OPEN// PM praises pivotal role of EgSA to realize SDGs

CAIRO, March 15 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has lauded the pivotal role of the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) to achieve sustainable development goals through adopting space technology.
The premier's remarks came Saturday during the 10th meeting of the agency's board at its headquarters in New Cairo in the presence of Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, CEO of EgSA Sherif Sedqi and a host of respective officials.
Madbouli extended thanks to the agency board members over their great efforts to contribute to the national development process.
For his part, Sedqi commended the premier's ongoing support for the agency, reviewing a report on remarkable achievements made by EgSa over the past period.
During the meeting many topics were discussed, most notably the agency's preparations for launching new satellites and Egypt's hosting of the NewSpace Africa 2025 conference on April 21-24 under the theme of 'Empowering Africa's Economy through Space-Driven Innovation', Spokesman for the Cabinet Mohammed El Homsany said.

ARISH, Egypt, Aug 18 (MENA) – Foreign Affiars, Emigration and Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty on Monday praised the central role of the Egyptian Red Crescent's main logistics hub in Arish in coordinating the flow of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid into the war-ravaged Gaza. During a joint visit with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, Abdelatty inspected the hub's operations, commending its efficiency in handling aid deliveries. The visit was also attended by Social Solidarity Minister Maya Morsy. Abdelatty said Egypt had facilitated the entry of over 550,000 tons of aid—more than 70% of total humanitarian assistance sent to Gaza—thanks to enhanced logistical coordination. The delegation toured the facility, which serves as a key link in Egypt's aid response, observing sorting, packaging and distribution processes aimed at streamlining the supply chain to the besieged enclave.
