DC Studios May Have a Movie-Free SDCC This Year
If you were hoping to learn more about DC Studios' future movie slate at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, that might not be in the cards.
We recently learned Marvel Studios wasn't planning on having a Hall H panel for this year's San Diego Comic-Con. Now, it sounds like DC Studios is going to follow suit, at least for the cinematic side of its business.
In the Hollywood Reporter's recent Heat Vision newsletter, the outlet claims DC isn't looking to show off anything for Superman or Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow during the annual festivities. The former will have been out for two weeks by that point, and the latter isn't due for almost a full year later, not to mention other projects like The Batman Part II or The Authority seemingly haven't hit any real progress yet. As such, the studio is reportedly 'biding its time before making any reveals.'
What will be at SDCC this year, however, is Peacemaker. The HBO Max series' second season is dropping in mid-August, so DC Studios is said to be going 'all in,' said Heat Vision. 'Peacemaker will have a big footprint at the convention. […] And, while DC had no comment, there could be a Hall H panel for the show.' Lanterns, the other big DC show for HBO Max, is currently in production. Depending on how far along things are, it could potentially make an appearance of some kind.
San Diego Comic-Con runs July 24-27, and we'll have more information on what DC Studios plans to do for the event in the coming weeks.

Jason Isaacs supports Tom Felton for Harry Potter return on Broadway
Jason Isaacs has already booked his tickets to see Tom Felton in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The 62-year-old actor played Lucius Malfoy - the father of Tom's character Draco - in the Harry Potter movie franchise and he's delighted his former on-screen son will be reprising the role in the Broadway show. He wrote on X: "Saw you presenting on the Tonys tonight son - you looked good, sounded good and did great. Tickets booked for November x." He was responding to a clip of Tom, 37, on the red carpet on Sunday (08.06.25) where he reflected on Jason's performance in The White Lotus. He told E! News: "He's fantastic. He's superb in everything he does. "I've learned so much from him — just as much off screen as I have done on screen... I still call him dad and he still calls me son. "So, hi dad!" While Tom has never appeared on the New York stage before, his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe - who played the titular boy wizard in all eight films - has starred in five productions so has been only too happy to offer help and guidance to his friend. Tom told PEOPLE magazine: "My old school chum, Potter, Radcliffe, has done quite a bit of Broadway, so he's holding my hand and certainly helping me through all the things that are hard to learn. "But from what I gather, it's an amazing community of people. The fans are really, really gracious and excited. So I'm just thrilled to be part of it." Meanwhile, Jason has also addressed the latest casting news for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV revival, which included Johnny Flynn being revealed as the new Lucius Malfoy. In a video shared on Instagram discussing his former 'Operation Mincemeat' co-star, he said: "I just heard that the great Johnny Flynn with be playing Mr. Malfoy in the new HBO TV series, which is sensational news for Harry Potter fans, which I want because Johnny is a brilliant actor. "Irritatingly, he's a brilliant musician as well, and a really lovely I can't wait to see what he comes up with. "Johnny, if you're watching this, enjoy yourself." Elsewhere on Tuesday (09.06.25), it was confirmed that Lox Pratt has been cast as Draco, while Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby will play Petunia and Vernon Dursley, and Katherine Parkinson is also joining as Molly Weasley.

Snow White Maine Coon's ‘Funky Feet' Are Just Incredible
Snow White Maine Coon's 'Funky Feet' Are Just Incredible originally appeared on Parade Pets. Weird feet are a very real thing. Some people have them, some animals have them. Luckily for humans, we can typically hide our weird feet with shoes and socks, but animals aren't quite so lucky. Their feet are out in the open for all to see! On June 4th, one crisp, snow-white Maine Coon's "funky" feet were capturing people's hearts. It looks like his feet are wearing oven mitts! Name something cuter than that (spoiler alert, you can't): The Maine Coonies don't all have funky feet, but this boy does, and I love him for it. They're gorgeous! I'd kiss them if I could. I bet he makes excellent biscuits! This Maine Coon cat's name is Casper (because he looks like a ghost). He's one of three Maine Coons in his house, but if you ask me, he might just be the best one. I mean, so you see those absolute flippers? Casper doesn't even have extra toes or anything, his feet are just Like That! When he's not busy showing off his foot-thumbs, he's typically lounging around with his bestie, Dexter. They also have a sister, but she must think she's too good for them or something! Girls rule! Maine Coons grow to have absolutely massive paws, mostly because they end up being pretty massive cats. Their paws are not only huge and often equipped with cute little thumbs: they're usually very fluffy. So fluffy, in some cases, that their parents opt to shave around their digital pads (which is the government name for "toe beans"). You don't have to shave your Maine Coon cat anywhere if you don't want to, but it can have its advantages: Sanitary shaves around their backside reduce the probability of something getting caught in their fur. Shaving/clipping down the fur around their digital pads can help with maintaining a good grip on the floor. If they get to go outside, it reduces the possibility of dirt getting caught in their fur. Casper doesn't get shaved at all: he's perfect as he is, funky feet and everything included! 🐶🐾🐾 Snow White Maine Coon's 'Funky Feet' Are Just Incredible first appeared on Parade Pets on Jun 10, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jun 10, 2025, where it first appeared.

The BET Awards' 25th Anniversary opened in spectacular fashion, honoring the golden era of 2000s music with a star-studded lineup of performances. The 25th anniversary of the BET Awards opened with a nostalgic and electrifying celebration, paying homage to the golden era of 2000s music. This year's ceremony, centered around Black excellence and legacy, wasted no time delivering an unforgettable showcase, launching with ten powerhouse performances from some of the most celebrated artists of the decade. The night kicked off with high-energy hits, including Keyshia Cole's 'I Should Have Cheated,' Amerie's '1 Thing,' and Mýa's 'Case of the Ex.' Rap legend T.I. followed with an explosive two-song set, performing 'Bring Em Out' and 'What You Know.' Presented as a countdown by the iconic 106 & Park hosts, the star-studded opener continued with performances from Ashanti, Jim Jones, B2K, and more—each artist bringing their signature sound and style to the stage. 106 & Park, which aired on BET from 2000 to 2014, became a cultural phenomenon and a daily staple for Black youth. More than just a music video countdown show, it was a platform where hip-hop and R&B artists connected directly with fans through interviews, live performances, and moments that shaped the culture. The tribute brought back some of the show's most memorable hosts, including the iconic Free, Terrence J, Julissa Bermudez, Rocsi Diaz, and Keshia Chanté. While A.J. Calloway, Free's original co-host, couldn't make it, the energy and nostalgia of the reunion still lit up the stage. The countdown concluded with none other than Bow Wow—a former 106 & Park host himself—closing the sequence with his beloved hit 'Like You.' Later in the evening, the celebration of Black excellence and cultural legacy will continue with a prestigious moment: the Ultimate Icon Award. This highly anticipated honor will recognize Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin for their groundbreaking contributions to music and entertainment, celebrating their lasting impact on the industry.
