Emma Stone Makes Rare Comment About Working with Ex Andrew Garfield: ‘Special Time in My Life'
The former couple met on the set of 2012's 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and dated for four years NEED TO KNOW Emma Stone starred as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man films Stone starred opposite Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker) whom she dated for four years The actress made a rare comment about Garfield in a sit-down for Vogue's Life in Looks Emma Stone will always look back at her time with Andrew Garfield with a smile. In a sit-down for Vogue's Life in Looks published on Thursday, Aug. 14, the actress made a rare comment about working with the actor, whom she met on the set of 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and dated for four years. As fans recall, Garfield starred as the titular character of Spider-Man/Peter Parker, while Stone played Gwen Stacy. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! The topic of Garfield came up as Stone began discussing the yellow Versace dress she wore to the premiere of 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in London. "I mean, I really loved doing Spider-Man. I loved everyone I worked with. I met Andrew there. I met Sally Field and Marc Webb was wonderful. It was really a special time in my life," the two-time Oscar winner said. Stone said that the people she was surrounded by while filming made her experience better. "The recurring theme is the people, more than kind of like the film itself, is what sticks with me for so long," she said. "And so I have only like the fondest memories of this whole experience." The only complaint Stone had regarding her time filming The Amazing Spider-Man movies was the press tours. "I don't really know how people do it. I remember it being like nine countries in maybe two weeks, and you're functioning in a state of jet lag never previously known to you," she said. "I felt truly psychotic the entire time." In past interviews, Garfield has also spoken highly about Stone and working on The Amazing Spider-Man films. While speaking with Variety in 2021, he said that working on the films was 'beautiful' because he 'got to meet Emma [Stone] and work with her,' as well as Field. As for whether he'll ever step into the world of Spider-Man again, after most recently appearing as the character in the 2021 hit Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland, never say never. Justin Bieber Shares 2 New Photos of Baby Jack Days Before His 1st Birthday
THE RUNDOWN In exactly one week, Justin and Hailey Bieber's son, Jack Blues Bieber, will celebrate his first birthday. In the final days leading up to that milestone, his dad, Justin, posted two new looks at his baby boy on Instagram. Justin shared one photo of Jack sitting on the green of a golf course in a gray T-shirt and black pants. In a second shot, Jack and Justin appear together, with Jack decked out in an all-pink outfit. In both photos, Justin kept his son's face hidden. He and Hailey have consistently done so to protect their boy's privacy. Jack has already starred in a music video ahead of turning one. Justin included footage of him and Hailey in the 'Yukon' video released earlier this month. Jack's eyes were always hidden, but the video did feature a close-up of his face. Hailey has spoken about how much Jack has changed her life. 'He's my priority,' she told Vogue earlier this year. 'He is the most important thing to me. [Motherhood has] been my biggest teacher so far, the biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently. I think you empathize with your parents a lot more. There's so much perspective that comes with it.' Justin told the outlet that fatherhood has been magical, writing in an email, 'I'm walking in the days I always dreamed of.' The proud parents haven't shared how they're celebrating Jack's big day yet.
