Italian PM Meloni calls Saudi Crown Prince to discuss developments in Gaza
NEOM — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received on Tuesday a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
During the call, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop them in several fields.
The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian repercussions. They underlined the need for the international community to exert all efforts to de-escalate the situation, end the disastrous effects of the aggression, and protect civilians.

On international developments, the cabinet reiterated the Kingdom's support for efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis. It was briefed on the telephone talks held between Crown Prince Mohammed and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday. The cabinet welcomed the peace agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan last week, hoping it will help consolidate stability in the Caucasus and pave the way for a new phase of cooperation between the neighbors.
