Levison Wood finds love! TV explorer, 43, hard launches his new girlfriend on social media - and she loves the outdoors just as much as he does

He was once described as Britain's most eligible bachelor, but now Levison Wood, has finally found love.
The television adventurer, 43, took to Instagram on Thursday to hard launch the new lady in his life.
The former Army officer-turned-author gushed: 'Over the years I've met many people on the road, but every now and then, someone comes along who doesn't just travel with you, but changes the pace of the journey entirely. This is Ana.
'We've been exploring a shared path together lately, one filled with plenty of adventures, challenges and commitment.
'An exciting new chapter awaits.'
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
He also shared some images of them together - one which included a picture of them canoeing, and another which saw them embracing in front of a vast mountain.
Judging by the images, it's clear the pair share a mutual love for the great outdoors.
Levison's followers were quick to throw their support behind the star, with one stating: 'Delighted to meet you Ana!! You two make a beautiful couple, good luck with all the travels and fun in your future xxx'
Another added: 'Wishing you many adventures together'
The 43-year-old has been open about his desire to find romance in the past, and even admitted to joining dating apps in the hope of doing so.
In an interview with MailOnline in 2021, the former soldier said: 'I used dating apps: I don't see a problem with it. I use them when I want to use them.
'That is how people meet these days, isn't it? How else can you meet your woman?'
Levison also opened up about exactly what his type is, saying: 'I don't like to put people into boxes.
'If a woman is intelligent, interesting and fun - that is the basis really. I don't really care what job they do or anything like that.
'It is also about being comfortable in somebody's company and enjoying spending time with them.'
After lockdown Levison was the victim of stalking, with the perpetrator jailed for 13 months.
Fiza Jabeen, a doctor, made Wood so fearful for his and his family's safety that he decided to sell his London home.
But after moving - and after Jabeen was made the subject of a restraining order - she tracked him down once again, visiting Levison's home at the time in Richmond.
The doctor was jailed for 13 months after admitting one offence of stalking and harassment having sent the TV personality 'explicit and unpleasant messages' via social media.
Levison's most recent endeavour - after a career where he served as a Major in the army, became a best-selling author and produced a host of documentaries - saw him embark on a tour called Walking the World: A Life of Exploration and Adventure.
The set of shows saw Levison delve into his 20 years as an explorer, during which he has witnessed the extraordinary, and tragic, on a number of occasions.
During an expedition along the 4000-mile long Nile River from Rwanda and Egypt, a journalist travelling with the explorer named Matt Power was overcome with heat stroke and tragically died. Levison called his death 'a haunting moment that stays with me every day'.
In his closest brush up with death, the 43-year-old almost lost his life during a trek across the Himalayas in 2015.
He came face to face with tigers, crocodiles and even a cannibal on the remarkable journey but it was a short car ride which was almost his undoing.
After being left with nowhere to sleep as night fell, Wood and his colleagues piled into an SUV and paid the driver to take them to the nearest town in search of a bed.
As the vehicle wound its way along the treacherous mountain scape, its brake cable snapped throwing it off the edge of a cliff and into a ravine.
Somehow Levison and all the other passengers survived, with the explorer later saying: 'We are lucky to be alive'.

Miley Cyrus' mom Tish reveals how she feels about her relationship with boyfriend Maxx Morando

