The Bristol-born presenter, 30, began hosting ITV's hit series in 2023, getting a £750,000 payday after impressing bosses with her fun and flirty style.
With the current season due to end next month, Maya — who has an estimated worth of £1.5million — will have to decide whether to bid farewell to the island for a final time.
This week, Maya and Ruben were spotted kissing at a luxury beach club in Ibiza.
She has been spending time there with the Manchester City defender in between filming for Love Island in Majorca.
But a source said: 'It's still early days regarding next year's host. Talks haven't begun yet as to whether Maya will return for the next series.
Power couple
'ITV bosses love Maya and she has been an amazing asset to Love Island. She is hot property in TV at the moment, so it will be a case of her weighing up the opportunities.'
It comes as The Sun revealed that Maya has won the part of a gangster's wife in Guy Ritchie's hit Netflix series The Gentlemen, which she described as her 'dream role'.
Meanwhile, Maya is also being eyed to front a new entertainment show for Amazon Prime in what is tipped to be a megabucks deal.
She has held talks with the streaming giant to present a programme with a 'family connections' format.
A source said: 'Amazon's streamer has made strong moves into reality with Clarkson's Farm and Molly-Mae's series, but hasn't explored shiny-floor entertainment programming. Maya would be part of that.'
Maya Jama QUITS Love Island Games as she's replaced by Vanderpump Rules star
Since rising to fame, Maya has been a Vogue cover star, replaced Kate Moss as the face of beauty giant Rimmel London and was snapped up by Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana — all in 2023.
It's a world away from her leaving home at 16 to pursue her dream of presenting in London.
She recalled: 'I was broke, pretending I'd lost my Oyster public transport card every day so I could get to work. Hustling my little way around London, having £1 chicken shop meals every day.
I know what makes me happy and I know what I like.

'But I was happy. I was working and I was living in London, I felt like I was getting somewhere.
"I'd work as much as I could.'
She held down part-time jobs at two clothes shops and worked as a runner for production firm Jump Off TV.
But times were tough as she survived with no basic facilities while bunking at a relative's house — meaning she couldn't even shower.

She said on video series Now You Know with Julie Adenuga: 'I was working at Urban Outfitters and Lipsy in Westfield at the same time.
"During those times, when I was living at my family member's house, it wasn't a very nice environment. No gas, no electricity, and washing at Urban Outfitters in their sinks.
'We didn't have gas sometimes, so it would either be a kettle job or I would just go to the toilet and flannel it up. I was in the trenches for a bit.'
Away from her life as a telly star, Maya confirmed that she was dating Portugal star Ruben, 28, in May.
Not afraid to walk away
She caught the footballer's eye in November at the MTV European Music Awards in Manchester, four months after her split from rapper Stormzy.
The lovebirds were spotted for the first time in public on New Year's Eve in Ibiza. Fast-forward seven months and the pair have become the latest power couple — posting adoring snaps on Instagram to their combined 7.5million followers.
Last year, she and Stormzy called it quits ten years after they first started dating.
In between their on-off relationship, Maya had a whirlwind engagement to basketball player Ben Simmons. The pair split in August 2022.
Maya previously revealed that she is not afraid to walk away from a relationship if it does not feel right, saying: 'I know what makes me happy and I know what I like.'
On Now You Know, which aired in April on My5 and YouTube, she added: 'I have curated this lovely little life for myself and my friends.'

