Biker dad will retire and buy wife a hot tub after £3,900,000 Lottery win
That was the answer of Jon Waring, 57, and his partner Lucy, 48, when they woke up to discover he'd won the £3.9 million Lotto Jackpot from May 31.
The pair have now decided to quit both their jobs too and have put a Harley-Davidson at the top of their wish list.
Rock fan Jon played Lotto each week since the game started before waking up at 4am on June 1 to check his ticket.
His Lotto numbers were 8, 11, 12, 16, 20 and 33 and he matched all six to claim the multi-million pound jackpot.
He said: 'Something just made me go to check my emails and I saw an email saying I had won a prize.
'I went to Google the winning numbers and I knew they were mine.
'I turned my tablet off – left it five minutes – and then turned it back on to double and triple check!
'I woke Lucy and she said, still half asleep, 'is it 1 April?' I said 'No, it is June!'
'We just could not believe it – there was no way we were getting back to sleep! We just sat and drank tea – we must have had 10 cups between us.'
The pair, who also have a 15-year-old daughter, are still in disbelief but have been very clear-headed about what they wanted to do next.
Jon has already handed in his notice at Devon and Cornwall Police, where he has worked as a radio operator for 16 years.
Wife Lucy, 48, is working her notice as a nurse at Torbay Hospital.
Now its time for to kick back and relax for the couple who don't even have current passports.
Jon explained: 'As a result of our shift work, we have not had a proper holiday together for a long, long time.
According to the National Lottery website, the odds of winning the jackpots are:
Thunderball top prize: 1 in 8,060,598
Lotto jackpot: 1 in 45,057,474
EuroMillions jackpot: 1 in 139,838,160
Set For Life top prize: 1 in 15,339,390
Before you go rushing out to buy a Thunderball ticket or two (or three), here, it's important to put the odds into perspective.
There are many things more likely to happen than winning the lottery.
According to Save The Student, you are almost five times more likely to be struck by lightning, 64 times more likely to be crushed by a meteorite, and 4,000 times more likely to win an Oscar.
'We are now really looking forward to booking something and knowing we can just holiday when we choose! Perhaps a trip to New Orleans for the music.
'It's all the things you dream about trying and seeing but know you never will – until something like this happens!'
The biker dad wants to buy a Harley-Davidson trike bike first thing, while mum Lucy has a hot tub in her sights.
They also want to upscale their family house, finding one big enough to hold a music room with a guitar display.
Their new crib will also need a driveway big enough to hold the new car Jon wants to buy – an Audi Q7.
He added, 'It's a complete change of lifestyle – it won't change us, but it will change what we can do! And the pace at which we do it too.' More Trending

Lucky person claims £210,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot - could it be you?
A lucky person has finally claimed the record-breaking £210million EuroMillions jackpot. A person in France was the lucky winner with the numbers 24, 31, 34, 41 and 43, while the lucky stars were 06 and 08. One Brit came desperately close to claiming the record prize but missed just one lucky star and won comparatively paltry £182,967.60 All lottery winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their winnings. Recent winners include dearest friends Carly Wiggett and Becky Witt who used a horoscope to win £168,000 each. A family from Cork, Ireland who won £216,000,000 and revealed they plan to stay in their home city, with no 'outrageous plans to spend the cash yet – except maybe a Rolex'. The jackpot reached its cap of 250 million Euros – an estimated £210 million – for this latest draw. But not all big winners have had a fairytale ending, with some falling victim to assassination, abduction, substance abuse and, somewhat ironically, financial trouble. The number of millionaire winners whose lives have taken a turn for the worse has led some to dub it a curse. To win the next week's unprecedented estimated jackpot, entrants must have five winning numbers, as well as two EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers. For the Thunderball, players need to match all five main numbers plus the Thunderball. "Although I'm a regular player, I hadn't bought a ticket for the last two draws. I picked one up and honestly, didn't think much of it," they said. The impromptu purchase changed the family's lives forever. While they waited to cash in, the family took extra precautions to protect their winning ticket. However, their unique move proved potentially risky as they concealed it within an A4 sheet before placing it under a stack of laundry. It remained in the pile of clothes in their bedroom until it could be safely delivered to the National Lottery.
