The expenditure statements of these parties were not analysed as part of the report. The report said wherever possible, expenditure must be limited to transactions via cheques or DD (demand draft) or RTGS, so as to reduce the use of black money in elections in accordance with the transparency guidelines issued by the EC.The ADR also urged the EC to appoint observers to monitor party expenditure, akin to those who track candidate spending.Must Watch

Bharat Mata row: Left front playing vote-bank politics, says Kerala BJP leader Surendran
Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president K. Surendran on Saturday (June 21, 2025) blamed the Left front for playing vote-bank politics by creating a furore over the portrait of 'Bharat Mata' displayed at the Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. By opposing Bharat Mata and the saffron flag, the Ministers in the Left front government and the leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) think that they can make political gains. It is a clear conspiracy to appease a section of the voters aimed at making gains in the forthcoming local body and Assembly elections, he alleged. He said the Bharat Mata concept and saffron flag have been part of the Indian tradition for long. The State government and the Ministers have no powers to say that the portrait of the Bharat Mata cannot be displayed at the Raj Bhavan, he said.

'...Lens Of Their Politics': BJP After Sonia Gandhi Questions India's Stand On Israel-Iran Conflict
Last Updated: Replying to Sonia Gandhi's opinion, BJP stated that India's stance is clear in terms of Israel and Iran conflict and New Delhi wants both countries to de-escalate. Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Saturday questioned India's silence on the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran and said that it not only represents a diplomatic lapse but a departure from India's 'moral and strategic values". However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was quick in responding to the Congress's accusations and said that the grand old party is seeing the diplomatic issues through the lens of their politics. The saffron party further stated that India's stance is clear in terms of Israel and Iran conflict and New Delhi wants both countries to de-escalate. What Did Sonia Gandhi Say? Sonia Gandhi condemned Israel's attack on Iranian territory and termed it 'unlawful". The Congress leader also stated that Iran has been a long-standing friend to India and is bound by deep civilisational ties. In an Op-ed for The Hindu titled as ' It Is Still Not Too Late For India's Voice To Be Heard ', Sonia Gandhi reminded India that Iran has supported New Delhi on multiple occasions. 'In 1994, Iran helped block a resolution critical of India at the UN Commission on Human Rights on the Kashmir issue," she said. First Published: June 21, 2025, 11:41 IST

He stressed the need to highlight how the Congress govt has failed to implement Six Guarantees in the state. He announced that the party has formed committees at the mandal and village levels, comprising youngsters. Kishan Reddy said "It is unfortunate that even high-ranking officials, including judges, have become victims of phone tapping. "
