One savvy shopper clocked the giant goodies and raced to share the find on a foodie Facebook group. The post went down a storm, racking up 1.4k reactions and 1.3k comments from fellow sweet-toothed fans. One joked: "About time they made a biscuit big enough to soak up the tea in a Sports Direct mug!" Another chipped in: "Or you could buy the giant biscuits from m and s and spread with caramel." But not everyone was impressed, with some branding the price a bit steep. "2 pound think that's a bit extreme tbh," wrote one user, while another fumed: "Think how many standard sized biscuits you can get for the same cost.... another Morrisons rip-off." Others were quick to point out there's more than one giant biscuit in town – warning shoppers: "Don't be missing out on trying this custard cream!" It comes hot on the heels of M&S causing a stir earlier this summer with its own monster bakes – giant versions of the legendary Custard Cream and Bourbon biscuits. From Percy Pigs to Colin the Caterpillar, M&S is no stranger to whipping shoppers into a frenzy, and these big bikkies were no exception. The nostalgic treats – priced at £3 – had customers rushing to the home baking aisle. Vodka to the Rescue: Morrisons' Unconventional Emergency Tactics Unlike their traditional counterparts, the M&S giants come without filling, encouraging shoppers to pimp them up at home. The supermarket urged fans to 'add layers of ice cream, sprinkles and even a touch of sauce, for a sensational treat' – or even use them in trifles or tiramisu. Social media lit up with excitement, with comments like "Big biscuit news!" and "We need" flooding in. Meanwhile, B&M shoppers are dashing to stores to bag a brand-new twist on a McVitie's classic – for just 85p. The biscuit giant has given one of its best-loved snacks a makeover with the launch of McVitie's Club Layers Orange. A lunchbox favourite for more than a century, the Club has been reimagined into a chocolate-coated wafer bar packed with punchy orange cream. The treat first landed exclusively in Spar on June 30, before rolling out to other retailers – including B&M – from July 21. Fans can expect the same chunky indulgence as the original, but with layers of crisp wafer, zesty cream and a thick milk chocolate coating.

How to save money on your supermarket shop THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop. You can look out for yellow or red stickers on products, which show when they've been reduced. If the food is fresh, you'll have to eat it quickly or freeze it for another time. Making a list should also save you money, as you'll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket. Going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills too. This means ditching "finest" or "luxury" products and instead going for "own" or value" type of lines. Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes where you can get cheap prices if they're misshapen or imperfect. For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme, offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50. If you're on a low income and a parent, you may be able to get up to £442 a year in Healthy Start vouchers to use at the supermarket too. Plus, many councils offer supermarket vouchers as part of the Household Support Fund.
