Justin Bieber turns to son Jack for comfort as marriage woes with Hailey deepen
As rumors swirl around Justin and Hailey Bieber's marriage, a heartfelt post from the singer and a candid interview from the model have painted a more complex picture behind the scenes
Justin Bieber is focusing on his nine-month-old son Jack Blues, sharing a touching photo on Instagram just hours after Hailey Bieber stepped out in New York without her wedding ring.
In the black-and-white image, their baby reaches for Justin's ear while he gently holds his hand. Despite ongoing speculation about their relationship, Hailey liked the post - a subtle show of support.
Fans filled the comments with encouragement. 'Jack is the most important person in your life,' one user wrote. Another added, 'Good dad. You are a survivor, you are brave,' while a third chimed in, 'Sending you nothing but good energy and positive vibes, bro.'
The post came shortly after Justin shared a video clip to his Stories on Sunday, featuring a voiceover saying: 'B** if you're giving me the silent treatment at least tell me why! I have anxiety and I have overthinking left and right they go hand-in-hand. If you give me any room for error, there will be error!'
Fans quickly assumed the message was aimed at Hailey, especially as she'd recently been spotted without her ring multiple times.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Justin has been 'irritated by Hailey,' claiming she 'can be superficial about the way their relationship looks in the public eye.' Meanwhile, Hailey is reportedly frustrated by his 'lack of motivation,' and the couple is 'not good,' though still hopeful things can improve.
Despite current tension, the couple has spoken warmly of each other in recent interviews. Last month, Justin told Vogue: 'I've done a lot of dumb things in my life, but the smartest thing I've ever done was marry Hailey. I'm walking in the days I always dreamed of.'
Hailey echoed his sentiment, saying Justin calls her a 'superhero' and describing motherhood as 'my biggest teacher so far. The biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently.'
Justin praised her multitasking talents, writing: '[Hailey is] in the spotlight, and has the attention because of her effortless knack for style, business, art, and fashion. And the way she makes being a mom and wife look easy.'
In the same Vogue feature, Hailey opened up about the difficult birth of their son last August, which included 18 hours of labor, no epidural, and a frightening postpartum hemorrhage.
'That st was so crazy,'** she said. 'That was not fun… I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing.'
She added: 'I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind… I trust my doctor with my life. But it was a little bit scary.'
Hailey also addressed how postpartum life and public scrutiny have affected her: 'Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I've ever gone through… learning a new version of myself is very difficult. And doing that while seeing divorce rumors online? It's a mindfk. I cannot even begin to explain it. It's a crazy life to live.'

Check out this new Australian restaurant on Ann Siang Hill with a hidden underground bar
Tranquil by day, buzzy by night – Ann Siang Hill and Club Street are home to some of the best-kept secrets of Singapore's food and drink scene. This year, the trendy locale welcomes an Australian bistro and hidden underground bar, taking over the corner unit at the famous three-way intersection beside Ann Siang Hill Park. The new Club Street Laundry is anything but a laundromat, but the restaurant does pay homage to its past life as Hup San Laundry, frequented by second-generation immigrants nearly a century ago. The 'Hup San' name also lives on in Hup San Social Club, a cocktail bar inspired by the many Chinese social clubs that once lined the street in the early 1900s. If you're looking for a place to people-watch, Club Street Laundry fits the bill perfectly. The breezy, open-concept bistro has high tables perched along walkways, staring out at the charming shophouses around the neighbourhood. You'll quickly spot the happy hour board splashed out with $15 house wines, tap cocktails, and full-pint Peronis from 4pm to 7pm on weekdays. View this post on Instagram A post shared by @clubstreetlaundry The menu is positioned as modern-Australian, but really, Chef Justin Hammond (previously from Neon Pigeon and Underdog Inn) works his way around any and every flavour profile just fine, with dishes based off his travels around the world. We have no qualms devouring the flame-grilled beef cheeks which sit atop a bed of buttery mash ($33). Cooked overnight in a master-stock of dashi, orange peel, star anise and other spices, the beef comes out fork-tender without even a need for chewing, and the ahi verde (a type of South American pesto) adds pleasant acidity to each bite. Despite our biases against the usual beurre blanc, fennel, dill and fish combination, the charcoal-grilled sea bream ($31) turns out excellently executed. Pickled fennel graces the top of the sea bream for a respite from the richness of that lemon-caper sauce, and the fish is as fresh as it gets, with a nice and slightly bitter char on the skin. The charred leeks ($15) are Chef Justin's memories of his mother's stuffed chicken and leek dish on a plate. Garlic croutons stand in place of chicken stuffing, while fried sage leaves are added for an herby touch. Even the gravy is a sticky, collagen-rich chicken stock reduction. But for an easy table favourite, order the wood-fired mushrooms ($15) instead, featuring king oyster and maitake mushrooms with celeriac cream and chives. Some