Strategic Meeting Held
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Muadhid bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, and Abdullah Mohammed Al Kuwari, Vice Chairman of the Organising Committee for Camel Racing in Qatar, at the committee's headquarters.
Cultural Sport Promoted
His Excellency bin Huwaiden emphasised the importance of aligning their efforts with the strategic goals of both organisations to promote camel racing while preserving its traditional roots within a framework that safeguards the cultural aspects of the sport.
Qatar's Efforts Praised
He acknowledged the significant contributions of the Qatari committee in advancing camel racing within Qatar and the wider GCC region, as well as encouraging public participation in this traditional sport. He particularly noted the impressive developments at the Al Sheehaniya camel racing track in recent years.
Continued Cooperation Confirmed
Abdullah Mohammed Al Kuwari reaffirmed the commitment to collaborate with the Sharjah Camel Racing Club to ensure the success of various races, events, and championships, supporting the joint efforts of both parties in promoting and enhancing the sport.

Highlights of the sponsorship include a dedicated hospitality pavilion that showcases authentic Qatari culture and serves as a platform to connect with international partners and tourism industry players. Visit Qatar's VIP Pavilion will host business partners, embassy representatives, Racing and Equestrian Club guests, as well as UK stakeholders and invited influencers. The sponsorship aligns with Visit Qatar's broader strategy to raise brand visibility in key international markets, strengthen ties with global tourism and sports stakeholders, and position Qatar as a leading destination for prestigious events.
