The actor, who shares two children, Samaira and Kiaan, with Sunjay, attended his funeral in New Delhi and the subsequent prayer meet. Karisma, who turned 51 on June 25, chose not to celebrate her birthday this year due to the family's tragic loss. However, on Thursday, she acknowledged the heartwarming wishes from fans and friends.
The actor took to her Instagram handle and wrote a brief note on her Stories, 'Thank you everyone for ur warm wishes and support (red heart and folded hands emojis).' This is the first time Karisma has shared a post since the death of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur.

On Karisma Kapoor's special day, her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a supportive note and acknowledged the tough times they have gone through. 'This is my most favourite picture of you both (heart emoji)… To the strongest and the bestest girl in the universe… It's been a tough year for us,' she wrote in the caption.

Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12 during a polo match in England. His friend and business associate Suhel Seth told ANI, 'Sunjay died of a heart attack, apparently after swallowing a bee during a polo match in England.'
Sunjay tied the knot with Karisma Kapoor in 2003. In 2014, Karisma and Sanjay filed for divorce with mutual consent, which was finalised in 2016. He got married to Priya Sachdev after a year of his divorce from Karisma.

New Delhi [India], June 26 (ANI): As Indian Air Force (IAF) Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, the pilot of the Axiom Mission 4, revealed that he loves to listen to Shah Rukh Khan's 'Swades' movie song 'Yuh Hi Chala Chal', Bollywood singer Udit Narayan expressed his happiness and said that it is a moment of pride for the entire country. 'Yuh Hi Chala Chal' is a popular song from the 2004 movie Swades. The song was composed by Oscar-winner AR Rahman, and the lyrics were penned by veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. Speaking to ANI, Narayan said, 'I want to congratulate Shubhanshu Shukla and all the other pilots for the wonderful achievement to make the entire nation ki baat ye hai ki pehli baar Shubhanshu Shukla ye gaana gaate huye aage space mein gaye very happy thing that this song is in his playlist' The vocals of the song were given by Udit Narayan, Kailash Kher and Hariharan. It is a motivational track that encourages the movie's main character (SRK) to practice perseverance and follow one's own path.
