The video captures two elephants standing closely beside Chailert, who is seated calmly on a mound of dirt under a simple shelter. One of the elephants gently extends its trunk, lightly brushing her in an affectionate gesture. As she sings a gentle tune, the elephants appear to respond in their own way—somewhat vocalising, seemingly joining her in a chorus of calm.

'Their happiness is my happiness too'
Posting the clip on Instagram, Chailert wrote, 'Many people ask me how I know what elephants need. The simple answer is this: just listen to your heart. Their basic needs are no different from ours—they want to live safely, be well fed, and feel happy.'
She continued with a powerful message: 'If humans can break down the wall of belief that we are superior to animals, that animals exist to serve us, and instead choose to live together peacefully, we will begin to see the profound beauty in them. Happiness and peace can be found anywhere, if we open our hearts.'
Reflecting on the moment in the video, Chailert added, 'You can see how much elephants enjoy being sung to. They feel happy and relaxed, and sometimes even sing along. My best moments are when I'm surrounded by elephants—my family, whom I love deeply. Every day, I spend time with them, learning what they need. These are the most peaceful and joyful times for me. Because their happiness is my happiness too.'
Social media reacts with love
The video has garnered over 141,000 views and has prompted numerous heartfelt comments from viewers. One viewer commented, 'This is the most peaceful thing I've seen all day.' Another shared, 'She treats them like her own children. Absolutely beautiful.'
A third person wrote, 'This just made me cry. The love is real.' Someone else added, 'We don't deserve animals.' Another user said, 'This is pure magic.' One person remarked, 'You can feel the connection.' Yet another added, 'Thank you for giving them the life they deserve.' And one more shared, 'This gave me goosebumps. Elephants are truly special.'

Justin Bieber says he ‘can be extremely selfish and impatient' amidst rumours of marriage struggles with Hailey Bieber

Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber offered an honest glimpse into his mindset with a spiritual and self-aware message on social media. 'Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me,' the singer wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. Justin Bieber(AFP) Alongside photos of himself smiling while on a peaceful hike in the woods, the 31-year-old added, 'Let's have a good day, let's go outside. Get in nature.' The update follows the release of his surprise album Swag, which came out earlier this month. The 21-track, R&B-infused project marked his return to music after a four-year hiatus and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200—giving him the biggest streaming week of his career. His wife, Hailey Bieber, has been by his side throughout the album's rollout. She appeared with him on promotional billboards, joined him at a listening party where the couple shared a passionate kiss, and supported the release with a bold Instagram Story: 'Is it finally clocking to you f*****g losers?' Justin and Hailey also share their son, Jack Blues, who is 11 months old. Earlier this year, Justin opened up about long-standing feelings of self-doubt. 'I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, 'Damn, if they only knew my thoughts, how judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn't be saying this," ,' he wrote in March via Instagram story. 'I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days,' he added. In another post in June, he further opened up about his emotional struggles. 'Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,' he wrote, adding that he was feeling 'broken' and grappling with 'anger issues.'

‘Looks Like Twinkle Khanna': How Smriti Irani Landed Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Role

Producer Ektaa Kapoor shared an interesting anecdote that turned over the long-held belief that she was the one who chose Smriti for the role. Smriti Irani, the beloved face of Indian television, has made a much-anticipated return to the small screen with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Nearly two decades later, the actress-turned-politician is lighting up screens as Tulsi and audiences couldn't be more thrilled. The reboot of the iconic Star Plus drama premiered on July 29 and fans were swept with nostalgia at seeing Irani reprise her legendary role. But what's caught everyone's attention even more than the show's return is the surprising revelation about how Smriti Irani was originally cast. In a live session on Star Plus's official Instagram page, producer Ektaa Kapoor shared an interesting anecdote that turned over the long-held belief that she was the one who chose Smriti for the role. Ektaa revealed that her mother, Shobha Kapoor, had spotted Irani during a different Star Plus program and was struck by her beauty. She revealed, 'Meri mom ne Smriti ko ek show mein dekha tha aur bola ke ye ek ladki maine show mein dekha hai… Joh bahut hi khubsurat hai aur mujhe bahut pasand aayi hai (My mom saw Smriti in a show and said, 'I saw this girl… she's really beautiful and I really liked her.')." She went on to say that she had stepped in last minute as a replacement for a friend in the show, where her mother spotted Smriti. 'I was filling in for one of Ektaa's friends who didn't show up. It was purely by chance," Ektaa revealed. View this post on Instagram A post shared by TV Promos (@tvpromosindia) Smriti Irani's comparison with Twinkle Khanna During the same conversation, Ektaa then told Smriti, 'I don't know what you did back then, but my mom was completely taken by you. She's actually a big fan of Twinkle Khanna and she called me saying, 'There's this girl who looks like Twinkle Khanna and she's so beautiful—please cast her.' So everyone thinks I cast you for Kyunki, but it was actually my mom who saw you and said, 'I really like this girl… and what a face." Smriti Irani's audition While Smriti's performance impressed Ektaa instantly, no one else on the set was convinced at the time. Ektaa revealed, 'Smriti came for the auditions. She was very slim, quiet and shy. She gave her audition and ended it with such a sweet smile." Ektaa Kapoor's show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu. This original series first aired in July 2000. The daily soap revolutionised Indian television and the 'saas-bahu" genre, enjoying a successful eight-year run. Created by Ektaa Kapoor, the show revolved around a strong, self-sacrificing and principled daughter-in-law, Tulsi Virani. Her character became a cultural icon, challenging stereotypical portrayals of women on screen. The story explored family dynamics, relationships and power struggles within a joint household. Now, after 25 years, the new season brings back the original cast, including Smriti Irani, Gauri Pradhan, Hiten Tejwani, Amar Upadhyay, Shakti Anand and Ketki Dave. The makers have also introduced fresh faces like Aman Gandhi, Rohit Suchanti and Shagun Sharma. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Kyunki 2 premiered again on small screens on July 29 at 10:30 PM. Fans can watch the upcoming episodes on Star Plus or JioHotstar. First Published: July 30, 2025, 18:17 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
