Watch: Rosé's 'silent concert' drama explodes on TikTok as influencer Haylee Baylee seemingly shades BLACKPINK star

Time of Indiaa day ago
BLACKPINK is currently on their highly anticipated DEADLINE World Tour, lighting up arenas across the world with explosive group stages and stunning solo sets. Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé have each been captivating fans with their performances, proving once again that BLACKPINK's popularity goes beyond their group, with four powerhouses having fanbases of their own.
So when Rosé's solo stage in Toronto took an unexpectedly awkward turn, the internet was sure to explode. During her heartfelt performance of her track 3 am off her solo album Rosie, Rosé invited the crowd to sing along, but instead of an emotional chorus of voices, the stadium fell eerily quiet. Given her global popularity, especially outside of group activities, fans were shocked, and it didn't take long for clips of the moment to go viral across X, TikTok, and Threads. However, it turned into a full-blown trend after a popular US influencer seemingly shaded the BLACKPINK star.
The story behind Rosé's silent crowd
At BLACKPINK's DEADLINE World Tour concert in Toronto (Rogers Stadium, July 22–23, 2025), fans witnessed an awkward moment during Rosé's solo performance of '3 am.' When she turned her mic toward the crowd, expecting a fan sing‑along, several viral clips captured a quiet audience, not the enthusiastic response usually seen at K‑pop stadium shows.
The internet quickly dubbed the moment 'embarrassing,' with critics questioning the crowd's lack of energy, particularly during a softer ballad like 3 am. Some even questioned Rosé's solo popularity beyond her mega-hit 'APT.'
But fans rushed to defend the singer. Other user‑recorded clips showed audience members singing loudly and enthusiastically. The discrepancy was attributed to varied fan energy levels across seating areas and the presence of casual listeners not familiar with slower solo tracks. Some also alleged that the video of the silent crowd was edited and then spread across social media platforms by fans of rival groups.

Haley Kalil joins the conversation
Popular U.S. influencer and former model Haley Kalil—better known online as Haylee Baylee—didn't miss her chance to join the viral moment. Famous for her hilarious skits and chaotic humour (yes, including that fake obituary video that fooled half the internet), Haylee added fuel to the 3 am discourse in classic TikTok fashion.
While she didn't directly name Rosé or the concert, she posted a video captioned 'Pop stars when they realise the audience doesn't know the lyrics to their song'—dramatically pretending to hold out a mic to a silent crowd, then reacting in mock horror. The post quickly racked up views, and fans were quick to connect the dots. It was a subtle shade, but the internet caught it instantly.

Haley's subtle shade invites divided reactions
While some users found the TikTok hilarious and spot-on, others weren't as amused. A wave of comments accused Haylee of low-key trolling Rosé, with a few pointing out the irony that she'd probably still jump at the chance to interview her on a red carpet.
Why does she always shade celebrities on social media but act all friendly when she's around them...She's so fake she'll do anything for engagements pic.twitter.com/Vx7TswI75o
More about BLACKPINK's DEADLINE concert
BLACKPINK's DEADLINE World Tour, which kicked off earlier this month in Seoul, has been nothing short of a spectacle, packed with jaw-dropping visuals, powerhouse vocals, and sleek choreography. Each member—Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé—has been shining both as a group and in their solo stages, giving fans a mix of energy, emotion, and star power. From solo remixes to dramatic stage reveals, the tour blends stadium-scale production with deeply personal moments. It's a full-blown celebration of BLACKPINK's evolution and individual artistry.

