Fleetwood Mac's ‘Greatest Hits' Mounts A Quick And Mighty Comeback
Fleetwood Mac lands three albums on U.K. charts this week, with Greatest Hits returning, Rumours ... More appearing on six tallies, and 50 Years – Don't Stop reaching a new peak. Three of Fleetwood Mac's albums appear on the United Kingdom's charts this week. That's not an unusual performance for the act, though it is still impressive for a band that hasn't produced brand new material in quite some time — especially considering the fact that two of the winning sets are compilations powered by songs that were released decades ago, if not half a century back.
Two of these efforts managed to find space on rankings during the prior frame, in what was an especially competitive period, while one was nowhere to be found. Now, as one compilation returns to multiple tallies, Fleetwood Mac's masterpiece also bounces back onto a single list, as interest — and seemingly sales — in the group's catalog grows.
Once again in the U.K. this frame, Greatest Hits returns to a pair of rosters as it sells well enough to hit multiple tallies. The set reappears at No. 85 on the Official Albums Sales chart and comes in five spots beneath that position, at No. 90, on the Official Physical Albums roster. It's far from new to either list, but it wasn't present just a few days ago.
Rumours, one of the most successful and acclaimed releases in history, also manages to return to one U.K.-based tally this frame. The Fleetwood Mac masterpiece reenters the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 13 — and that's far from the only list on which it appears in the country.
Fleetwood Mac's Rumours can currently be found on six U.K. rankings. As it returns to the vinyl-only list, it also rises on the other five thanks to strong streaming activity and an increase in sales.
Rumours sits inside the top 40 on all but one roster, as it lands at No. 46 on the Official Album Downloads chart. It lifts 40 or more spaces on both the Official Album Downloads and Official Physical Albums lists — though that's largely due to the departure of many Record Store Day releases, rather than a huge uptick in consumption.
50 Years – Don't Stop doesn't manage to return to any tallies in the U.K. this week, but it still grows in stature. The title appears on just two rosters, and while that's fewer than Rumours, it moves higher on both.
The compilation keeps at No. 3 on the Official Albums Streaming chart and jumps from No. 7 to No. 4 on the Official Albums list, the ranking of the most-consumed projects in the country. As it surges those three spots, it reaches a new all-time peak, years after its release.

The project also moves up five spots to No. 149 on the Billboard 200, which ranks overall consumption across all music styles. Greatest Hits has spent nearly the same amount of time on all three of those tallies, which suggests that since its debut, it has managed to largely hold on across the three lists, like a number of other popular collections from legendary bands with catalogs full of smash singles. The compilation is now up to 88 weeks on the Billboard 200 and 93 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. Aerosmith also scores a smash once again in America, as 'Dream On' reappears on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. This frame, the tune returns at No. 24 on the 25-spot tally. 'Dream On' has spent significantly more time on this list than Greatest Hits has on any of the rosters it currently appears on. The track has now racked up 252 frames as one of the most-streamed hard rock cuts in America — and it has previously reached No. 1.

Walton Goggins And Aimee Lou Wood Break Silence On Feud Rumours
Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have given a joint interview in which they addressed the media scrutiny they've been under in the last few months. The pair were co-stars in the most recent season of The White Lotus, but found themselves at the centre of speculation when it was spotted that they were no longer following one another on Instagram just before the finale aired. In fact, it even appeared that Walton had gone as far as blocking Aimee on the platform, although both parties had still been speaking favourably about one another at the time, most notably in separate social media posts, which were soundtracked by the Fleetwood Mac anthem Silver Springs. Walton then failed to join most of the cast at a viewing party for the White Lotus finale, in which both he and Aimee played pivotal roles. During a new interview with Variety, Walton put his absence down to his busy schedule as he had been filming the new season of Fallout. However, he told Aimee as part of their joint interview: 'I wish I would have been able to watch this with you. It was so cathartic and so painful, and I regret that. I really do.' Walton later added: 'There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. '[She] is Goldie Hawn. [She] is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.' 'We care about each other very deeply,' he added. The Emmy nominee also said that he'd chosen not to dispel the feud reports during a now-infamous interview with The Times because he didn't want to 'speak for both of us' when Aimee wasn't present. Similarly, she chose to remain schtum on the 'feud' reports until now because she felt anything she said would be misconstrued, instead opting to 'sit back and watch these people making something out of absolutely nothing'. 'And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I've gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.' It's noted in Variety 's piece that Walton had more of a personal connection to Thailand than most of the rest of the cast, as he went travelling near where The White Lotus was filmed years earlier after his first wife died by suicide. Branding the media furore 'ridiculous', he concluded: 'I'm emotional because we haven't been in the same city to ever talk about this. So for me, this is just so wonderful.' Variety noted that the interview took place on the first weekend of May, shortly before both actors walked the red carpet separately at this year's Met Gala. Since then, Walton's wife Nadia Conners has also spoken out about rumours of an affair between her husband and his White Lotus co-star, which she took in good humour.
