Why Did Kiran Dubey Disappear From TV After Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Actor Reveals
Actor Kiran Dubey spoke about her long break from TV after starring in key roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.
Veteran actress Kiran Dubey opened up about her absence from television after her roles in the iconic shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii."
Sharing her journey, she reflected on the reasons behind stepping away from the spotlight and how the decision shaped her personal and professional life. In an exclusive interview with IANS, Kiran revealed that she wanted to take some time to explore herself and to understand herself better. When asked about her sudden disappearance from the industry despite being part of iconic shows, the actress stated, 'Yes, I've done many shows, including some of the top ones. But I've always felt that my life should be a priority. I wanted to take some time to explore myself—my life and my spirituality—and to understand myself better. After working nonstop for nearly a decade, I felt it was necessary to step back for a while."
Kiran Dubey also shared what inspired her to make a comeback after so many years. '5th September is a very special film. It's actually the first Bollywood film made entirely in Uttarakhand. While many films have been shot there, this one is written, directed, and produced by Kunal Malla, a native of Uttarakhand and an educationist. It was a blessing to work with such a talented cast—Sanjay Mishra ji, Brijendra Kala ji, Kavin Dave, Deepraj Rana, Sarika Singh, and Kunal himself. New talents like Malleha Malla and Rishabh are also part of the film."
'I play the school therapist, a character with multiple shades, which makes it a very beautiful and important role. Though the screen time is limited, the depth of the character is truly meaningful. This is my first Hindi film, and it's one of the reasons I've returned to Mumbai," revealed Kiran Dubey.

Saiyaara stars Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda are ‘innocent kids', says composer Tanishk Bagchi: ‘Ahaan is humble, doesn't have tantrums or attitude'
The love for debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara continues to grow day by day, along with its box office numbers. The Mohit Suri directorial is earning a lot of praise from the audience and film industry. Several Bollywood celebrities including, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, and many others, appreciated Ahaan and Aneet's performances on social media. Now, in a recent interview, composer Tanishk Bagchi, the man behind Saiyaara's popular title track, opened up about recording it with the lead stars. While talking to News18 Showsha, he revealed that both Ahaan and Aneet were present in the studio during the recording of the song. 'The first time I met Ahaan was at Yash Raj Films when we were recording the title track. He's a very humble kid. He doesn't have the tantrums or the attitude of a hero. He's also a brilliant actor. At that time, I didn't get a glimpse of his acting chops but I liked his energy and presence,' he said. 'Later when I met him and Aneet, I had told them that my intuition is telling me that this film is going to be huge. I had that hunch that they're going to become very big stars. I also told them that when you become big, don't forget where you came from. So many people see success and fame and then start flying and become very different. I've seen so many people rising and falling suddenly,' Tanishk added. ALSO READ | Ahaan Panday was so nervous before first shot of Saiyaara, he and Aneet Padda are not corrupted, says co-star Rajesh Kumar: 'I thanked their parents for bringing them up so well' The composer also spoke about his reaction after watching Ahaan singing his song on-screen. He shared, 'When I watched the film, I realised that Mohit sir ne usko jaise train kiya tha, usne waise hi kaam kiya (he worked exactly the way Mohit Suri trained him). He followed his director through and through. They've that germ in them. I hope they keep their heads down and work hard. They're very lucky to have found a teacher like Mohit sir right in their first film. Maine unko yeh bhi kahan ki tum log innocent bachche ho, toh uss baat ko maintain karke rakhna (I told them to maintain their innocence).' Tanishk Bagchi also shared that there were two versions to the video of the title song of Saiyaara and Ahaan Panday was nailing both of them. 'One was the theatrical one and the other one was like a montage. Mohit sir showed me both. When I watched these videos, I felt that music perfectly baith raha hai Ahaan ke upar. It's always nice composing fresh sounds for fresh faces,' he mentioned. He compared the actor to late Rishi Kapoor for making an entire generation go gaga over his romantic hero avatar. 'I remember watching Rishi Kapoor sir. When he used to play the guitar or the piano, he would play it like he knows how to play it. That's how good his sync was. That's a skill set every actor should have. Mohit sir passed this on to Ahaan and it showed. Film mein kya attitude hai uska! I'm telling you, Ahaan is going to be our next big star,' he concluded. Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The movie also features Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola and Shaad Randhawa in key roles.
