Emirates wishes customers 'Holi Hai'

On 13 and 14 March, Emirates will be celebrating the most colourful festival in the world, wishing customers a happy Holi onboard select flights to India with refreshing Thandai drinks and sweet Holi treats.
Emirates' customers travelling to and from seven destinations in India – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai, will enjoy the much-loved Indian sweet Kesar Gujiya, alongside their meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The deep-fried dumpling stuffed with solidified milk and dried fruits will be served in a specially designed box, reminiscent of the colourful festival of Holi. On the 14 March, First and Business Class customers will be warmly welcomed with cold Thandai – a festive drink made from milk and nuts, flavoured with fragrant saffron and rose petals.
Customers can get into the holiday spirit with up to 180 Indian movies including new titles, classic Bollywood and regional Indian movies. Movies include new hits like Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Patna Shuklla, Shaitaan and many more. There is also a special collection of Yash Raj Films, Bollywood's 'father of romance.' Customers can also enjoy a variety of Indian TV shows, plus over 40 albums and playlists of Indian music including the latest Spotify playlists Desi Hits, Desi Pop, and Desi Hip Hop Mixtape.
Emirates' celebration of Holi underscores the airline's enduring connection with India, spanning 38 years of shared history and cultural affinity. Serving nine destinations in India with 167 weekly flights, Emirates connects millions of customers travelling to India from Dubai and from across its global network each year.

Emirates' leadership teams inaugurated services at each routes are operated by Emirates' wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering the airline's signature products and award-winning service, as well as seamless connections to Dubai and beyond to the airline's global Sultan, Emirates' Executive Vice President, Passenger Sales and Country Management said: 'Launching two new routes via Bangkok marks a significant milestone in strengthening Emirates' presence in Southeast Asia and reinforces our long-standing commitment to Thailand as a strategic gateway to the these new services, travellers can now experience seamless connectivity across three distinct destinations—Dubai, Bangkok, and either Da Nang or Siem Reap—with a single ticket. This would allow each airline to place its code on the other's flights on China-UAE trunk routes as well as beyond Beijing and Dubai to an expanded list of and Air China will also develop a framework for cooperation across cargo operations and respective frequent flyer loyalty programme, enhancing their value proposition for both travellers and further ensure seamless connectivity for customers, the two carriers will explore coordinating flight schedules or adjusting minimum connecting times. Once activated, customers of both airlines will benefit from a seamless booking process, single ticket itineraries and wider lounge access to new and exciting commercial cooperation, both carriers plan to exchange best practices in areas such as revenue management, data analytics, digitalisation, brand management and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), among others, through joint knowledge sharing and familiarisation in Chinese mainland From 30 July, Emirates will operate 49 weekly flights to the Chinese mainland, including double daily services to Beijing and Shanghai as well as daily flights to Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. The airline's continued expansion into the Chinese mainland reflects the deepening UAE-China bilateral ties and underscores Emirates' longstanding commitment to advancing the objectives of the Belt and Road Initiative.