seven cocktails (from $18) grace the menu here, most of which are on the refreshing, spritzy end of the spectrum. These are all courtesy of June Baek, Hup San's Beverage Director. For a true taste of Baek's mastery, you'll want to retreat into Hup San Social Club once you're done with dinner for the full experience. A flight of stairs down from behind Club Street Laundry's kitchen will take you to the snug 12-seater bunker (previously home to Ssal Bar) buzzing with energy and some of the warmest hospitality we've received in a while. Baek has honed her craft across South Korea and Vietnam, followed by stints at Madame Fan and MO Bar in Singapore. Now, in her very own space, she shakes up cocktails inspired by both her Korean heritage and local Singaporean flavours. HSSC's debut menu Do What Brings You Joy is a two-pager spread of 14 cocktails, with interesting savoury concoctions like Cold Soup ($26), Achar ($25), and The French Fries 2.0 ($26). Having heard rave reviews of Baek's Cold Soup, we make a mental note not to leave without trying it. The tipple is a clever reimagination of oi-naengguk, a summer dish popular in Ulsan, Baek's hometown. First impressions: the drink is presented in a metal cup reminiscent of Korean stainless steel crockery, and we get a faint whiff of fresh cucumbers off the bat. Don't let that fool you though – the Tokki Soju hits hard, while apple vinegar adds a punchy sting, followed by the distinct taste of kelp dashi and a nutty hint of sesame. Baek recommends the Camellia ($25) for those who love sour flavour profiles. The rum, galangal, and rose blend is one that's close to her heart, having first debuted as a competition cocktail. Meanwhile, The French Fries 2.0 is as irreverent as it gets, featuring Monkey Shoulder whisky infused with fries, Heinz ketchup, tomato, chilli, and salt. Juliana Marins slipped and plunged more than 1,600 feet from a hiking trail along the crater rim of Mount Rinjani on Saturday morning. She had been backpacking through Southeast Asia since February, documenting her solo trip on social media. In heartbreaking footage, shared by a pal she met along her travels, Juliana could be seen joking and dancing in the days before her death. More clips showed the adventurous 26-year-old showing off the stunning vistas while riding on mopeds. Other shots revealed the dancer jumping into picturesque sinkholes and exploring caverns. In a tragic last video, Juliana and her friend Frederica, jibed about the view at the top of Mount Rinjani as it had been concealed by cloud cover. "I met Juliana the day before the trip. We were both traveling alone. We made it all the way to the top. It was very difficult. We climbed about 1,500 meters," Federica told G1 after the horror. In the clip Federica says sarcastically: "The view is amazing, you can tell it was so worth it." Juliana jokes: "Yeh, we did it for the view, so I'm glad, amazing!". This comes as distressing drone footage was also released which revealed Juliana trapped in a pit on the volcano as rescuers tried to reach her. Tourists on the Indonesian island of Lombok spotted her inside the crater after hearing screams for help. Juliana survived the fall but was unable to climb back up due to her injuries and had no access to food, water or shelter. The first rescue team was dispatched at 2.32pm local time on Saturday. After the initial alarm was raised, six more rescue teams tried to reach her. They were supported by two helicopters and equipment including an industrial drill. Cold temperatures and fog made search efforts on Sunday harder to navigate but a drone was able to locate Juliana. 10 A video shared by Juliana showed her dancing with pals on her travels Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins 10 Other shots in the video revealed the dancer jumping into picturesque sinkholes Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins 10 More clips showed the adventurous 26-year-old riding on mopeds Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins However, when rescuers descended the volcano on Monday, she was no longer in the same spot. Rescuers finally located her on Tuesday, but it was tragically too late. Her family confirmed her death on social media, writing: "Today, the rescue team managed to reach the place where Juliana Marins was. "With great sadness, we inform you that she did not survive. "We remain very grateful for all the prayers, messages of affection and support that we have received." Earlier this week, Nikolas Osman, spokesperson for the East Lombok Police, said Juliana was hiking in a group and fell after suffering fatigue. He said: "While heading to the summit of Rinjani on the way to the Cemara Tunggal area, the victim experienced fatigue and the guide at that time advised her to rest. "Then the five guests in the tour group were taken by the guide to continue the journey. "However, by the time he returned to fetch her, the Brazilian woman was already missing." Indonesian authorities deployed three helicopters to try and rescue Juliana, according to West Nusa Tenggara governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal. Iqbal told reporters: 'One helicopter from the Indonesian Armed Forces and national search and rescue agency (Basarnas) is expected to arrive at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (BIZAM) around 2pm local time today.' Before the incident, Juliana had visited Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. 10 In distressing drone footage, Juliana is seen trapped in a pit on the volcano as rescuers try to reach her 10 The young woman tragically died while hiking up Mount Rinjani 10 The search for Juliana was hampered by fog
