Dylan Mo hopes to make the most of golden opportunity on Winning Wing
Restricted by a lack of opportunities this season, Mo has booted home four wins from 80 rides with Francis Lui Kin-wai's Winning Wing his most recent success.
The 31-year-old produced a brilliant ride on the Australian import, pushing forward from barrier eight to land one off in fourth en route to a stylish victory over 1,800m at Sha Tin.
Mo will be out to add to his association with Winning Wing when the son of Preferment steps up to 2,000m in Sunday's Class Three Chatham Handicap.

'This one is a very tough horse. I'm very happy I can still ride him. I need to thank the owner – he gives me support to keep riding this one,' said Mo, who has ridden Winning Wing in all of his five starts.
A winner over 1,000m at his only pre-import run when known as Samid, Winning Wing started his Hong Kong career on a positive note with several good runs, including a close second to Sky Trust over 1,600m in February.
After an unlucky fifth to Packing Turbine when backed into $3.2 favouritism, he held off the fast-finishing Gold Master and Flying Luck to narrowly score his first win in the city last start.
He reopposes Gold Master four pounds worse off on Sunday in a competitive race that also features the likes of Family Jewel, who backs up from a slashing 1,600m triumph last Sunday, Packing Turbine, Enthralled and Mighty Strength.
However, in Mo and Winning Wing's favour is the advantage of barrier one.
'This race is a little bit tougher, I think, but I will try my best to get a good run and get the win,' Mo said.
'I ride him every day, so I know the horse. I'm very lucky that I've got a good draw.'
Mo will also ride Speedy Trident, Wonderstar and Mr Vigor on Sunday.

"They gave me a free role in the final days," Groves said after both Philipsen and Van der Poel pulled out. "I'm going to enjoy this one and celebrate with my team and enjoy the Champs tomorrow." Just 158 riders crossed the rolling hills at the foot of the Jura, and many looked haggard after the fast racing in the Alps. Photo: Reuters A relentless British and Irish Lions were ferocious in attack and solid in defence to edge a dogged Australia and win a bruising first Test 27-19 in Brisbane on Saturday. The tourists repeatedly laid siege to the Wallabies' line for a 17-5 lead at the break before soaking up second-half pressure to bank the win with both sides scoring three tries. A late Australia try meant the scoreline flattered a poor Wallabies side, with the Lions never looking in trouble after opening up a 24-5 lead shortly after half-time. Played in front of 52,229 fans at a sold-out Suncorp Stadium, many wearing the Red of the Lions, the tourists proved too strong for a brave, but outgunned Australian outfit. With Scottish fly-half Finn Russell pulling the strings in the backs and outstanding loose forwards Tom Curry and Tadhg Beirne dominating up front, the Lions showed why they went into the Test as firm favourites. But despite being behind for all of the match, the Wallabies didn't roll over, and fears of a huge defeat never materialised. Hugh Bowman eyes best Hong Kong season before a freshen up, and maybe some rides, in Europe
A 'delighted' Hugh Bowman is itching to head off to Europe for a break and maybe even a few race rides, but first he's keen to better his Hong Kong personal best of 69 wins in a season. The star Australian sits on 68 victories with three meetings to go in the 2024-25 campaign and he has six chances to add to his tally at Happy Valley on Wednesday night. 'I'm delighted – it's been a pretty consistent year for me,' said the jockey. 'It's been a good, consistent flow of winners with the exception of being a little bit quiet through the November-December period and a little bit quiet through June. 'It's been an improvement on last year, but bearing in mind that last year I was injured for a period of time and I did struggle with careless riding suspensions. I've had a few this year but it hasn't been quite to the same extent as last year. 'That's an area I'd like to improve on again next season. I set a goal to ride 100 winners. I think that might have been a little bit ambitious, actually – I won't do that again – but I do think I can do better than I've done this year.' Bowman rates Enjoy Golf in the first section of the Class Four Garden Handicap (1,200m) and Prince Alex in the Class Four Green Handicap (1,650m) among his better hopes at the midweek meeting. And Prince Alex freshened up, a long time between runs from gate one – they're probably the chances, those two.' While Bowman is counting down the days until his flight out of Hong Kong, he admits he'll likely get itchy feet at some stage during the off-season and potentially look to do some riding while travelling. 'I can't wait to get away. It's been a long year for everyone but in saying that, I feel like I'm finishing the year full of enthusiasm,' he said. 'For me, two months [off] is a bit too long, but it is what it is. We'll have a break, freshen up and come back and hit the ground running. If the opportunity arises, I'll look to ride in Europe, whether in the UK or possibly France.'
