The Mother's Day 2025 campaign invites users worldwide to share personal tributes to their moms—highlighting the values, traditions, and moments that have shaped their lives.
The campaign encourages participants to submit original stories, videos, songs, and other creative tributes that honor their mothers.
Submissions are open until May 18, and must be tagged with #GJWMothersDay2025, along with a themed sub-hashtag such as #MomsMagicDish, #SongForMom, #TravelWithMom, or #GiftForMom.
'This event is about deepening our connections with our families and with each other,' GJW's spokesman shared via email. 'Every day with Mom is a gift—but this Mother's Day—we're inviting creators and users to make it extra special.'
Participants may submit videos (minimum 30 seconds), shorts, photos, articles, or posts, each accompanied by a short description. Multiple entries are welcome.

Stephen A. Smith's prime SiriusXM slot blindsides current host Michelle Beadle: 'Little embarrassing'

Michelle Beadle admitted being blindsided by news that one of Stephen A. Smith's new programs, which launches in September, will be taking over her time slot on SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio. Beadle said it was "a little embarrassing" to learn her show, "Beadle and Decker," with Cody Decker, won't be airing at the same time from 12-3 p.m. ET every weekday due to Smith joining the show rotation. "Yeah, so the cat's out of the bag. I guess we're talking about it," Beadle said during the show's episode Wednesday. "We weren't supposed to, just as a heads up. We were only given a few hours notice, but we weren't told any details. We were promised that no details would be released. We didn't even know who was taking our place in the lineup, just that it was going to be announced that a new show was being added." Beadle added that she found out what was happening through The Hollywood Reporter's details on Smith joining SiriusXM. "Unbeknownst to us, The Hollywood Reporter, of course, had all the details," Beadle said. "So, it was a little embarrassing, I'm not going to lie. I've been in this business for 20-plus years. I've been treated poorly a couple times. This didn't feel good, I'm not gonna lie." During her time on air, Beadle never mentioned Smith, who works for her former employer, ESPN. Beadle hosted the network's "NBA Countdown" before leaving the network in 2019. Beadle is also the host of FanDuel TV's "Run It Back," which is an NBA-focused program. Smith announced he would be joining SiriusXM on a multi-year deal during an appearance on "The Howard Stern Show" Wednesday. He's scheduled to start Sept. 2 with his takes on the biggest sports topics, while having a second show that will be his take on "weekly current events, pop culture" and more. That show doesn't have a debut date announced yet. "To say that I'm excited would be an understatement," Smith said about his deal with SiriusXM, according to the New York Post. "I've been on Mad Dog before, had the time of my life. So, I'm loving the fact that I get to reunite with my guy, Mad Dog, on his turf. That, in itself, is a beautiful thing. But to then add a weekly show where I have a potent platform to discuss riveting subjects in the world of pop culture, politics and social commentary … let's just say it doesn't get any better than that. Chris "Mad Dog" Russo is a regular guest on ESPN's "First Take," which Smith leads. Follow Fox News Digital's sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

After 'Lights Out,' The Beauty Is On

Backstage at the New York Theatre Workshop's Lights Out: Nat 'King' Cole, the 14-person cast is buzzing. They have just finished a fabulous performance, and now it's time for part two: A celebratory after-party. But their first stop—okay, the first stop is to wipe off all that stage makeup—the next stop is the Valentino Beauty glam room, where full glam moments are happening pre-cast party. 'After these weeks, we have really gelled together as a cast,' Krystal Joy Brown, who took on the legendary roles of Eartha Kitt and Natalie Cole in the show, tells me before she goes in for her glam. 'The message we want to send is, as Eartha says, 'joie de vivre,' like live your life. Be joyous in your pursuit of more, for greater, for speaking your truth, being open, honest, and vulnerable.' It's a message that permeates throughout the powerful show, in fact. Written by Vogue cover star and Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo and Patricia McGregor, Lights Out: Nat 'King' Cole takes a look at the singer on the night of his final television broadcast, and what its cancellation really means. 'This show gives a voice to people and topics that were voiceless back in the 1950s,' Brown says as they are calling her name. It's her turn to step into the spotlight again (this time, a ring light) so she can move on to the party. 'This is a very vulnerable piece. Although we're talking about people who are no longer with us, the message and the plight that they went through is something that we're still going through today.'

Kennedy Center sees ticket sales fall dramatically amid Trump intervention

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has reportedly seen subscription sales fall by about $1.6m – or roughly 36% – compared with 2024 amid Donald Trump's having appointed himself to lead the institution. The center has made less than $2.7m as of the start of June through subscriptions to its theater, dance, classical and other seasons of performances. The center had generated more than $4.4m by this point a year earlier, according to data obtained by the Washington Post. The Post says that sales data was collected and shared by former Kennedy Center employees. The data was confirmed by a current staff member, who spoke to the Post on the condition of anonymity. Related: Arts groups for people of color steel themselves after Trump's NEA cuts: 'They poked the bear' Though the subscription data is only one source of revenue for the center, it could serve as an overall indicator of public standing. Other sources of revenue include donations, individual ticket sales and government funding. The Washington DC-based center's budget for operation was $268m in 2024. About $125m of that came from earned revenue, such as ticket sales, the Post reported. The employee who leaked the data told the paper: 'We understand providing information like this can be seen in a bad light. But we feel that it is necessary to show that mismanagement by the new leadership is becoming a real problem for the health of the organization.' The employee added that 'we feel that we no longer have a choice but to force complete transparency with the public' after several staffers were ignored or outright fired for their opinions. Trump's appointing himself to be the chairperson of the Kennedy Center in February – less than a month into his second presidency – has ensnared the institution in controversy. He has since reshaped the center's governing board with his own appointees. And the center's former president, Deborah Rutter, has been replaced by the Trump ally Richard Grenell. A boycott by Les Misérables cast members was the latest in a string of stars pulling out of shows and positions at the center since Trump assumed control. Several shows have been called off, including a stop of the Hamilton tour that was canceled by the production itself, and Finn, a coming-of-age story about a young shark, which was canceled by the Kennedy Center. Trump had previously posted on social media expressing his desire to eliminate 'drag shows' and 'woke' content from the venue but did not clarify which productions he was targeting.