Ganpati mandals rejoice as HC permits idol immersion in sea

Mumbai: Ganpati mandals are relieved at Thursday's Bombay High Court order permitting PoP idols over 6 ft tall to be immersed in the sea. They had been wary of organising full fledged celebrations in the absence of proper permissions. Now that the curbs have been lifted they are going ahead full steam with their usual tall moortis, decoration and fundraising. Ankur Lad, spokesperson for Khetwadi Cha Vighnaharta of Girgaum, said artificial tanks were not suited to tall moortis. "PoP idols of 20-25 ft contain metal and iron rods and frames inside for support. In fact even clay idols of that height, like Girgaon Cha Raja, have wood inside. Such idols won't dissolve at all, because how deep can you make artificial ponds," he reasoned. Even as the tug of war over PoP was under way, some mandals voluntarily switched to eco-friendly raw material. Rajendra Sawant, secretary of the 77-year-old Ambedkar Nagar mandal in Worli, said, "Our 10 ft idol was usually made of PoP. But after the earlier ban and concerns over environment safety we used a clay idol. This year it is carved from tissue paper. The decision had to be made quickly as we were sceptical about waiting for the decision over PoP immersion. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Private Browsers That Keep You Safe vividtrendlab Undo " You Can Also Check: Mumbai AQI | Weather in Mumbai | Bank Holidays in Mumbai | Public Holidays in Mumbai Abhinay Hate of Kandivali Cha Vighnaharta said their idol is 14 ft tall. "We too were tense about the ban even though we immerse our idol in a pond in any case. But this time there is no confirmation yet for the protocol to be followed at the pond where we usually go. The HC order is a big relief, though." The prominent Chandanwadi Ganeshotsav mandal near Marine Lines hosts a 26 ft tall moorti. Secretary Prathamesh Sakpal said, "Thousands of Ganpati idols are immersed every year amid processions that include lakhs of people. It would be problematic if there was an interruption." In Andheri West, the Saat Bangla Cha Raja stands 22 ft tall. Vice president Amith Kadam said, "Immersion of tall idols beyond 6 ft would have been impossible to execute in artificial tanks. Thanks to the HC order we can now continue our preparations with ease." Santosh Narkar, newly elected chairman of Khetwadi Cha Raja in Girgaum said their idol is 31 ft tall. "Our moortikar Aniket Shevale has carved an outstanding idol this year."

Drake and Bobbi Althoff fallout explained as the duo rekindles their friendship two years after dating rumours and podcast drama

Drake and Bobbi Althoff's relationship started with major internet attention when the rapper appeared on The Really Good Podcast in July 2023. The awkward, dry-toned banter between them went viral almost instantly, helping Bobbi skyrocket from a niche TikToker to one of the most talked-about podcast hosts online. For many, it was the first time seeing the Hotline Bling appear in such a stripped-down, casual setting and it worked. Why did Bobbi Althoff delete her Drake podcast episode? But just as fans were rewatching clips on loop, the full video mysteriously vanished. Bobbi deleted the Drake episode only a month after it aired, and no real explanation was given. That decision quickly fuelled speculation online, with many assuming some kind of behind-the-scenes drama had gone down between the two. Theories about a fallout started circulating on social media, made worse when Bobbi was reportedly kicked out of Drake's SXSW afterparty for showing up without an invite. The duo also ended up unfollowing each other on social media, sparking further speculations. Bobbi Althoff & Drake unfollowed each other on instagram and she seems to have deleted any content from her Drake interview on socials. 🤔 When Bobbi sparked Drake dating rumours after divorce filing The timeline only got messier. In February 2024, Bobbi Althoff filed for divorce from her husband, Cory, with whom she shares two daughters, while also revealing that they had separated in July 2023. That's the exact same month her interview with Drake dropped, leading fans to connect dots that may or may not be real. Romance rumours flooded TikTok and Reddit, but Bobbi was quick to shut them down. She even posted a private DM exchange with Barstool's Dave Portnoy, writing, 'I did not want to do this podcast in the first place, and now so much negativity is coming from it.' Bobbi Althoff shuts down Drake romance speculation—sort of Despite the rumours, both Bobbi and Drake stayed publicly silent about each other for months. The only hint of closure came during a January 2024 interview with Keke Palmer, where Bobbi briefly addressed her experience with the rapper. 'He's a very nice person,' she said, offering neither confirmation nor denial, just a neutral statement that didn't add much to the mystery. Drake tells Bobbi to 'unblock' him in surprise Instagram comment Then came a surprising twist. Recently, Bobbi shared a screenshot of a comment Drake left on one of her Instagram posts: 'UNBLOCK MY NAME FROM YOUR COMMENTS.' Her dry response? 'I'll consider it.' While no one knows why his name was blocked to begin with, the interaction was enough to get fans speculating all over again. It's unclear if the comment was serious or playful, but it was the first public acknowledgement between the two in years, suggesting maybe their alleged beef is cooling off. Who is Bobbi Althoff? Bobbi Althoff is a social media personality and podcast host best known for her deadpan interview style and rapid rise to fame. Originally gaining popularity on TikTok for her satirical 'mom content,' she pivoted into podcasting in 2023 and quickly went viral thanks to interviews with celebrities like Drake, Lil Yachty, and Offset. Her show, The Really Good Podcast, has since become one of the internet's most discussed platforms for awkward celebrity interactions.
