
NEP Group Appoints Waleed Isaac as President of NEP Middle East and Asia
An accomplished, results-oriented leader, Mr. Isaac brings a wealth of expertise to the company as it continues to grow and invest in the region to support broadcasters, sports leagues, rightsholders and content producers of local and global major broadcast productions and live events. Based in Dubai, he brings deep experience with both market and cultural insights from his work across the Middle East, India and Singapore, as well as internationally in cities ranging from Atlanta to London to Paris, along with many others. Mr. Isaac is fluent in three languages: English, Arabic and French.
Prior to joining NEP, Waleed Isaac has spent his 30+-year career working in complex industries like large-scale events, energy, infrastructure and oil & gas with global corporations including GE, BrandSafway, and, most recently, Loxam Group, where he has served as Regional COO for the Middle East since 2022. He has worked with several businesses that support the media industry. An electrical engineer by training and an MBA, Mr. Isaac's experience encompasses an understanding of both the operational and commercial sides of business.

Dubai on Tuesday launched an initiative aimed at providing businesses with seamless access to multiple free zones, while maintaining a single license, as the city aims to widen its investor-friendly business environment. Schlumberger secures carbon storage contract for North Sea project
22 July 2025 19:07 NEW YORK (dpa)The US energy company Schlumberger has secured a technologies and services contract for a carbon storage site development in the North Sea, the company announced on infrastructure is set to transport and permanently store up to an initial 4 million metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, with start-up expected in contract, agreed with the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP), includes drilling, measurement, cementing, fluids, completions, wireline, and pumping noew rebranded as SLB, will use its Sequestri carbon storage solutions portfolio featuring technologies designed for carbon storage site development to build six carbon storage is a joint venture formed by BP, Equinor, and TotalEnergies. The launch introduces a new way for customers in Saudi Arabia to explore, shop, and receive support from Apple. Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's Senior Vice President of Retail and People, said the company is excited to connect with customers and help them experience how Apple innovations can enrich daily life. The Apple Store online offers a personalized shopping experience tailored to users' existing Apple products. Through the Apple Store app, customers can compare models, save items, and track orders with ease. Apple has also introduced configure-to-order options for Mac, allowing users to customize chips, memory, and storage. For the first time, customers can enjoy free engraving in both Arabic and English on selected products such as AirPods, AirTag, Apple Pencil, and more. • Customers can personalize their Apple Watch combinations • iPhone 16 lineup features Apple Intelligence and enhanced privacy Apple also revealed a range of retail services for Saudi Arabia. Shoppers can get live support via chat or phone to choose the right product. After purchasing, Apple team members are available online for help with setup, switching to iOS, and cellular activation. To improve accessibility, Apple introduced an affordability solution via Tamara, offering Buy Now Pay Later with four monthly installments at 0% interest. The Apple Trade In program is now available in Saudi Arabia. Customers can exchange eligible devices for credit or have them recycled for free. Apple has further announced plans to open its first physical Apple Store locations in Saudi Arabia by 2026. The first flagship location is expected in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