' mother Tish Cyrus is giving her no-holds-barred thoughts on her daughters' romantic lives. On the latest episode of her Sorry We're Cyrus podcast, the 58-year-old matriarch shared her honest opinion about Miley's, 32, Noah's, 25, and Brandi's, 38, partners. Chatting with guest Harry Jowsey, she divulged, 'All my girls are in such super-healthy, amazing relationships.' The proud mom, who is married to Australian actor Dominic Purcell, gushed, 'I love love and I think that they have been much more cautious in love than I was, and taken longer to make sure it's the right person.' Miley is dating Maxx Morando, while Noah is engaged to fashion designer Pinkus, and Brandi is coupled up with Matt Southcombe. Tish said her female children have made sure 'there are no red flags' when it comes to who they've settled down with. In April Noah appeared on Sorry We're Cyrus, which her mom co-hosts with her older sister Brandi, and gushed, 'My fiancé and my mom are really close.' She elaborated, 'I love that so much because [with] my past boyfriends, my mom has not been close with [them].' The singer clarified, 'Well, my first one you tried to be [close with] and then the rest were just, like, [a] plane crash. We got through it, and now I'm with a nice, little German man.' Tish split from her Billy Ray Cyrus in 2022 after 28 years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2023. She married Prison Break star Dominic in August of the same year. Meanwhile, Billy Ray, 63, debuted his shock romance with Elizabeth Hurley, 59, in April. It came after the end of his short-lived marriage to 36-year-old singer Firerose, which was settled in August 2024. Billy Ray praised his ex-wife Tish via social media on Mother's Day this year. In recognition of the holiday, the country crooner — who shares five kids with Tish — posted a solemn statement on Instagram that centered around family. In addition to Miley, Noah, and Brandi, the exes are parents to Braison, 31, and Trace, 36 — who slammed the patriarch as 'evil' earlier this week. 'Happy Mother's Day to all the #StrongMothers out there. Here's a couple that made our family who and what we are,' he began. Speaking highly of his ex, he said, 'Tish Cyrus was and is the very definition of a strong mother,' adding, 'Trust me, I'm the first to admit... being married to me was not easy.' The Achy Breaky Heart singer continued, 'I'm very good at making mistakes. A very imperfect man. But thank goodness... somewhere along the line my Mama also taught me "life is a series of adjustments."' He also named Miley in the lengthy message, writing, 'I'm so proud of Miley and her guts and her courage... her wisdom and strength to bring it when our family needed it most.' Billy went on to share, 'We are so close to a full healing. We have all been through a lot.'

Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz snap a smiling selfie during museum visit after reuniting for their fourth movie

Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz enjoyed time together at a museum this week while filming on set in Spain. The two actors, who frequently collaborated together on major blockbuster movies in the past, visited the Museo Reina Sofía while filming their fourth movie together in Madrid. On Friday, the museum and Depp shared a joint Instagram post with photos of the acting duo enjoying the artwork. The stylish pair posed for a smiling selfie together and also wrapped their arms around each other's shoulders as they stood in front of a black-and-white mural. The caption read: 'Thanks for joining us @johnnydepp and @penelopecruzoficial, until next time!' Depp and Cruz's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise costar Orlando Bloom left a comment to show his support as he left two red heart emojis on the post — just shortly after he teased the possibility of 'getting the band together' for a new movie. Depp, 62, and Cruz, 51, are currently filming Day Drinker, their upcoming action thriller. The forthcoming film marks their fourth collaboration after they worked together on Blow in 2001, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 2011 and Murder on the Orient Express in 2017. Depp and Cruz's forthcoming movie Day Drinker is directed by Marc Webb and written by Zach Dean. The upcoming film follows an enigmatic stranger forms an unlikely bond with a grieving bartender who lost her lover, their lives intertwining in unexpected ways. Depp plays the 'mysterious' guest on board a private yacht who crosses paths with the bartender, who is played by Madelyn Cline. The synopsis reads as follows: 'They soon find themselves entangled with a criminal figure (Cruz) and connected in ways no one saw coming.' The cast also includes Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto, Anika Boyle and many more. The film marks Depp's return to Hollywood as it's his first role in film from a major distributor since he starred in 2018's Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Ever since the end of his highly publicized, 2022 defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard, who currently lives in Madrid, he has made a slow return to the film industry. He starred in the French film Jeanne du Barry that opened the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and directed the movie Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness. At the movie's premiere last September at the San Sebastian FIlm Festival, Cruz reunited with Depp. She previously defended him and even submitted declarations in court on behalf of Depp during his trial. 'Many years have passed and I have not only made three movies with him, but I also count on him as a great friend,' she wrote about her longtime collaborator.
