JD Vance strolls through Disneyland during trip to Southern California
The Vice President, his wife Usha and two of their children were seen walking through Bayou Country.
The user who posted the video to X that was obtained by KTLA — @DisneyScoopGuy — said in a separate post that Vance and his family rode Tiana's Bayou Adventure. A third post from the same user showed Vance and his family going to the high-end 21 Royal restaurant located within the park.
Vance also appeared to take in the sights at Tom Sawyer's Island, too.
Members of Vance's advance team were seen throughout the area earlier in the week. Orange County Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, a Democrat, expressed frustration at the VP's trip to SoCal.
'I'm offended by the visit, because so many families are being terrorized by the policies from the federal government,' Sarmiento said.
Another Orange County Supervisor, Republican Don Wagner, offered a more tempered response, acknowledging Sarmiento's concerns but encouraging dialogue rather than division.
'I do think it's an opportunity for us, instead of casting stones, to cast a wider net,' Wagner said. 'We've had questions about ICE operations in Santa Ana. This could be a chance to engage rather than stay away.'
While there were no concrete reports as to why Vance is in SoCal (no public schedule of events was ever released) Sarmiento says he believes the VP and his family are on a leisure trip.
Vance is believed to be staying at the Grand Californian Hotel, which is adjacent to the park; demonstrators have gathered near the hotel to protest the Vice President's visit.

Back in the Oval Office, Zelenskyy wears a blazer and Trump doesn't shout
WASHINGTON (AP) — It was only a few months ago that U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last met in the Oval Office, but Monday's face-to-face between the two leaders looked markedly different. For much of their February exchange, during which Trump and Vice President JD Vance blasted Zelenskyy as 'disrespectful' and warned about future American support for his country, Zelenskyy crossed his arms and looked askance at the U.S. leaders. The presidents often spoke over each other, also gesturing disagreement. A conservative reporter, Brian Glenn, even asked Zelenskyy why he wasn't wearing a suit. Monday's meeting was rounded out with more smiles and pleasantries between Trump and Zelenskyy, as well as agreement on some points regarding Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine. Both men largely sat with their hands clasped in their laps, affably fielding questions from reporters. And Glenn, when called upon by the Republican U.S. president to speak, complimented Zelensky, saying, 'You look fabulous in that suit.' Trump chimed in right after: 'I said the same thing!'

Zelensky Hopes for a Less Fiery Oval Office Discussion
The last time President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine met with President Trump at the White House, it did not go well. In a remarkable blowup on Feb. 28, during what was to be a visit to coordinate a plan for peace, Mr. Trump and Vice President JD Vance berated Mr. Zelensky as the cameras rolled. This time, Mr. Zelensky is bringing reinforcements: At least seven European heads of state will join him in a show of unity against Russia. The group has helped coach Mr. Zelensky on how to better engage with Mr. Trump and met with the Ukrainian leader on Sunday to prepare. Mr. Zelensky's last meeting with Mr. Trump, intended to talk about a way out of the war and finalize a deal in which Ukraine would give the United States a share of its mineral revenue, was dramatically cut short after Mr. Trump and Mr. Vance took turns yelling at Mr. Zelensky. They accused him of being ungrateful for U.S. support and told him he was in no position to set terms of a peace deal. Mr. Trump told Mr. Zelensky, 'You don't have the cards right now.' 'I'm not playing cards,' Mr. Zelensky replied. 'I'm very serious, Mr. President. I'm the president in a war.' 'You're gambling with World War III,' Mr. Trump retorted. Mr. Vance jumped in and asked, 'Have you said 'thank you' once this entire meeting? No.' 'A lot of times,' Mr. Zelensky responded. 'Even today.' Mr. Zelensky ended up leaving the White House early and Mr. Trump suspended military aid to Ukraine a few days later. (President Trump later agreed to resume U.S. military assistance and the mineral deal was eventually signed.) Monday's meeting comes on the heels of Mr. Trump's summit on Friday with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, the first face-to-face meeting between the American and Russian leaders since Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022. Mr. Zelensky was not invited. While the meeting ended inconclusively, Mr. Trump on Saturday backed Mr. Putin's plan for a direct peace agreement that would most likely have Ukraine cede territory to Russia. On Monday, Mr. Zelensky will meet first with Mr. Trump. Then they will be joined by the larger group for a working lunch and meeting. The group's goals, according to President Emmanuel Macron of France, are to show a united front between Europeans and Ukrainians and to defend the interests of Europeans. Mr. Macron and Mr. Zelensky will be joined by Germany's chancellor, Friedrich Merz; Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain; Giorgia Meloni, Italy's prime minister; NATO's secretary general, Mark Rutte; and Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Union's executive arm.
