IdeaForge share price: Drone stock jumps 7%, gives 55% returns in one month. Do you own?
On June 4, approximately 23 lakh equity shares of IdeaForge Technology changed hands on the exchanges, significantly higher than its one-week average volume of 11 lakh shares.
The recent rally in IdeaForge comes on the back of heightened investor interest in defence and drone stocks, following the escalation of the India-Pakistan conflict. The Indian Army's 'Operation Sindoor', launched on May 7, showcased the country's indigenously developed drone and defence capabilities, including the destruction of key Pakistani air bases and the interception of incoming drones and missiles.
IdeaForge Technology share price has jumped over 70% since May 6 — just a day before the operation.
IdeaForge share price has gained 56% over the past month and 74% in the last three months. However, the drone stock is still down 4% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis and has declined 7% over the past year.
Despite the recent recovery, IdeaForge shares continue to trade significantly below their listing and issue prices. The company debuted on the bourses on July 7, 2023, with a stellar listing at ₹ 1,305.10 per share — over 94% above its issue price of ₹ 672. The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹ 864.10 on July 12, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹ 301 on April 7, 2025.
IdeaForge share price has been forming higher highs with strong volumes. The recent price upmove is supported by high volumes. The short-term bias for IdeaForge shares remains positive and we can see a rally towards ₹ 650 level, said Ruchit Jain, Vice President, Equity Technical Research, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.
Jain suggests a 'buy on dips' strategy and has an IdeaForge share price target of ₹ 650.
At 12:05 PM, IdeaForge Technology share price was trading 5.79% higher at ₹ 594.15 apiece on the BSE.

2025 Monsoon Session of Parliament: Lok Sabha passed 12 bills, Rajya Sabha 14 in amid Opposition protests
Twelve bills were passed by the Lok Sabha and 14 by the Rajya Sabha during the month-long monsoon session of Parliament, which has witnessed repeated disruptions, adjournments and walkouts. China and Pakistan Foreign Ministers agree to launch new economic corridor projects
Pakistan and China pledged to expand economic cooperation and investment under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a flagship program of China's Belt and Road Initiative, officials said. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Thursday. The two sides agreed to launch new projects through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, or CPEC, a flagship program of the Belt and Road Initiative, a Pakistani government statement said. The countries did not immediately share details of the proposed projects. Called 'One Belt, One Road' in Chinese, the Belt and Road Initiative has built power plants, roads, railroads and ports around the world and deepened China's relations with Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Mideast. It is a major part of Chinese President Xi Jinping's push for China to play a larger role in global affairs. Beijing has invested billions of dollars in Pakistan through CPEC, building roads, power plants and rail links to connect China's western Xinjiang region with the Arabian Sea port of Gwadar in southwest Pakistan, where some Chinese have been attacked by insurgents in recent years. The Foreign Ministers vowed to deepen collaboration in science, technology, industry and agriculture. Mr. Wang also urged Pakistan to ensure the safety of Chinese workers and engineers, who have come under attack by separatists in Balochistan province and elsewhere in recent years. Pakistan already has increased security for Chinese working on CPEC-related projects. China has long been one of Pakistan's key ally and financial backer, especially as Islamabad struggles with a prolonged economic crisis. The meeting came a day after Mr. Wang and Mr. Dar travelled to Kabul for a trilateral dialogue with Afghanistan's Taliban rulers on political and economic cooperation. Wang's stop in Pakistan also followed a visit to neighboring India earlier this week, where he held talks aimed at stabilizing strained relations between the two Asian giants.

FIR filed against journalist Abhisar Sharma for accusing Assam CM of engaging in communal politics
The Assam Police on Thursday filed a first information report against journalist and YouTuber Abhisar Sharma for accusing Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of engaging in communal politics. The Guwahati Crime Branch has filed the case against Sharma under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita pertaining to acts endangering national unity and sovereignty, promoting enmity between groups and making assertions prejudicial to national integration. The case was filed based on a complaint by Alok Baruah, a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the ideological parent of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Baruah can be seen in photographs with several state ministers such as Jayanta Malla Baruah and Pijush Hazarika, and with state BJP chief Dilip Saikia. Baruah alleged that Sharma ridiculed and denigrated the Union government and Assam government, and thus endangered national sovereignty. He claimed that the journalist 'ridiculed the principle of Ram Rajya [or the reign of the Hindu deity Ram], and openly accused the chief minister of Assam of communal politics'. The complainant alleged that Sharma claimed 'without any basis' that Sarma's politics was based solely on Hindu-Muslim polarisation. He claimed that through such comments, the journalist was trying to provoke disorder by portraying the state as corrupt, communal and illegitimate. A senior Guwahati Police officer told Scroll that the case was filed as Sharma 'was speaking against the country and its sovereignty'. Scroll also tried to contact Baruah to seek his comment on the case. This article will be updated if he responds. Sharma, in the video, had alleged that the Assam chief minister, by spreading hatred on the basis of religion, was diverting people's attention from serious matters. He had accused Sarma of running a 'propaganda campaign' against Muslims and madrasas. The case registered against Sharma came days after the Crime Branch in Guwahati on August 12 issued a summons to The Wire 's founding editor Siddharth Varadarajan in an FIR pertaining to an article on Operation Sindoor. The summons came even as the Supreme Court, on the same day, had granted Varadarajan and members of the foundation running the news outlet protection from arrest in another FIR filed by the Assam Police.
