PM ET Channel: Lions TV Network, MyNetworkTV (KHII – Honolulu, HI) Stream: Fubo (TRY FOR FREE) Both of these teams' offenses have been heavily discussed throughout the offseason, and now heading into the regular season. Many wonder if Detroit can still be as dynamic without its offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson, who is now in Chicago. So far, they have scored just 24 points through two preseason games. It has mainly been Kyle Allen leading the charge, so we will have to hold off on any official judgment until the starters return to their full-time roles. For Miami, the question is whether or not Mike McDaniel can get their system back to clicking on all cylinders. After breaking out as one of the best offensive minds in recent seasons, 2024 was one to forget for the Dolphins and their fanbase. The offensive numbers were way down as Tua Tagovailoa dealt with concussion issues. McDaniel will look to get his team back to 2023 form, when they averaged nearly 30 points per game. This is a great NFL matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action. This is not a nationally broadcast game, but it can still be live-streamed locally on Fubo through the Lions TV Network and MyNetworkTV (KHII – Honolulu). It will be aired via tape delay later on NFL Network. Live stream Dolphins vs Lions for free with Fubo: Start your subscription now! Regional restrictions may apply. UFC 319: Lerone Murphy vs. Aaron Pico odds, picks and predictions
In a 3-round featherweight bout on the main card, Lerone Murphy and Aaron Pico meet Saturday at UFC 319 at United Center in Chicago. The early prelims begin at 6:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+ / Disney+), with the prelims starting at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN / ESPN+ / Disney+), followed by the main card at 10 p.m. ET (Pay-Per-View). Their bout is expected to start around 11:45 p.m. ET. Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's UFC odds around the UFC 319: Murphy vs. Pico odds, and make our expert UFC picks and predictions. Records: Murphy (16-0-1) | Pico (13-4-0) Murphy rolls into this bout with 8 consecutive victories since a draw in his company debut at UFC 242 in Sept. 2019 against Zubaira Tukhugov. He has 4 straight unanimous-decision wins, including against Josh Emmett last time out, and he has 5 straight decision victories in a row. The 28-year-old Pico makes his UFC debut after a successful run at Bellator, including a pair of Round 1 KO/TKO victories against Pedro Carvalho and Henry Corrales in his 2 most recent fights. The 34-year-old Murphy holds a 3-inch reach advantage over Pico, and the addition from Bellator has an uphill battle in his company debut. Murphy has a solid 4.53 significant strikes landed per minute, while landing 59.62% of those strikes. He is also strong in the takedown game, posting a 1.45 average in that category, while hitting 54.17% of those takedowns, with a 0.45 submission average. Pico was 13-4 in his Bellator career, including a 9-3 mark via KO/TKO, and 2-1 by way of submission. But, that's 3 knockouts, and his defense is a little questionable. Lines last updated at 10:05 a.m. ET. UFC 319: Murphy vs. Pico picks and predictions Fight result (2-way line or moneyline) Heading into this fight, MURPHY (+140) is a strong value as a moderate underdog against the UFC newcomer Pico. It's a little surprising to see Pico favored, and by quite a bit. Murphy knows how to get the job done, and how to get the eye of the judges. He has 5 straight decision victories, and that speaks to his stamina, too. In addition, Murphy is pinpoint with his strikes, and he knows how to get the job done. Play our free daily Pick'em Challenge and win! Play now! Over/Under YES (-185): FIGHT TO GO THE DISTANCE? is a little on the pricey side, but it can be excused if you were to toss it into a multi-leg parlay. Again, Murphy has gone the distance in 5 straight fights, and 7 of his 9 fights at the UFC level. For Pico, while he has ended up going the distance just once in the past 5 outings, this is quite a step up in competition. It's hard to envision a quick KO/TKO victory for Pico, which would be his best path to a win. Visit MMA Junkie for more fight news and analysis. Lions' David Montgomery Reveals Major Key for Detroit's Offense
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Over the last couple of years, the Detroit Lions have become not only one of the NFL's best teams, but also one of the league's most popular teams. They have turned into something of a sentimental favorite across Middle America, and their quick and unexpected rise may have something to do with their popularity. For some three decades, the Lions were a moribund franchise despite possessing great players such as legendary running back Barry Sanders, star quarterback Matthew Stafford and Hall of Fame wide receiver Calvin Johnson. But coach Dan Campbell led a resurgence while building a winning culture, and as a result, Detroit has won a total of 27 games and back-to-back NFC North titles over the last two years. One of the biggest keys to the team's success has been its tag-team running back duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. Last year, the two combined to score 32 total touchdowns, with Montgomery contributing 12 of them. INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - NOVEMBER 24: Jahmyr Gibbs #26 and David Montgomery #5 of the Detroit Lions celebrate a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 24, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lions RB David Montgomery is listed as active, along with Amon-Ra St. Brown. MoreHe said that the Lions' offensive line has enabled him to be the player he has become. "For me, it makes my job so much easier," Montgomery told Athlon Sports. "I got some great guys up front. They are amazing." Read more: Former GM Links Lions to Blockbuster Trade for Perennial DPOY Candidate Experts seem to be a bit divided on exactly how good Detroit's offensive line is. ESPN ranked it 16th among the NFL's 32 teams, but Sharp Football Analysis rated it third, with only the Denver Broncos and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles ahead of Detroit. Three Lions offensive linemen made the Pro Bowl in 2024: center Frank Ragnow, left tackle Taylor Decker and right tackle Penei Sewell. While Ragnow announced his retirement this offseason, that offensive line should still be able to create plenty of holes for Gibbs and Montgomery. One factor in that position group's success in 2024 was the fact that it committed very few holding and false start penalties. "Being able to have those guys care about you as much as they do and put everything on the line for you, it makes me realize these guys care about you and the only option is to give them all you got," Montgomery continued about his offensive line. The Lions' defense has been a work in progress, but they improved to seventh in points allowed while giving up the second-fewest touchdown passes last year. They have two promising young safeties in Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph, and the return of defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson should greatly help. Read more: Lions Announce Key Update on Sam LaPorta Injury Granted, the departures of former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and former defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, both of whom helped Campbell build the Lions' winning culture, will likely hurt. There are also those who don't fully trust quarterback Jared Goff in big games, especially after he threw three interceptions in the team's divisional round loss to the Washington Commanders in January. But if the Eagles won't repeat as world champions, the Lions may have the best chance of snatching the Vince Lombardi Trophy from them.