Love Island's Meg reignites biggest ever villa feud with sly comments after bullying row
LOVE Island star Meg Moore left fans raging with some sly comments - proving the show's biggest ever divide is still rumbling on. The most recent series of Love Island saw the villa play host the worst ever divide among Islanders, with the girls split into two camps. 3 Meg couldn't resist a few digs as she opened up about her time in the villa Credit: Instagram 3 Throughout the series she clashed with bombshells who tried to turn Dejon's head Credit: Shutterstock 3 Dejon and Meg were dumped from the villa by their fellow Islanders Credit: ITV Meg's team included Helena Ford and Megan Forte Clarke, while finalists Shakira Khan, Yasmin Pettet and Toni Laites kept their distance from the girls. But Meg, 25, also faced fierce competition from the revolving door of latecomers, as boyfriend Dejon Noel-Williams went on a number of dates. Speaking in a new interview with Dejon, 26, Meg was asked about Movie Night and the moment his connection with bombshell Andrada Pop was revealed. She said: 'Movie Night was the worst night in the villa for me. I had a few of the girls on me, and obviously the Andrada situation. 'At the end of the day, we're in Love Island for the experience. People are tested. The past is the past.' And Meg couldn't resist a dig at the ex-Islanders who returned to dump her and Dejon from the villa. She said: 'The girls that had been flirting and been on dates with D, we always knew they were sending us home - and there were quite a few of them up there!' But fans were quick to respond when a clip of the chat was shared on social media. One wrote: "The girls didn't just flirt with Dejon, he flirted back." And another said: "Always blaming then girls and never her man. This is why I don't like Mug." Love Island fans spot Shakira's 'smug' reaction as Meg and Dejon come under fire - did you? The show was previously hit by more than 9,000 Ofcom complaints after furious viewers hit out over the treatment of Shakira Khan in the villa. Meg and Shakira, 22, clashed several times, but it was during a challenge which saw the Islanders share brutal opinions about each other when things came to a head between the girls. After Meg accused Shakira of talking about her and Dejon behind their backs, she fired back: 'I don't know why you keep acting like we're the best of mates in here. "From day one, you were very standoffish with any girl that was posed as a threat.' Meg responded: 'You won't be my friend on the outside.' But Shakira fired back: 'I will never speak to you on the outside. I honestly can't stand you sometimes.'

Gary Lineker ‘can't wait' to host new ITV show The Box after BBC exit
The former footballer, 64, who left the BBC One sports show in May, said he was excited and 'can't wait' to host The Box. In the show, 10 yellow boxes house a celebrity contestant who will be transported to unknown locations, before being released to face whatever game awaits on the other side of the door. Each week two players will face The Duel, a finale in which the loser leaves the competition for good. Lineker, who had presented Match Of The Day since 1999, said an emotional goodbye in an early departure from the broadcaster on May 26. It followed a social media row after he shared a post about Zionism, which featured a depiction of a rat, historically an antisemitic insult. Lineker, who was the BBC's highest-paid presenter, issued an unreserved apology for the social media video he shared, which led to his early exit from the BBC. Lineker was due to host BBC Sport's coverage of the FA Cup in the 2025-26 season. Lineker said: 'I can't wait to host The Box. I've always felt right at home in the box on a football pitch and whilst this is a different proposition, the fundamentals are similar. 'The contestants will have to quickly and masterfully work out how each game works, whilst also trying to get ahead of the competition to take control. 'It's going to be unpredictable and thrilling to watch, and I'm excited that I get to have a front row seat to all the action.' Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment, reality and daytime commissioning at ITV, said: 'Gary is the perfect fit for The Box, an entertaining, exhilarating and immersive new format.' Dan Adamson, chief content officer at production company Twofour, added: 'We're delighted to be making The Box with ITV and Seefood TV. 'From the first time we saw those iconic yellow boxes open in an incredible location we were hooked. Now, with Gary on board, we have the ideal master of ceremonies to make this real event telly, he is after all a man who knows what it's like under pressure in the box. 'He's sure to raise the competitive spirit as our cast bursts out of those boxes, into unknown, ambitious and spectacular challenges.' The Box was first launched on TV2 in Norway in January this year. ITV's version of the show will be filmed in the UK later this year and air in 2026. Lineker also co-hosts The Rest Is Football podcast, which moved to internet sports streaming platform DAZN after he left the BBC.
